Adults can enjoy the Sierra Range views from the comfy seating area on the newly stained and renovated decks, great for stargazing, while the kids play cornhole, ladder toss, frisbee toss, soccer, or bocce ball in the large backyard. Sighting wildlife such as deer, turkey, quail, peacock, woodpeckers, and dragonflies will delight the whole group. Pick mulberries from the on-site tree when they're in season, and sprinkle them on your morning pancakes for a special treat.

Inside, you'll find a space just as relaxing. There are 2 separate living spaces, plus another dining/living room that offers lots of room to spread out. "Amazing place to stay. The hike down the waterfall is a little steep but extremely doable. The water is icy cold. But once you’re inside the water you get used to it. The place is clean and there’s a huge patio where you can stargaze at night. Even saw a few shooting stars. When I went outside to drink some coffee I swear a I saw an eagle perch at a tree nearby. Honestly a great experience. Would recommend getting there while."

1. Main door has a Schlage encode deadbolt. You will be provided with the key-code as part of check-in email. In the unlikely event that you get locked out due to Schlage device running out of battery, there is a key placed in lockbox to the right of main door. Please contact SPPM for the lockbox code. The door does automatically lock, so keep the key-code handy. When inside the house, turn the knob to horizontal position. That locks the door for anyone trying from outside.

2. All TVs have inbuilt Roku. You will have to login into your own account on Netflix, HBO or other apps

3. Heating and Air conditioning: All downstairs rooms have Daikin mini-split AC units. These are air conditioning and heating units. To operate, use remote on the wall/nightstands near the units. Simply press the yellow button to turn unit ON. Use ‘Mode’ button to select heating, cooling or auto. Adjust temperature to your desired level. Upstairs AC is slightly different. If you are laying on the master bed, point remote towards the top right of the wall by the door. You will hear a beep and see a green light on the panel. This turns on AC for upstairs bedroom, hallway and bathroom.

4. Outdoor games like ladder toss, frisbee toss, soccer and bocce ball are kept in the laundry room racks. Please put them back once done.

5. Mulberry picking: Every year around the peak of Perseids meteor shower, mulberries ripen on the tree next to back-gate. Feel free to pluck the ripe ones. Ripe mulberries will detach just by a gentle tuck on the fruit. If you must use force, it means the fruit hasn’t ripened yet. Please do not pluck those, else you will just end up with very red juicy hands and a sour tasting fruit.

6. There are beach towels in the laundry room. Please do not take bath towels to the creek.

7. The sliding glass doors have a locking mechanism. Please ensure to lock the sliding doors.

8. PGE has issued warnings for the area that at anytime for any reason, they may decide (beyond our control) to turn the power off if there's any anticipation of fire. We will not be responsible for amenities not available due to power outage.

9. Ponderosa telephone is the internet provider and their DSL service is generally reliable. But you are in a rural area, and internet outages can occur for which we are not responsible.

- NO SHOES and NO PETS on carpets and furnitures.

- Only 1 crate-trained pet less than 45 lbs allowed. Pet Fee will be charged separately $120 per pet per reservation. Any violation to the pet rules will cause $500 deposit to be withheld.

- Quiet Hours start at 9 PM, even if there are no neighbors in sight. Sound travels very far quickly in this forest area. And this forest retreat seats little higher so sound travels even faster. $500 Penalty will be charged from Security Deposit if we receive any alert during Quiet Hours.

- Please enjoy the 3.3-acre outdoor and the 3/4th mile hike to the creek responsibly without throwing food or litter.

- Ample Seating is available but please clean the chair and do not use muddy shoes on the cushions.

Late Checkout:
Any unauthorized late checkout will incur an automatic $50 fee. Any unauthorized late checkout that is 2 hours late or more automatically incurs a fee equivalent of the nightly rate for that unit that night and does not extend your rental period. You will also be responsible for refunding us any amount that we have to refund another guest due to your unauthorized late checkout.

Pets are allowed at an additional cleaning fee of $50 per pet. Please keep the pets off furniture.

○ Backyard: Stunning backyard surrounded by trees and plants. Includes a large 10-person dining table to enjoy meals in nature, a firepit with patio furniture, 6 person jacuzzi, built-in BBQ, additional seating locations, and a hammock for relaxing.

