The Inn at 605, is a stately, circa 1928 Georgian home built by the construction manager for the Colonial Williamsburg restoration. The same craftsman, who meticulously restored and reconstructed the 18th century town, also used their skills to build the inn in the classic Colonial style. All with in walking distance to the Merchant Square area. Updated to the 21st Century with outstanding amenities.

The Williamsburg Manor is a unique home rental. While we are a traditional bed & breakfast the house is often rented by single groups. We are always available when you need us and able to give you all the privacy you would like.

The accommodations at the Inn at 605 are as follows: Our Madison Suite is a two story suite, featuring a wood burning fireplace, pull out leather sofa, 2 full size baths and 2 televisions, Alexa and a king size bed. The Hamilton Ordinary features a King Size Bed, private bath, fireplace, television and Alexa.
The Franklin Study and the Valet Room feature queen size beds, private baths, televisions and Alexa. The Jefferson Suite is located on the 3rd floor, and features a private sitting room, full bath, queen size bed room with a fireplace.

These accommodations will sleep 12 people. We also have several cots and porta cribs available. A Full Regional Family Style Breakfast is offered each morning. We are caterers and prepare a wonderful breakfast. Additionally, always have freshly baked cookies, fresh coffee & hot chocolate, penny candy style snacks and soft drinks available.

All of the guest rooms feature large televisions, Private Baths, and Great Views of the area. This is a historic home, constructed in 1965, with bricks over 300 years old and purchased by James P. Whyte, Jr (Dean of Marshall-Whyte School of Law at the College of William and Mary, 1969-1975). Dean Whyte purchased the bricks from a courthouse built in Williamsburg in 1720 constructed with hand-made bricks made by indentured servants brought over from England during the late 1600s through the American Revolution. Many original elements remain intact from the original home constructed on this gorgeous property. We love pets and while we would love to host them as well, it is not possible due to the sensitive nature of this historic property and the high degree of stewardship required to maintain authenticity and original elements. There are several excellent boarding facilities in close proximity to the property and recommendations can be provided on request.

Our spacious living room & dining room are common areas. Our home is spacious with wide hallways & a gradual sloping staircase. Those who enjoy smoking are welcome to smoke on the back porch. Our kitchen is offered with limits and if you stay with us for a week, we allow you to use our laundry room. Curbside parking is available.

We are a 5 minute walk to Colonial Williamsburg and can begin walking through town immediately. The space
Perfect for a gathering of friends or family, the Cedars Cottage is ideal for couples traveling together or families with children. Our cottage is adjacent to but separate from our main house and conveniently located so guests can easily enjoy our common interior areas and gourmet breakfast. Booking our Cottage allocates two separate rooms with separate street level entrances for socializing, comfort and closeness during the day while offering quiet privacy at night.

Our Dogwood room (downstairs) has a large king size bed and daybed and private bathroom with a shower. The Juniper room (upstairs) has a queen bed, sitting area, and library and private bathroom with a combined bathtub/shower. Both rooms come equipped with fireplaces.

Please note that each room has its own exterior entrance and that the rooms do not connect.
