Our goal is to provide our guests with a safe environment and peace of mind.

We pride ourselves in providing a spotless environment for our guests. We will continue to clean using our regular procedures and check lists.

New Protocol: However, in light of COVID-19 we have instituted a rigorous sanitization and disinfection protocol beyond just cleaning. We are following the guidelines from the Centers For Disease Control (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO), Vacation Rental Management Association (VRMA) and the Health Department of San Luis Obispo County.

We will disinfect all surfaces (e.g. tables, hard-backed chairs, doorknobs, light switches, remote controls, handles, desks, toilets, sinks, appliances, cookware, faucets, clothes hangers, furniture and beds).

Products: We only use sanitizing and disinfecting products recommended by the CDC.

Added Precautions: During this time we will be removing many items from the Cottage for our guests’ protection like: extra soft decorative pillows and extra lap robes. In addition, all the extra sets of dishes, glassware, table linens and kitchen utensils will be stored until they can be safely returned. There will be plenty of available cookware and utensils to enjoy fine meals. The DVDs, books and game collections have be stored temporarily, but are available upon request.

What do you need: Let us know if you have special requests and we will be happy to provide them for you. We will be providing masks and hand sanitizer for our guests.

Time between guests: We now will schedule at least 48 hours between guest visits.

No contact check-in and check out: Guests will be able to check in and check out without any person-to-person contact.

Please know that we are taking extra time disinfecting & cleaning our cottage after every guest. We have also purchased a Automizer for extra precaution. It is an industrial grade sprayer we use with a disinfectant solution between each guest. As the owner I do most all of the cleaning myself with the highest standards. Our top priority is our guests health & well being. From the gate you enter to the keys you pick up when you arrive and everything else in between.
So come and enjoy this very quiet country cottage located on a dead end street. It is set on an acre so you feel a little country atmosphere but it is still located close to town. This cottage is equipped with all of the things you need to make you feel right at home.
The back yard is large & nicely fenced for pets & children. There is a fire pit including plenty of firewood & two BBQ's, one gas
& one Weber.

I do like guests to know
that there is only one bathroom in the cottage and it is located in one of the bedrooms.

With Montana De Oro State Park just a few minutes away makes for a great place to come and enjoy all of your favorite outdoor activities. The park is filled with many great hiking trails to explore as well as mountain biking trails. It is also a nice place to take a walk down to the beach & discover the tide pools and maybe even a picnic. Montana De Oro is a perfect place for just relaxing and enjoying a beautiful environment.

Morro Bay and Cayucos are just a few minutes away where you will find great fresh fish markets, restaurants & shopping.
If you enjoy surfing Morro Bay and Cayucos have some great spots such as the Morro Rock. Cayucos also has a wonderful off leash dog beach that goes for miles.

The central coast is well known for some of the best wineries in California. The wineries start in Paso Robles and run all the way down to Santa Barbara County. So take some time to stop & do some tasting along the way.
If you enjoy taking a beautiful afternoon drive you can head North up Hwy 1 to see the elephant seals or tour the remarkable Hearst Castle in San Simeon .

You’ll hear very little traffic or neighborhood noise because you are tucked away behind our main house in your secluded setting. Walk 7 blocks to the Embarcadero/Bay, downtown is 3 blocks, and Morro Rock 1.5 beautiful miles.

SPACE
Inside you’ll quickly see the freshly updated decor and super clean Cottage. The 800 sq ft space is great for 1 or 2 couples or a small family. Both bedrooms are comfortable and cozy. Primary bedroom has a Queen bed, primary bath with tub/shower and 2nd smaller bedroom has a double bed. 1/2 bath is in the hallway. Large closets in each bedroom to store clothes and gear. The comfy living room is inviting to kick back, open up the windows and feel the breeze. We offer verified high-speed internet, Roku cable TV or sign into your streaming accounts, plenty of books, puzzles, cards and games for your entertainment. The fully equipped new kitchen has granite counters and appliances and is well stocked for your culinary needs.

