-The studio apartment is on the 2nd floor. It is a wide stairway but does require climbing a flight of stairs for access.
-The apartment is in a separate building from our home, but it is on the same property as our home.
-The property is rural; we highly advise planning to arrive during daylight hours. It is very difficult to navigate the rural setting for the 1st time after dark. Most guests have no difficulty once they have made the trip for the first time. NOTE: Access is available at any time of arrival, but owners may not be reachable for assistance via app or phone after 9:30 pm.
-The property is roughly 45 minutes from Paso Robles, the nearest urban center. There are no gas stations or grocery stores after you leave Paso Robles. Please come prepared.
-If bringing a boat or trailer, please call or message. There is plenty of parking space, but due to recent weather events and ongoing road repairs. Please call us for a current update, and we are happy to provide updates and provide assistance with lake directions, etc.
-Boating on Lake Nacimiento requires appropriate boat stickers, licensing, and mussel inspections. Guests bringing boats are responsible for compliance. Please feel free to contact us with questions.

Our large two-bedroom upstairs unit has a rural environment, but is less than two miles to downtown Paso Robles and within easy reach of many wineries. The rental is approx. 1500 sq. ft. and comprises the entire upstairs of the owners' home, with its own separate entrance from the large backyard. There are two bedrooms, each with a queen-sized bed and attractive dormer windows. The large living room has comfy sofas, a flat screen TV (with Netflix, Amazon Prime video, Hulu) and DVD player ...a perfect place to relax after a day of wine tasting. There is one bathroom with a large shower, and a charming breakfast area which looks out over the owners' small vineyard and a view of rolling hills.
Spend the day wine tasting or taking a trip to the coast (Morro Bay, Cambria, Hearst Castle), and return to a large relaxing space to prepare for a visit to one of our excellent downtown restaurants for dinner. Sit outside at the patio table or by the fireplace, and watch the sunset as you enjoy a glass of wine.

• Please take care to drive slowly when approaching the property. We have two small dogs and a cat that reside here. They may be outside when you arrive. There are often deer and other wildlife as well.

We are literally above Paso Market, which is itself very new, and is a collection within an open space of a great coffee shop, a remarkable bakery, an excellent and unusual cheese shop, and a wine tasting plus veggie-forward food shop. Nice outdoor seating also available in a grassy courtyard. All just at Spring St, (a main drag), but our unit was back off the street and there was no street noise. Very highly recommended. Walking distance to the Square."

The apartment is a 2-bedroom, 1 bath private flat with direct street access on Vine St. Furnished with top of the line mid-century furniture, stainless appliances, espresso machine, and large flat screen TV with streaming. The size is approximately 900sf in an open plan with brand new renovation.

Guest access
Prior to your arrival, we’ll send details with the electronic access code for entry at your convenience. A private terrace / yard space in front of the unit is available for your use, and street parking is available few steps from the door. We have new hedges added for guest’s privacy but it will take a bit for them to fill in. In the meantime, there an unobstructed view out into Vine Street. :)

Ella’s vineyard is right across the street if you’re attending a wedding there, this is a perfect Airbnb.

A large balcony that looks over the 20 acre property and 15 acre working vineyard. Prepare to soak in sunshine by day and search for shooting stars by night. The home features central heating and air, new finishes, and new appliances. Two parking spaces are also provided outside of the unit and street parking is available nearby.

The house has a Smart TV. Feel free to use our Netflix account which is already logged in. There is no cable at the house, but feel free to download or access any of the available apps, such as YouTube, Amazon, or news apps.

While we do have a coffee maker, we are no longer offering coffee, sugar, and cream due to current health and safety concerns.

Sometimes there is an additional trash pick up on Friday mornings for the local businesses nearby.

Located two blocks from the city park which is in the center of downtown. This puts you within easy walking distance to many very good restaurants and wine tasting rooms. Our central location is within an easy (20+/- minute) driving distance to the eastside and Westside Wineries within the Paso Robles Appellation.

Enjoy a beautiful 30 minute drive to the beach in Cambria and continue north or south on Highway 1 for spectacular scenery. Tour Hearst Castle, marvel at the elephant seals at San Simeon, or hike Fiscalini Ranch along the ocean in Cambria, or any number of hikes in San Luis Obispo County. Kayak, bike ride, golf, or explore the tide pools at Morro Bay and Montana De Oro State Park. Take a harbor cruise through Morro Bay and walk and shop along the Embarcadero. Visit nearby Lake Nacimiento or Santa Margarita Lake for a hike, fishing or boating.
