Hanover Cottage offers everything you need to have a wonderful stay in downtown Fredericksburg. It is walking distance to restaurants, bars, art galleries, shops, train station, etc., and less than two blocks from Sunken Road and the 1862 Civil War battlefield, only 3 miles from I95. Street parking is available.

We respectfully request smokers not consider booking as smoking or vaping is prohibited in the cottage as well as on the property.

Two visitor parking passes for street parking will be included with your stay, please put the parking passes on your windshield immediately to avoid being towed, we are not responsible for those that are towed. Please return the parking pass prior to departure. If it is not returned a $75 fee will be charged to replace it.

When traveling you don't want to be uncomfortable away from home. We won't let that happen! When you arrive to our guest house you will feel like slipping into your favorite pair of PJ’s and cozy slippers. The space
From the outside it's a two car garage built in 1912. Recently taken down to it's studs to modernize it for today's living. It's now a studio floor plan design which is quite comfortable and stylish. A modern, crisp and clean bathroom to enjoy along with a small but well appointed kitchen. We splurged on the king size bed because good sleep comes at any cost. The Comfort Sleeper® by American Leather® is the most comfortable sleeper available. American Leather redefined the sofa bed industry, elevating it to a new level of comfort with no bars or springs ! When your not in bed explore by walking a few blocks to the restaurants, shops and history. Thanks for considering this little special gem in the city.

Dishware, silverware, glasses, blender, cutting board, paper towels, napkins, umbrella, iron, shampoo/conditioner/shower gel, USB charging port, alarm clock.

Network attached smart TV is available so that you can use your favorite streaming audio and video accounts.

Fredericksburg is the childhood home of George Washington, his mother also lived in the town. You can visit these homes as well as the famous battlefields from colonial and civil battles...

If you just want to relax, this two bedroom guesthouse is the perfect way to recharge your batteries and enjoy the countryside in peace.

The property is spacious, with plenty of land to walk around. We have a private pool. Please be aware that we also use the pool so we may share space from time to time.
