- "Excellent location, staff and family friendly. The staff was very responsive, polite and helpful. " - "Wow! What an amazing place to stay. We rented a cabin and it was perfect for my little family. There was so much to do at this little RV park and my kids had a blast! The workers were all incredibly kind and I appreciated their kindness. It is true that some of the rv sites are small, but I watched one of their maintenance workers helping one person after another back up their RVs. He deserves a raise for sure! He would guide them on his golf cart and then walk around and back them up with expertise and precision! My family and I will definitely be back to stay here again. "

- "Nice place, close to the beach and downtown. Could use a printer for those of us who take work-cation's. Also, could not get the BBQ to start, didn't have any matches or a fire wand in the unit to start the BBQ. Overall, very nice....." - "Had a great visit to Pismo Beach. This home had all the essentials to make our stay comfortable." - "The location was top notch. Walking distance to many of Pismo's restaurants and shops. Even easier access to the beach. There was one potential issue... that really wasn't an issue. Regardless, property manager was very responsive. Available beach chairs and beach towels were extremely convenient. Everything in the kitchen was more than sufficient."

Cabin has amazing views of local vineyards and is only 2 miles from town and 15 miles to the beach.
This cabin was originally built in the 40's during WWII and was used on Camp Roberts as a military bunker. Its a very unique, charming, quite, cozy place to stay. Ride your bike or drive to local winery's or take a 15 minute drive to the beach. We are right off Highway 46 West. Located in the 'Templeton Gap' you can escape the heat, guaranteed cooler weather here with a slight afternoon breeze from the coastal influence.

- "Our teens enjoyed the many activities. Property was very clean and hosts were very welcoming." - "Came here with a couple families and 5 kids ages 2-7. There was so much to do between the property outside, pools, hot tubs, beach trips, spa trips, etc. The only thing I would have wanted would be a washer/dryer, otherwise beautiful property and would definitely come back!" - "My 5 children and 6 grandchildren had a grand time and throughly enjoyed their three days at Lodge West. The house was immaculate and maintained with great care. We truly never left the house, but to shop because there were so many activities to do at the house, no one wanted to leave. Linda and Gray were excellent hosts and very available and concerned about our comfort and enjoyment. Definitely a five star vacation experience."

- "We had the very best time staying in this cozy cabin! The owners are super responsive and just the nicest people. They've created this peaceful, private little gem, which feels a little like a mountain getaway but also a little tropical with the refreshing and beautiful pool, which was perfect during the summer. Charmaine thought of everything, even down to reading glasses and ear plugs on each nightstand. We will be back for sure!!" - "My husband and I found the Cabin to be in a great spot for our Paso destination. In fact, it was nice to be just a couple of exits off of the main winery drag (46) as well as only a few miles from downtown PR. As the listing notes, it's not a great place for food -- you'll need to go into PR or Templeton, but we only went into downtown Paso. The place itself is so clean and provides just about everything you can think of that you might need (and everything you didn't know might be interesting), all in two small rooms. I point out the size so that other guests understand that functionally, you've got the best of a suite packed into the size of a hotel room. It's so much more though as well. The grounds are beautiful -- and the pool, hot tub and stone cave shower are the best I have ever experienced anywhere! It's like a resort all to yourself. Communication with Charmaine was instant, and friendly, and she went above and beyond to help me with anything I needed. Know that you're getting it all packed into a small space sitting atop a huge property with a glorious pool and waterfall beneath your toes as you stand on your porch watching the marine layer roll in and the sun dunking into the horizon like a pink and purple tea bag (oh, and the coffee tea bags are good too!)."

Blending in with nature’s inherent beauty, overlooking the lake is this architectural wonder that even the Woodpeckers mistaken for a tree. Plenty of space for a large family to spread out and find their own restful place. A huge kitchen opens to a spacious living area with a wall of sliding glass windows that open to your very own 1400 sq foot wrap around deck. Plenty of seating along the perimeter of this huge deck, as well as patio sets to look down on your dock where you tie up your boat. Walk out of your bedrooms right onto the deck with your morning coffee to enjoy the birds chirping and catch a deer grazing nearby. Or enjoy the most glorious sunsets from the mid century modern patio furniture right outside your bedroom. The closest unit to the beautifully engineered stone steps leading to the docks where your boat will be awaiting you, makes this cabin an amazing catch.