You can take off on foot anytime from 'The Cottage'. We are on the west side of Hwy 1, so easy access to groceries, library, downtown, Farmers Market, restaurants, wine tasting, Embarcadero shops and Scout Coffee are all just a few blocks away.

Public transportation is available from Morro Bay throughout the County, also Morro Bay Transit and Morro Bay Trolley (seasonal) locally.

First I want to share this common remark that is contained in many of the reviews from past guests. They find when walking into the cottage that my online pictures have not done it justice. Also the cottage is more roomier than they pictures portray.

Monthly rentals are at a huge rent discount so if staying 30 days or more please inquire about the rate. Also when staying over 30 nights be sure to tell Vrbo that there is no transient tax. They need to make an adjustment in the amount they collect.

Serenity! (description of current guest staying 15 days) One bedroom with queen bed, kitchen, bathroom with shower and a living room with a small dining area. Three houses to the beach. Perfect for two guests new sofa is not a sleeper. Cottage is located behind the main house which is a vacation rental, however a large patio is in between the two units. Spacious bedroom is located on back side of cottage so that sleeping environment is very quiet. The large house located in front has been on VRBO/ HomeAway for more than 10 years and it has received 5 star reviews, please look at property number 803849.
Parking is at outside of the gate along the fence when the main house is rented, however, when the main house is vacant the parking is in the driveway.
The cottage is fully equipped with kitchen appliances ,no conventional oven, however, has a portable convection oven, dinnerware, paper products and linens. Two beach chairs are supplied for your convenience. An outside heated shower lets you wash off all the beach sand. Walking to the beach is 3 houses to Pacific St. turn right walk 3 houses over and there is the beach access. Walking on the beach at Cayucos is so relaxing. To the pier and downtown is a short walk.
Accommodates 2 guests limit only. If more than 2 people stays then fee will be taken from damage deposit. I have found with all my guests in the main house that they are careful not to break anything and there has been no theft which is the only things that are covered with the non refundable insurance policy. I have only deducted from the damage deposit 3 times for excessive dirtiness so 99% of the time the traveler has their full damage deposit returned. I have found it necessary to return to the $300.00 after lowering it to $100.00 due to the fact I recently had a guest reserve the cottage knowing that it has a two person limit and she had 4 sleeping in the cottage for 7 days. Pets are allowed which is $100.00 per pet. Please answer the question on the reservation page that you will be traveling with a pet. Send me a message if you have more than one pet staying. Dog must not be vicious and must be friendly with people and other dogs since the main house may have guests with dogs. Must have been flea and tick treated within 14 days of stay.

This quaint and charming guest cottage occupies one-half of the original farmhouse on the Claiborne & Churchill Winery and Vineyard property. It has been lovingly restored in 2015, with new appliances, flooring and furnishings. Each of the two bedrooms is furnished with a queen-size bed, bed-side tables and lamps. There is (free) WiFi throughout the cottage. The living room features a wall-mounted flat-screen TV, comfortable chairs and a large couch. In the farmhouse kitchen there is a dining table with four chairs, a double sink, and ample cupboard space, as well as a (new) electric range and oven, microwave, coffee maker and toaster. Sitting on the deck as the sun went down behind us, we enjoyed the treetop views and the breeze on a truly HOT weekend. Iced tea tastes better in a cushioned chair outdoors. And when it was too much, the cottage was so cool and comfy. We also were able to hear the headliner concerts over at the fairgrounds, if we wanted to sit outside and listen. All the amenities we needed were available. Check in was easy. It was clean and cozy. The layout of the cottage is so ingenious, and our early riser and late sleeper were both happy. The bed was clean and comfortable. The shower is beautiful, though the water pressure was not great (kind of like at home…). The cottage is positioned so perfectly for getting to all the things the area has to offer. We drove through wine country in a couple different directions, made a quick trip to Cambria, headed east of Paso Robles, then drove to Lake Nacimiento on our way out of town. This was a great trip, a wonderful place to stay, and the hosts were so helpful in making this a “home base” for us!"

