Fully renovated! Five bedrooms and four bathrooms in 3,500 square feet offers room for everyone. This home is located in the quaint town of Bass Lake, just 20 minutes to Yosemite’s southern entrance. Make this spacious lake home your hub for your next vacation. The home boasts an open floor plan and makes a perfect gathering place to bring your family and friends together to connect and create memories.

This home is located in a private community with private beach access. A short walk away, a dock is available for your use next to a private beach and swim area for the neighborhood. This is also a perfect spot to launch your SUP or kayak and enjoy the calm waters of the cove.

Bass Lake offers boating, fishing, and hiking among other activities. We are located on the Pines Village side of the lake which has restaurants, a market, bars, shops and a full-service marina with boat and jet ski rentals. Prior to your stay, you will receive access to our personal guide offering suggestions to favorite restaurants and activities in the area.

Upon entering the home, the large living room welcomes you with a reclining leather couch and ample seating for your family and friends. Sit and enjoy the fireplace while playing a game or enjoy the smart tv. This room is also open to the expansive kitchen which is equipped to provide both space and accessories needed to enjoy preparing a meal together or just hanging out. The house also features a dining area and counter seating. The main floor boasts three of the five bedrooms and three full bathrooms. The second floor houses two bedrooms, one full bathroom and a bonus room, a paradise for both kids and adults alike - keeping the entire family entertained, with bunk beds, a smart tv, and an office space.

For your convenience, an indoor laundry room is available for your use. A washing machine, dryer, iron and board, and cleaning supplies are included.

Additional amenities included are heat/air conditioning, DVD player, WIFI, Keurig and regular coffee maker, dishwasher, all granite countertops, fireplace, propane bbq. For your safety, security cameras monitor the front entrance and driveway.

Guests will have easy access to the home via electronic door lock, Guests will be provided their unique door code prior to arrival. No access to the garage.

Other things to note
Please remember this is the mountains. There are mosquitoes, bats, bugs, and bears. Please remember insect repellent, keep doors closed to keep the bears out, and have a "Great Outdoors" attitude if a bat finds its way into the house. Just please don't break everything as you swing the broom around to swish it back outside!!!

- "Thank you for sharing your home. The house was clean and in perfect condition. Well stocked. The local host was easy to deal with. Check-in and check-out was easy. The location was amazing. The dock and quiet cove on the lake were perfect. We had a great week." - "We loved this house and area! I went with my children and grandchildren and we all agreed that if we come back to Bass Lake we would stay here again. The house was recently remodeled and was beautifully decorated. It is spacious, lots of room upstairs and down and we could easily have had 6 or more people staying with us. There is everything you could want in a well stocked kitchen. Spices galore which my son used to BBQ us dinner every night and plenty of everything else! The back yard patio is a lovely place for morning coffee and watching the hummingbirds. The kids liked the upstairs living area and movies to watch. The private beach is great with a dedicated table, chairs and umbrella for your use so you don't have to lug a bunch of stuff with you and they have a gazillion beach towels so you don't have to pack your own. There is a private dock that we used for a pontoon boat that we rented for a half day in the afternoon and then kept overnight for a half day the next morning. Lots of tubing and fishing! The AC worked great which can sometimes ruin a vacation if it doesn't. The only drawbacks are that the water is not potable in this area so you have to be careful not to accidentally drink it. Plenty of bottled water is provided with pitchers to put in every bathroom so it was really not a problem for us. And there were bear sightings in the area. The owners provide an airhorn for use while walking to the beach etc so we felt ok about it. Really really nice! "

Newly updated 2000 square foot lakefront cabin with amazing views. Two minute drive or 7 minute walk to the Pines Resort, 15 minutes to Oakhurst and just 16 miles to the South entrance of Yosemite. Take in beautiful sunsets on the large deck and enjoy the warm lake water in the summer months (lake levels are dropped considerably in the winter by PG&E. Check basslakeca.com for lake levels). A comfortable master with a king bed and 6 twin beds upstairs make this a perfect place for families and friends to get together and enjoy beautiful Bass Lake, hiking trails, Yosemite, the Pines Resort area, mountain biking and various winter activities.

A game room and wet bar downstairs below the main floor deck includes a bluetooth jukebox, foosball table, video game console, dartboard, sofa, full bath and great lake views.

The kitchen and living room are spacious and all rooms enjoy views of the lake. A bbq and plenty of seating and tables on the deck overlooking the lake make for great entertaining and enjoying the beautiful outdoors.

3 1/2 baths including a master ensuite are plenty to handle guest needs.

Simply walk off the top deck and down to the lakeshore. In the winter, enjoy the beautiful serenity of the area and avoid the crowds. Find a sled hill when it snows, visit Yosemite (beautiful in the winter!), take a hike or just enjoy the warmth of the lakefront cabin in front of the fireplace. We are 1 hour from Badger Pass ski resort and 1 1/2 hours from China Peak ski resort.

The cabin features a whole home generator in case there are power outages in the area (works everything except AC when power grid is out), and central air and heat to keep the house cool during summer and warm during winter and snow season.

The living room is equipped with a new smart TV (Netflix, YouTube TV, Apple TV and Hulu available- personal subscriptions required) and comfortable seating.