- "Lakefront Landsend is a wonderful place to stay! Communal, serene, cozy and spacious. Mandi is a terrific manager and was so responsive with lots of terrific recommendations. If you plan on heading into town/spending time away from Bradley, schedule ahead with local taxis" - "Lovely spot - kayaks and SUPs available to use. Huge porch with great views!" - "We really enjoyed Lake Nacimiento and making memories here. Our family has endured multiple losses in such a short amount of time, so a small getaway here was just what we needed. We felt so refreshed and uplifted after our trip. The views from the property were simply breathtaking. The property itself was clean, cozy and refreshing! We also got the chance to rent a pontoon boat on Saturday as my husband is an avid fisher, so this place was perfect for him as well."

- "Our family of 12 has a wonderful 4 days there. Since it was off season we had the dock & the area to ourselves. Nine of us stayed there with 3 coming for the day (asked permission beforehand). Make sure you follow their directions and not your gps once you get near by because we spent an hour going down & back Tierra Redondo Rd. The main drawback I had was the many signs telling you the $ penalties for doing something incorrectly. It detracted from the enjoyment, reminding you that you were at a rental & not a guest house. My communications with the staff were always pleasant."

- "What a treat! Carly and her family run an amazing REAL ranch just N of Paso Robles. We TRULY felt like we were get the ranch experience but 5 star version. The drive was scenic and beautiful, we saw bald eagles, owls and lots of cool critters. The cabin was comfortable and well appointed, with lovely sheets and decor. Getting to sit outside and watch the stars and listen to the chirping of the crickets was such a departure from our urban lifestyle. Then the topper was getting to help feed the goats & cows in the am. What a treat to be able to experience nature in such a wonderful way. Don't second guess, stay here. :)"

Summary:
A-Frame cabin with original Lake Naci charm! This cozy & heartwarming home has views of the lake and Cantinas, water levels permitting.
The Space:
This A-frame cabin exudes original character, and is just what you need to unplug, unwind, and slip back in time. On the main level, you'll find the open concept kitchen, dining, and living room with wood burning fireplace, plenty of places to sit, and just what you'll need to cook a homemade meal. You won't find a TV, but instead lots of board games, a record player, CD player, telescope, wood burning fireplace, and space to connect and make lasting memories. A laundry room and bathroom are also on the main floor. Out on the 400 sq ft deck, you'll find two propane BBQs, a fire pit, and comfy patio furniture overlooking the lake and a great view of The Cantinas when the water levels are up. There are steep wooden stairs up to the second floor of the A-frame, not suitable for young children. The primary bedroom features a comfortable king-sized bed with fresh cotton linens. The second bedroom has a full sized bed. Both bedrooms have doors out to the upper balcony with a beautiful mountain and lake view.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the entire home and community amenities including seasonal pool, kiddie pool, playground, basketball courts, mini golf, community events, and boat ramp when lake levels permit. Wifi, washer and dryer, and wood for the fireplace are provided for guests.
There is no TV in the home. If guests wish to watch TV, they must bring a laptop or iPad and may use the WiFi to stream shows.
Other Things to Note:
There is no TV at this listing. If you'd like to stream your favorite shows, bring your laptop or iPad and use our free WiFi!
Located in a gated community highly monitored by an HOA, make sure to follow the rules exactly to avoid tickets and fines. Two vehicles max, no pets, and no guests who are not on the reservation list. Guests must arrive during gate operating hours or they will not be able to enter the property. At the west ramp, you can dock your boat on a first come first-served basis. We do not suggest parking a boat at the house, there is little space, a steep driveway, and not much space to turn around. Boats/boat trailers can not be parked on the street.
- "A quaint cabin with open concept with balcony in front to watch the sunset and look over the cantina and rolling hills, a deck with a gas fire pit to over look the lake as well as the beautiful sunrises.👍🤗😎" - "Amazing place to spend quality time with family. Parking is the only thing I have to complain about and the oven. Very tight space for one vehicle other than that it was perfect. Definitely coming back!" - "Amazing place to spend quality time with family. Parking is the only thing I have to complain about and the oven. Our Cozy cabin in Oak Shores with 2 bedrooms, including 1 queen bed and 2 full beds. This cool retreat features a living room with a comfy futon for extra guests. Enjoy the convenience of all your comfort amenities: washing machine, AC, and WiFi during your stay. With 2 bathrooms equipped with a hair dryer, body wash and shampoo and conditioner you'll feel right at home. We hope you enjoy what our place and all the lake and Paso Wine Country has to offer.
- "We had an amazing stay in this Oak Shores House! We stayed for my daughters 2nd birthday and had an amazing time. The kitchen is bigger than I could have dreamed and accommodated all of our cooking. The bedrooms were very spacious and our truck/ trailer/ boat fit out front just fine. We had plenty of towels and pans and everything we needed at the house - everything we'd forgotten was stocked by the host, thank goodness! The community offers a pool and park and private launch ramp which was just perfect for our family with a small child. I'm glad we stayed here instead of a cabin at Nacimento, it was much less crowded and we had many more amenities. We will definitely be staying here again and would recommend this house 10/10!"