We keep busy schedules, and can only accommodate check-in arrivals between 4:00-8:00pm, so please keep that in mind and make sure that works for your schedule prior to making the reservation. Should you like privacy and seclusion, we are happy to oblige (the casita is perfect for this), but if you prefer more interaction, we are happy to tell you about the highlights of the area and make suggestions on where to eat and what to do, perhaps over a glass of wine!
The Neighborhood: We live in a quiet neighborhood, conveniently located minutes away from The Village of Arroyo Grande, San Luis Obispo, good restaurants, beaches and wineries. Easy 2.5 mile access to the Hwy 101.

NO PETS allowed - no exceptions, so please don't ask. We keep our guest accommodations as pet-free zones due to family sensitivities and allergies.
NON-SMOKERS ONLY - Absolutely NO SMOKING inside the casita or anywhere on the property (including electronic cigarettes/vaping). Family members have severe allergies and we are surrounded by dry brush, especially with the drought. Please take this into account if you decide to stay with us.
Please remove your shoes at the door (a basket is provided to store them inside).
Quiet hours are between 9:00pm - 8:00am.
No parties -- zen and peacefulness are your guidelines. Only registered guests allowed on the property.

Getting Around: We are located halfway between Los Angeles (LAX) and San Francisco (SFO). We are less than 8 miles to San Luis Obispo Airport and less than 4 miles to the Amtrak Station in Grover Beach. We have easy access to the Hwy 101, with almost no traffic, so getting anywhere off the 101 is uncomplicated.
Other Things to Note: So much to do! Hiking, biking, surfing, kayaking, fishing, yoga, golfing, Cal Poly Performing Arts (PAC), local music events, food events, wine tasting...Location is minutes to beaches, hiking trails, factory outlet shopping, Village of Arroyo Grande, downtown San Luis Obispo, Cal Poly, Pismo Beach, and Avila Beach. Within less than 10 miles from 22+ wineries, plus hundreds more in Avila, Paso Robles, Santa Ynez, Santa Barbara.
For Cyclists: lots of trails and back roads to ride, or you could even ride to the wineries. And the casita has a large covered area for stowing your bikes!
1.25 hours to San Simeon to see Elephant seals and Hearst Castle.1 hour to the Danish village of Solvang; in the summer you can enjoy the outdoor theatre. Did you forget something? No problem! CVS is 2 minutes up the road, and Trader Joe's is 5. Our fully equipped chef's kitchen comes with everything you need to enjoy meals at home, and the outside BBQ might have one of the best views of any BBQ in California.

The home is a contemporary design reflecting the owners' international travels and has all the comforts of home including high quality freshly ironed bed linen, towels, bathroom supplies, hair dryer and plenty of wardrobe space.

Super efficient heating & a/c. Filtered water. High speed WiFi on a property that is to all intents and purposes 'off the grid' and self-sufficient. We try to keep our environmental footprint to a minimum.

Outside there are 13 acres grazed by deer, horses, cattle, sheep and llamas which guests can walk around. Guests are also welcome to use the bocce ball court which might have the best views from the court anywhere.

We live on the property, and will welcome you with a package of local delicacies along with a native's knowledge of things to do in the area. Let us know if its beach, mountains, towns, wineries, trails, riding, shopping, dining, drinking you are looking to indulge in. We're confident we can give you great local recommendations and we have also arranged some special packages with local wineries, olive oil producers and coffee roasters.

We are lucky enough to have lived all over the world, and chose to return here as the closest place to paradise for modern living that we can find. The fact that one of us was born here didn't hurt either!

Also, we always buy travel insurance. Between Pandemics, natural disasters, unexpected health issues and airline calamities it’s always possible that travel plans get disrupted. The cost per trip is minimal and annual polices are also relatively inexpensive. We’ll always work with you if life happens while you’re making other plans, but having travel insurance is great piece of mind.

