BIRDS’ EYE VIEW provides quite possibly the most glorious panoramic view of the majestic Santa Lucia mountains.

This custom-built home has two stories, each floor has a bedroom and a newly renovated bathroom. The home has a cozy wood burning fireplace, and an overall “hip” cabin feel with wood throughout. It also boasts full central air conditioning and heating… a rarity in Cambria! In addition to the two floors there is a loft area… a fun hideout/play/sleep area for the kids!

There are two separate outdoor decks. The side deck features Adirondack chairs gathered around a comforting fire table, and a barbecue. The upper deck has full sun in the morning and spectacular views at both sunrise and sunset. Also a hammock for those lazy afternoons at the “Top of the World” as this area of Cambria is nicknamed. The large garden beneath features various fruit trees with plenty of citrus fruit ripe for the picking.

Over the horizon, look to Highway 46 which takes you directly east to Paso Robles’ renowned wine country, which begins a mere minutes’ drive away, or head directly down nearby Highway 1 to quaint Harmony (population 18) or a few minutes further south to Cayucos, the cozy surf village.

Just 15 minutes north along Highway 1 is the legendary Hearst Castle, as well as the elephant seal viewing area, which is always a delight.

And if you’re staying in Cambria, enjoy the beautiful hikes at the expansive Fiscalini Ranch, explore the tide pools at Lampton Cliffs, or just head down to Cambria’s Main Street for comfort food dining at the famous Linn’s Restaurant (try the region’s very own olallieberry pie) and antique hunting at the many shops, perusing the art galleries, or head over to the glorious Moonstone Beach to walk along the famed beachside boardwalk.