- "The property was accurately depicted and even more beautiful than pictures could capture. Great for an escape but a short drive to downtown Paso Robles and even shorter to vineyards. The host was very responsive and proactive and provided a lovely tour of the property as well as great historical context to the property. I would definitely recommend and will be staying again. We enjoyed watching the sunset and playing pool, bonus points for being dog friendly and spending the morning watching the cows."

Due to limited parking we must strictly enforce the number of vehicles allowed at Tree House to 3. If you are bringing a boat or watercraft, prior to check in, you will need to launch it at Lake Nacimiento Resort and Marina and then drive the boat over to one of our private boat docks at LandsEnd. (Lake Nacimiento Resort fee’s will apply for parking and launching) A map is available upon request. There is no room to maneuver or park a boat/watercraft trailer at LandsEnd, so trailers of any kind are not allowed on the property. We recommend parking your trailer at the Resort/Marina. Please note that LandEnd is in no way responsible for your trailer while at the Resort/Marina. Launching and trailer parking fees will apply through Lake Nacimiento Resort and Marina.
If you’ve been on mussel-infested waterbodies (i.e. Lake Castaic, Pyramid and Piru) within the last 30 days you will not be permitted to launch. Sacramento- San Joaquin Delta and San Luis Reservoir have been added to the list!
Boat Docks at Property:
Lake water level is regularly fluctuating, the dock assigned to the Treehouse is dock 3 and it is located in the cove on the west side of the property. This dock is accessed by walking down a few flights of concrete steps. For a more current description please message us.
Note – Only one watercraft or boat per unit can be stored at our docks. If you have more than one watercraft, you must first talk to the onsite caretaker to see if there is room for an additional craft.
Winter Guests – The heat source in the Tree House is a series of space heaters and two mini splits (located in two of the bedrooms). Due to extreme fire hazard, the wood stove is not to be used.
IMPORTANT Information – After reserving you will be sent a link (via message or email) to sign our Renter Agreement. This will be required before you are given entry to the property.
Before your arrival to the property, you will receive an email from Lakefront at LandsEnd that will provide you with additional information about your stay. Be sure to keep a lookout for the email as sometimes it can go into the spam folder. If you do not receive the email within 5 days of your stay, please contact LandsEnd. Enjoy your stay!

****** Note- ***Country house, Country MOUSE! Rural Cabin is surrounded by thousands of acres. It is in the the territory of critters, NOT the other way around. Our maids are the best. OUR home is sterile & immaculate. Country Mice like the protection of a structure so they burrow into walls despite setting traps. Due to the large population of Raptors =Hawk, Eagles, etc. which eat mice we do not poison as ALL Poison kills the bird or animal that eats it. Booking this property states an understanding & acceptance of this. No refunds.
