Our large two-bedroom upstairs unit has a rural environment, but is less than two miles to downtown Paso Robles and within easy reach of many wineries. The rental is approx. 1500 sq. ft. and comprises the entire upstairs of the owners' home, with its own separate entrance from the large backyard. There are two bedrooms, each with a queen-sized bed and attractive dormer windows. The large living room has comfy sofas, a flat screen TV (with Netflix, Amazon Prime video, Hulu) and DVD player ...a perfect place to relax after a day of wine tasting. There is one bathroom with a large shower, and a charming breakfast area which looks out over the owners' small vineyard and a view of rolling hills.
Spend the day wine tasting or taking a trip to the coast (Morro Bay, Cambria, Hearst Castle), and return to a large relaxing space to prepare for a visit to one of our excellent downtown restaurants for dinner. Sit outside at the patio table or by the fireplace, and watch the sunset as you enjoy a glass of wine.

Our cozy vibes studio is perfect if your looking to experience everything San Luis Obispo has to offer. Centrally located, and walking distance to downtown, Madonna Inn, High Street Deli, Meadow Park, Vulture Peak Trail Head, and SloDoCo Donut. The unit has an adjustable queen size bed, Roku TV, free wifi, heating and air conditioning, kitchenette, bath, couch, coffee table/desk combo, dresser, and private outside seating area and a turntable with vinyl records.

The entire property has three homes and one garage spanning between South St. and Branch St. Cozy Studio Vibes is a tiny home that sits at the end of the long driveway. I have a studio below my house that I rent out. It’s super cute. Has a queen bed and a queen futon. I can also add a single chair that folds into a bed or a queen blow up mattress. One bathroom with shower. No kitchen but mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker.
Exactly one mile from the pier, one block from the beach.
It’s walking distance to the pier/downtown but just far enough to not be among the chaos.

We just moved out and the upstairs is now a rental so you may hear the guests upstairs.
No smoking of anything anywhere on the property.

We can finally allow dogs! Must be friendly and get along with other dogs as the upstairs may have one or two. There is a $50 pet fee per pet/per reservation.

- "Our stay was fantastic! The room was located a short 5 minute walk from the beach and a mile from downtown Cayucos. There were many great amenities, a coffee pot, coffee cups, tea bags, utensils, mini-fridge with ice and a pitcher of water, towels, shampoo, conditioner, a bed and a bowl for the dog, and a bottle of wine and three bottles of water (and more). The futon was already made into a bed for the teens. The yard was well maintained and included a couple of chairs to relax in. Our dog enjoyed running around the yard and playing when we weren't walking on the beach or wandering around downtown. There was an outside shower to rinse off sand (much needed and appreciated, especially on the first day when our dog ran chest deep into the ocean). We never heard anyone upstairs. We especially enjoyed the ocean breeze through the windows throughout the day that kept the room cool and comfortable."

The main living space is decorated in beautiful custom furniture sourced from the owners’ travels around the world. A sofa and two chairs, plus dining table that can double as a desk/workspace make this a fun and inviting space. There is an indoor kitchenette that includes full size refrigerator, two burner cooktop, sink, food preparation space and all the essentials needed for preparing your yummy meals. Outdoors in a covered patio, there is a full oven/stove range and washer and dryer available for guest use. These outdoor appliances are shared use with the other downstairs apartment.
Walk back towards the bedroom and bathroom where you are hit with full panoramic views of the Morro Bay coastline. On clear days the famous Rock is featured front and center!

Look out for the rooster motifs that celebrate the village's famous wandering birds, and which can be found everywhere from cushions to shelf brackets. Much else here is traditional as well, including an antique dresser converted to a modern vanity. Architectural style is modern farmhouse, as inspired by the historic home.

Please note, due to design features and antiques, this space is not appropriate for children, pets or babies. Also, renovations to the main home are ongoing, so expect projects on the weekends downstairs. Come say hello!

You will have your own private entrance to the property, and you'll have two private decks. Please note that it is an upstairs unit. If you require laundry, we are happy to make that happen- just let us know.

We will assume that you'd like your privacy, so we will not interact unless you ask. But we are very available by text to answer any questions, deal with concerns, or give suggestions of what to see, do, and eat. We will usually be on site working on a project or doing the "family thing", so we can deal with any issues that might arise very quickly.

The guesthouse is in the village of Arroyo Grande, in the Cherry Creek Estates. The neighborhood is very pedestrian friendly, and people come from all over to walk their dogs, ride their bikes, or just stroll and enjoy the quaint community.

We are just a short walk to the Village of Arroyo Grande, which has all kinds of restaurants, shopping, and services. Some notable places to dine are Mason Bar and Kitchen, Rooster Creek Tavern, Gina's Italian Restaurant, Jaffa Cafe, and McClintocks. By car, it's a 5-minute drive to Pismo Beach and Oceano State Beach, and a 15 minute drive to Avila Beach. Award-winning wineries are nearby: Laetitia Winery is 5 minutes south, and Talley Vineyards Tasting Room is 5 minutes East. A bunch of Edna Valley wineries are 5-15 minutes away.

If you require public transportation, the South County Transit bus stop is in the Village. Local taxi service is available, and Uber drivers are active in the area.

Enchanting beachfront apartment with open and breezy floor plan in the center of it all! This recently remodeled unit features all new furniture and fixtures, new cabinets with tile counters, and a chic carport lounge (shared with our other rental unit) overlooking Cayucos Beach. An ideal suite for travelling couples and anyone seeking an oasis in the heart of California's last true beach town.

The space
The apartment building was rumored to have been built by legendary architect Julia Morgan, as a way station for workers and visitors to the (then) newly constructed Heart Castle. The units sit across a courtyard from Schooners restaurant, offering a lively ambiance and opportunities for schmoozing with the locals.

Other things to note
The Carport Lounge is a shared space for all guests to enjoy (we have two units). It comes equipped with beach towels and toys, as well as post-beach puzzles and games for everyone!

On very rare occasions you may hear a little activity from the restaurant next door, but the restaurant is usually quiet by or before 10pm.

During the summer months, our restaurant next door features live music on Saturday and Sundays. These shows are free to our guests - and to you too! - and can sometimes bring in a decent crowd. The music is always done by 8pm, so it shouldn't interfere with your sleeping hours.