WELCOME to our home! This charming guest home is in the center of Arroyo Grande and less than a 10-minute drive to the best beaches, shopping and wineries that California has to offer. This spacious cottage is a great base to explore all the natural beauty on the Central Coast.

We accept one smaller doggie guest with the understanding that you and your furry loved one will take care of the home like it was your own.

The guest home has a large living space, a separate bedroom and one bathroom. It is approximately 550 sq. feet and will accommodate a max of four guests comfortably. The kitchen is fully stocked and set up for cooking with a full refrigerator, oven and microwave. Dining area set up with a table and chairs for having a great meal or doing some work. The living area has a couch with can be made into a queen bed and a comfortable chair for relaxing. There is also a charming patio for coffee in the morning or to drink wine and relax and unwind after a long day.

The home has its own separate entrance and patio with street parking. The unit does have a shared wall with the main home and we have taken steps to minimize sounds, however you may occasionally hear us moving around. This home is located in a nice, residential neighborhood so we ask that you be respectful of the area and the neighbors. We have excellent, reliable, unshared Wi-Fi that you can access.

We are happy to give you information about our area and give you some insider tips if you wish or we can give you complete privacy.

ONE BEDROOM:

There is ONE large bedroom with a comfortable queen size bed with a Tempurpedic mattress. There is a dresser, mirrors, and a reading lamp. This also has an entrance to the patio so you can walk outside and enjoy your morning coffee. The ottoman and couch also turn into beds for extra guests or kiddos!

ONE BATHROOM:

The bathroom has a great shower and bathtub with good water pressure. We do have a blow dryer and a full set of towels for your use as well as a shampoo, conditioner, and body soap. The medicine cabinet is also fully stocked with incidentals in case you forgot any necessities like a sleeping mask, toothbrush, toothpaste, makeup wipes, etc.

LIVING AREA:

The living area has a comfy couch, an extra chair, and a Smart TV with ROKU, Peacock, Hulu and Netflix.

KITCHEN

We have a full kitchen with all the items you would require to cook your favorite meal, if you so choose. It is a full-sized refrigerator, dishwasher, coffeemaker, stove, microwave, blender, and wine opener to enjoy any bottles you may have purchased on your adventures.

ABSOLUTELY NO PARTIES OR SMOKING IN THE HOME. We do have a Ring Doorbell on the front door only and it is not monitored unless needed for security purposes.

Your check-in will be accomplished via Keypad Deadbolt and ring doorbell camera. Your stay will be in our private, 1 Bedroom, 1 Bath, approximately 850 square foot, stand-alone granny cottage.

As you enter the abode you are greeted by the warm and inviting colors of our Southwest – Native American Heritage motif. This is the large open and airy Living Space with its vaulted ceilings & skylights. There is a 55” flat screen TV. Amazon eero mesh Wi-Fi & Charter/Spectrum High Speed 300 mbps Internet. There are also a CD player w/radio, books, card games, couch, daybed, chair and ottoman.

On the left is the spacious kitchen and small dining area that is equipped with almost everything you’ll need to prepare your own culinary delights. 20 cubic foot Refrigerator/Freezer, Dishwasher, Microwave, Coffee Maker, Coffee and filters, Gas Cook-Top, New Electric Oven, new pots & pans and more…. and there’s a ton of storage space for your own delectable goodies. We also have a Beach GO-Bag and Pic-Nic basket for you to borrow for those exploration destinations.

The bathroom has a big shower stall equipped with safety bars (no tub). You will also find a hairdryer, soap and shampoo and plenty of clean towels.

The large bedroom is decorated in a tropical island theme with its King Size platform bed (Firm) and huge mirrored closet. Open the slider to access the large smi-private patio. The patio offers sweeping easterly views of our two and a half acre ranchita and Poorman Canyon. Great place to sip wine and enjoy our almost nightly sunsets.