Teaford Meadow Lakes community is home to many local residents. While enjoying yourselves at The A-Frame on Toku, please be mindful of and respectful to our lovely neighbors. No parties, large gatherings, or events allowed.

Max Occupancy: 10 guests (regardless of age) unless approved by the host in advance. There is additional space for extra guests (pull out couch and pull out futon). Message host for details before booking. Any unauthorized guests above the max limit will be subject to a fee of $600 per person and may lead to immediate termination of your booking.

Pet-Friendly: The A-Frame on Toku welcomes up to 2 house-trained dogs (under 60lbs). Please be sure to include your pet(s) in your reservation ($75 dog fee per stay). Dogs must be house-trained, kept off of furniture/beds, and attended to at all times. Please pick up after your pet and keep them on leash when outside of the house. Guests will be responsible for any damages caused by pets.

Parking: The large circular driveway provides plenty of parking for guests (approx 3-4 vehicles). The attached garage can fit one vehicle. Street parking is also available to guests - please be mindful not to block the road as the streets of the neighborhood are small.

Security & Safety
○ Outdoor security cameras are located around the entrances and driveway for your safety. Backyard camera does have a view of the hot tub, but it may be turned off while in use for your privacy. No indoor cameras.
○ No trespassing on neighboring properties. This is a family-friendly, quiet neighborhood — please respect local residents and drive slowly.
○ For your safety, the hot tub is use-at-your-own-risk. No lifeguard on duty.
○ Travel Insurance: We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect against unexpected delays, illness, or weather-related changes.

- "Matt was an amazing host & quickly responded to all my messages. The house is absolutely gorgeous. Lots of room for the entire family. This host paid attention to the smallest details making this stay above any other cabin we have rented. The beds & pillows were so comfy. No need to bring extra pillows or blankets they had plenty. This place was incredibly comfortable & had so much stuff to do both inside & outside. From the large outdoor dining & firepit to the awesome yard games we enjoyed (even my 70yr old parents played the yard games & the arcaded games). The gameroom was a hit for the teen boys & basically the entire family. I highly recommend this place! It’s about a 7 min drive to bass lake where we did boating, tubing & fishing. Small cozy cabin with amazing views of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. This property is located about 5-10 minutes from Bass Lake and just up the road from the smaller Manzanita Lake. Located right just a 10-15 minutes from HWY 41, Manzanita Cabin is the perfect starting point for you to start your Yosemite National Park adventure. The cabin has a nice spacious deck to sit out morning or evening time to enjoy the amazing views.

- "The deck was amazing to enjoy a hot cup of coffee, a nice quiet family lake less than a" - "The house seemed unfinished but then when looking closer, the wear and tear makes it seem like it’s used all the time by guests. Deadbolt on the front door doesn’t work. There are no towel racks in the bathroom (plenty of space for one or two) and the kitchen was filthy. Just one old sponge which we had to use to rewash dishes. The TV wasn’t working because the HDMI cable was busted. There also was no cellular signal which made not having WiFi at the place a bummer. The bed was comfy and the back porch was wonderful with a beautiful view of the mountains. I recommend this place above renting an RV because of the additional space but don’t expect a palace."

We are 25 miles from the small town of North Fork! This is the closest area for groceries, gas, and restaurants.

We are also within 50 miles of Yosemite National Park, Bass Lake, and Mammoth Pools!

Private gate entry with free parking at the lodge. We are located just past the historic Jesse Ross Cabin. Smartphone maps don't always play nicely with our address. We recommend that you enter the location of the Jesse Ross Cabin in your map, we are just a short 0.7 miles further North on Mammoth/Minaret Road.

Pets are allowed at an additional cleaning fee of $50 per pet.
Rental Agreement: We ask that all guests sign our short-term rental agreement. It is very simple and includes the rental duration, agreed upon price, and limitations to liability due to our location in nature.

Late Checkout:
Any unauthorized late checkout will incur an automatic $50 fee. Any unauthorized late checkout that is 2 hours late or more automatically incurs a fee equivalent of the nightly rate for that unit that night and does not extend your rental period. You will also be responsible for refunding us any amount that we have to refund another guest due to your unauthorized late checkout.

Pets
Pets are allowed at an additional cleaning fee of $50 per pet. Please keep the pets off furniture.