The Chalet is equipped with central heating (no A/C) with programmable thermostat, and ceiling fans in both living-room and bedroom.

All of this is within hiking distance of the charming village of Arroyo Grande.

To remain completely transparent in my listing I want to disclose to future guests that there is a small construction project underway next door that could impact the normal tranquility we enjoy here in the canyon. Fortunately, the worst part has passed so minimum disturbances can be expected. My apologies ahead of time for the inconvenience.

Sleeping Accommodations
The Chalet is equipped with 1 King Bed, 1 Twin Daybed, and a six foot couch, and can sleep (3)three adult comfortably, (4)four adults in a pinch. Pricing is the same for 1-4 adult guests, however, please inform us of the number of guests that will be booked into the Chalet so we can provide the proper level of amenities.

When booking your reservation please be sure to add names and contact information for all guests in your party, especially if you will be arriving at different times.

The Chalet is part of a three-building compound, the main house, garage/guestroom/sunroom, and the Chalet. Residing on the property, I can be available to accommodate any questions or needs that may arise during your stay, but also far enough away to ensure our mutual privacy. This is not a "party house". We prefer to rent to, responsible, friendly people and open our doors to all!
As Chez Chalet Ritz is “A Work in Progress” we must limit guest access to the Chalet and 2-acre Rachita. The barnyard is off limits to guests.
Golden Hawk Lane is a shared access private road that services two other residencies other than our own. My neighbors ask that you please respect their privacy and not enter their property at 875 & 885 GHL. Thank You

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally located cottage in downtown SLO. The cottage is light and airy, with all the essentials minus the clutter. Bonus points if you find the original 1930’s milk door!

Great location for visiting Cal Poly; walking or biking to our town’s famous Thursday evening Farmer’s Market; or getting away for a long weekend of hiking, mountain biking or wine tasting (all within 10 minutes of the cottage).

The cottage is in close proximity to some great local coffee shops (Field Day and Skippers) and downtown restaurants. Easy bike ride into downtown or a 10 minute walk.

Get a good night’s rest on our new mattresses. Both rooms have blackout curtains and new bedding.

Can ride directly out to Poly Canyon/Stenner Creek mountain bike trails.

The dining area doubles as a work space with a small table and outlets nearby.

We purchased the cottage in 2013 and have been enjoying upgrading it while maintaining some of the original 1930’s charm.

This comfortable 2 bedroom cottage has a full kitchen with dining area. Home is private, sitting back from the street, yet is still very conveniently located just half a block from the Harbor and Embarcadero. There is a good sized fenced back yard with a large patio, horseshoe pit, and charcoal BBQ to enjoy (please bring your own charcoal). A patio table large enough for 6 allows dining, game playing, or just casual lounging while on vacation. This home also has its own private washer and dryer (no coins needed). Both bedrooms have memory foam king beds and the living room has a pull out sofa (double/full) bed. The bathroom is a Jack-and-Jill bathroom, and is located between and adjoins the two bedrooms. Home has one assigned parking space. Free public parking lot is located across the street, and free street parking is also available. The garage is locked and is not available to guests.

Kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed to whip up a delicious meal. A dual Keirug (singles and 12 cup pot) is available for your caffeine needs. Please note that there is no dishwasher. If cooking isn’t your specialty the Morro Bay Embarcadero is just steps away and has many different dining options available.

Dish soap, hand soap, paper towels, trash bags, cleaning supplies, basic cooking supplies, spices, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toilet paper and laundry detergent are all provided for your convenience. You may need to purchase additional supplies for larger parties or extended stays.

Also, we provide all of the following freshly laundered linens for your stay: towels, sheets, pillowcases, pillows, down alternative comforters, and blankets.

A a pack n play with mattress and linens, a booster/highchair seat, and Bumbo chair is available for guest use.

When you are not enjoying the idyllic weather in your own private outdoor spaces, branch out and explore the city’s “municipal country club” just a short walk away. Sinsheimer Park has tennis courts, volleyball, frisbee golf course, baseball fields, a pool, YMCA, playground and parks for you to enjoy.

My home is quiet, clean, comfortable and stylish. Beautiful garden and patio. Remove your shoes upon entering. No children. No animals provide an allergy free environment. Within 15-20 minutes to beaches.The room accommodates 2 people and is conveniently located in a small community less than a mile from highway 101. Bedrooms are on the second floor of my 1,600 square foot single family residence. No kitchen use! Shared bathroom IN HALL. Security cameras outside: front door, walkway and garage.

The space
No Shoes in the house. No animals-I am allergic. No children-I am not set up for children. No kitchen use.

The bedroom is located on the second floor and has one full size bed with a very comfortable mattress. The room is cozy and filled with antiques. The accommodation offers a shared bathroom with a shower and tub. The bathroom is located in the hallway one door away from the room. Foreign travelers - please see a picture of the size dimensions of a “full/double size” bed posted with in photo section. There is a garden and fountain where you are free to enjoy the space for a cup of coffee or tea. No kitchen use! My home is not set up to accommodate children of any age. No food upstairs, you can eat food in the dining table. Cameras are located at the outside door, walkway and garage.

No shoes allowed remove them when you come in.
The door code is provided after you make your reservation and can be used to unlock the door. I allow guests to check in at any time but be mindful that I will not be available for questions after 9pm. I don’t want a low rating because I don’t answer your questions at midnight. If you choose to check in late, you will need to be self reliant. The kitchen and laundry is OFF LIMITS unless you are a long term guest. You may NOT use the kitchen. No food in the bedroom. You can eat take out at the dining or patio table. If you need to do a load of wash I charge $4 a load and you must ask. No animals. No children.

During your stay
I will be available throughout your stay to offer suggestions on what to do in the area. I will also respect your privacy during your stay.

Other things to note
House rules: this room has one full size bed. Please no shoes on the house carpet, no smoking or cologne/perfumes. No children allowed. I do not accept ANY animals. I am severely allergic to animals. I am allergic to cologne and perfume so please do not wear any. Please be conservative with electricity and water. Turn lights off when you leave the room and do not keep water running. Turn porch lights and other lights off when you come in. You will NOT have access to the kitchen or laundry. NO KITCHEN USE. NO food in the rental room. No nudity in common areas. The door code is provided after your reservation is confirmed. Parking is ON THE STREET or in a parking slot (which is first come) . The house number is located on the house and on the arch-way at the sidewalk leading to my home. You can check in at any time but be mindful of other sleeping guests if you are a late arrival. Ask your questions early before 9pm.

Guests may catch a glimpse of our pet Bison from front windows and are welcome to view them in the pasture. Country setting may also allow you to see deer, fox, and hear owl in the evening

Proprietor spent 10 years in hospitality business with Marriott currently a retired Calif. Peace Officer, spouse a retired registered nurse for 43 years. A private, 1 Bedroom, 1 Bath, approximately 850 square foot, stand alone granny cottage, located in rural Arroyo Grande. On our own private lane and just minutes away from award winning wineries, Oceano Dunes, Monarch Butterfly Grove, Pismo Beach, Pismo Outlets, & Pismo Preserve. Avila Beach/Hartford pier. Numerous golf courses. Lopez Lake and San Luis Obispo are just 10-15 minutes from the Chalet. Morro Bay, Montana de Oro and Hearst Castle are short day trips away.

The space
To remain completely transparent in my listing I want to disclose to future guests that there is a small construction project underway next door that could impact the normal tranquility we enjoy here in the canyon. Fortunately, the worst part has past so minimum disturbances can be expected. My apologies ahead of time for the inconvenience.