Rooms could have used more cobweb dusting. Outside was not convenient to sit outside on patio, weeds in front of house were overgrown and not pleasing especially to allergies. Kitchen table only for 4, but beds in 2nd bedroom could hold 8 more people. Need a better table in kitchen."

Gated yard for our 2 small dogs was perfect. Had everything we needed and more. Great hosts. Will definitely be back."

The space
LIVING AND DINING ROOM

Upon entering the front door, you're greeted with breathtaking views of the mountains, trees, and creek that run on both sides of the house. Statement fireplace made of pure Mariposite. The original tongue and groove vaulted ceilings create a cozy environment for lounging and enjoying the views. We also have an assortment of games available in the living room coffee table. And a large bookshelf with tons of reading material.

KITCHEN
Our kitchen features french door refrigerator, 36 inch electric chef stove and custom hood, kitchen island, hardwood floors, large trapezoid picture windows throughout the kitchen and dining area. Fully stocked to make a homemade meal, a coffee maker and keurig machine.

BATHROOM
Completely remodeled primary bathroom with floor to ceiling tile and a beautiful double vanity. Brand new bathtub and shower, with great water pressure from a private well.


BEDROOMS
The primary bedroom features a king size bed from Modloft a Japandi-/style worth platform bed with luxury linen sheets, duvets, and pillows. Beautiful wood ceilings. Absolutely incredible creek views in the bedroom that must be seen to be believed. Large smart TV on wheels to move into any room.

Secondary bedroom has a queen bed with luxury linens sheets and more great views of Whiskey Creek, custom wood slat headboard and small desk for working.

OUTDOORS
Round patio table with umbrella and 4 chairs on the deck including comfortable cushioned seating area with a telescope for star gazing. Down below is a picnic table underneath a shaded tree by the creek.

2 mini splits with A/C and HEAT. 1 located in the living room and 1 in the master bedroom. A working fireplace and 2 additional portable heaters as well.

The top floor of the building is all yours but the bottom floor is only used for storage so please refrain from going into the downstairs rooms. Feel free to hang out on the bottom floor veranda outside however. It is quite cozy to listen to the water down there.

Other things to note
Please exercise a healthy level of caution and be mindful of surroundings. The current of the creek is formidable, and wildlife sightings are common. Be aware and avoid areas with poison oak.

WILDLIFE
As in any mountainous setting close to Yosemite NP, wild animals could pass through the property, near to the cabin. Be prepared to see deer, turkeys, rabbits, squirrels, forrest mice, bats and birds. Occasionally, there may be coyotes. Rarely, bears and bobcats can pass through, but they tend to avoid humans.

The HoneyBear A-framed house sits just 20 miles from the south Gate Entrance of Yosemite National Park and a mere 5 minutes from Bass Lake. Nestled in a serene neighborhood amid the National Forest, it offers a tranquil retreat for creating cherished memories with loved ones and serves as an ideal basecamp for your Yosemite adventure. Unwind and enjoy our amenities, including a BBQ, firepit, air conditioning and heating, ping pong table, table games, and hockey table.

The space
The HoneyBear house is a spacious two-story "A" frame cabin with a balcony and large front and back yards. The back yard is mostly flat with a seasonal creek, offering plenty of space to play, relax, and even BBQ. As you enter the property, you'll be greeted by the "Honey Bear" standing tall, surrounded by his friends in the front yard. The house is surrounded by pine trees, giving you that refreshing pine scent. Inside, there are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Two bedrooms are upstairs with a bathroom, while the third bedroom downstairs is ideal for those who can't climb stairs. The master bedroom features two queen size beds, ample space, and a desk for work if needed. The second bedroom has 2 queen beds, and the third bedroom downstairs offers a queen bed and plenty of space for play. The kitchen is spacious and fully equipped for preparing vacation meals. The living room provides ample seating for everyone, with space to play games, relax, and watch movies. There's even a twin sofa bed for nighttime relaxation. You'll find everything you need to make your family feel at home away from home. And did I mention the house is equipped with AC and heating, so you can enjoy comfort during summer days or winter nights? Additionally, we've included a ping pong table, volleyball net, badminton rackets, foosball table, cornhole game, and board games, ensuring there's always something to do during your stay.