You will check-in to the home via Keypad Deadbolt. As you enter the abode you are greeted by the warm and inviting colors of our Southwest – Native American Heritage motif. This is the large open and airy Living Space with its vaulted ceilings & skylights. There is a 55” LG flat screen TV. Amazon eero mesh Wi-Fi & Charter/Spectrum High Speed 100 mbps Internet. There are also a CD player w/radio, Books, card games, Couch, Daybed, Chair and ottoman.

On the left is the spacious kitchen and small dining area that is equipped with almost everything you’ll need to prepare your own culinary delights. 20 cubic foot Refrigerator/Freezer, new Dishwasher, Microwave, Coffee Maker, Coffee and filters, Gas Cook-Top, Electric Oven, new pots & pans and more…. and there’s a ton of storage space for your own delectable goodies. Coming soon: Beach GO-Bag and Pic-Nic basket for you to borrow for those exploration destinations.
The Chalet has central heating with programmable thermostat, with ceiling fans in both living room and bedroom that ensure proper ventilation. The large bedroom is decorated in a tropical island theme with its King Size platform bed (Firm) and huge mirrored closet. Open the slider to access the large, Smi-private view patio.

The bathroom has a large shower stall equipped with safety grab bars (no tub). You will also find a hairdryer, soap and shampoo and plenty of clean towels. The large view patio offers sweeping easterly views of our two and a half acre Rachita and Poorman Canyon. Great place to sip wine and enjoy our almost nightly sunsets. All of this within hiking distance of the charming village of Arroyo Grande.

Sleeping Accommodations:
The Chalet is equipped with 1 King Bed, 1 Twin Daybed, and a six-foot couch, and can sleep (3) three adults comfortably, (4) four adults in a pinch. Pricing is the same for 1-4 adult guests, however, please inform us of the number of guests that will be booked into the Chalet so we can provide the proper level of amenities.

The Chalet is part of our family's compound of three separate buildings. The main house, garage/guestroom, and the Chalet. Residing on the property, I can be available to accommodate any questions or needs that may arise during your stay, but also far enough away to ensure our mutual privacy.
This is not a "party house". We prefer to rent to, responsible, friendly people and open our doors to all.
As Chez Chalet Ritz is “A Work in Progress” we must limit guest access to the Chalet and 2-acre Rachita. The barnyard is temporarily off limits to guests.

Other things to note
The home is not secure for children under the age of 6 years.

A word regarding the TV and programming: To keep costs and rents down, there is no cable or satellite programming. There is free internet programming via Pluto TV Internet Television Service that features streaming and on demand programming. There is also an HDMI cable (input 3) pre-installed if you wish to bring your own devices such as a Firestick or Roku. Charter/Spectrum is our 100 mbps ISP, and our Wi-Fi is the Amazon eero mesh system.
If you are going to use any of the pre-programmed apps on the TV, such as Netflix or Prime, be sure to log out of the app when you depart. Chalet Ritz will not be held responsible for any un-authorized use of your accounts.
Please do not try to access the back side of the TV as damage to the wall will most likely occur.

Bella is my 75-pound American Staffordshire Terrier/Boxer mix. She is highly reactive to other dogs, especially mid to large size breed females. She adores children and usually tolerates most adults unless you try to violate her space…. so it would be best to keep a safe distance from the main house and her chain link fence. She will be kept behind locked gates during your stay. The only exception is her off-leash play time in the meadow each day between 4 & 5 p.m. (Take caution if approaching).

Due to the extensive cleaning we have implemented to counter COVID-19, there is a $90 cleaning fee. Please help us keep this fee low by stripping the bed, use the provided wipes to wipe surfaces
and handles, and washing any dishes before you check out. Also, please let us know if you have felt ill, or have been in contact with anyone who didn’t feel well, during your stay.

The tank less water heater supplies 120 degree hot water, unfortunately it may take a little time for the water to run hot.

Please take care walking around the property especially the flagstone walkways, the gophers have dug it up so much that they no-longer lay flat. Future Project 987.