Bedding, sheets, towels, toilet paper, paper towels and soaps/shampoos are provided for our guests. A washer and dryer are also available for guest use. Please bring your own beach towels.

Parking is available for up to 4 cars and may be impacted by the size of your vehicle. Instructions regarding boat launching and trailer parking would be included in your welcome/check-in message shortly before your arrival.

Note that the garage and one additional bedroom, not included in this listing, is locked off from September through May for owner storage purposes. - "Great house with a great location on Bass Lake. We met as a family for Thanksgiving and picked this location due to its proximity to Yosemite. It is is about a 20 minute drive to the South entrance and about another 45-60 minutes to the valley floor. The South entrance has great views and pullouts to see along the way of all the big attractions (El Capitan, Half Dome and two of the waterfalls). It was a great location for what wanted. The house is just a few blocks from the center of town where there is a resort, a market, and a few shops. Very easy to walk to restaurants, coffee, the marina, etc.) We stayed when the lake had already been lowered 50% (occurs ever November for PGE power production and to allow for winter runoff.) We were aware of this from the listing so no surprises for us. The house is on one of the coves so do not expect water by the private dock or directly in front of the deck. Even though the lake level was low, there were still nice views of the lake looking to the left. I'm sure the views are absolutely gorgeous in the summer! The house is exceptionally stocked with most everything you would need. I packed all sorts of Ziplock baggies, foil, glad wrap, parchment paper, knives, spices, coffee, and some specialty items for cooking Thanksgiving. They surprisingly had everything I had packed which is not the norm for short term rentals. They even had a meat thermometer and turkey baster! This is a great house and we would stay here again."

This is a charming and comfortable cabin at Bass Lake that is quite secluded on a small hill overlooking the lake. There is one master bedroom and full bath with a California King bed and a TV. The second bedroom is small, with a bunk bed that is twin-sized on top and full-sized on the bottom. (note: there is not a lot of headroom above the top bunk). This bedroom has its own bathroom with a shower, toilet and sink. The living room has a queen-sized Ikea sofa bed (comfy!) and a large smart TV with DVD player. The modern kitchen has a nook that sits 4-6. There is an adjacent library/den area with a table that can be used for dining, game playing, puzzles, crafts, working at your laptop, etc. There is also a desk in the master bedroom. The wifi is fast....good for working remotely, Zoom calls, streaming, etc.

There is a hot tub on the deck that overlooks the lake. The hot tub is especially wonderful at night when all is quiet and the stars are bright. There is a patio table (with umbrella) which is the perfect spot for eating all meals, game-playing, relaxing with a glass of wine, etc. You will definitely spend a lot of time on the deck overlooking the hillside and lake. To the side of the house is a semi- enclosed yard area (not "safe" for pets to be left alone)with a concrete patio and a basketball hoop. Children love to play in this side-yard area (although young children must always be supervised)
It is a 7-minute walk to the lake. The Falls beach area is less than a mile down the road. In the other direction, there are many public beaches within walking distance or just a short drive...just choose one that fits your fancy. If you have young children, the beaches closest to our cabin have lots of shallow areas that are perfect for children to play safely in. The water is a great temperature for swimming during the summer. The Pines Village is 2 miles down the road. There you'll find The Pines grocery store, a gas station, a few restaurants and shops to browse in. There are boat and other rentals available on both sides of the lake as well as a couple of amazing burger, sandwich and ice-cream places (Millers Landing and The Forks).

The town of Oakhurst is just 8 miles away and has a wide variety of restaurants, movie theaters, grocery stores, bowling, etc. There is also good golf, hiking and fishing nearby. And of course, Yosemite is just up the road! It's a 20 minute drive to the southern entrance to Yosemite (and the Mariposa Grove) and then another 40-60 minutes down into Yosemite Valley. Day trips into Yosemite are very easy to do....then come back to soak in the hot tub at night!

This cabin is a perfect retreat for couples who want a quiet get-away. Families love it too!
In the winter, the lake level is down quite a bit. There is snow a few times a year but not regularly. There is usually snow just up the road towards Yosemite, and there are a few snow play areas before you get to the gates of Yosemite, near Fish Camp. There is skiing and snowboarding and snowshoe-ing at Badger Pass inside Yosemite; it's a great family snow play resort.

The house is primarily heated by an efficient wood stove in the living room. The fire will be all ready for you to light a match to once you arrive. It heats the house up fairly quickly, usually within 30 minutes. We provide plenty of firewood on the rack outside the back door. You can set the fire on “low” by moving the lever at the bottom of the stove to the right. This allows less air in, and it will burn slowly. Pile it up with wood during the night, set it on low, and it should stay warm all night long.
The wood stove is a desirable feature for most guests
**HOWEVER, If you don't want to deal with a wood stove, this cabin may not be your best option.

We are pet-friendly and have hosted many happy pooches, but we must approve your pet before final booking. Please let us know the breed, weight and age of your pet. We'll send a pet addendum for you to read and agree to. Depending upon the number of pets and length of stay, the pet fee is $65-$85. This is a separate and additional fee that will be added to your charges.

- "Since I am the guy who always plans the Bass Lake trip, I am the guy who gets to pick where we stay. And quite honestly that’s part of the fun. This year I chose Jeff and Allison’s place in the woods. I knew from the photos it would be a great place but didn’t realize until our arrival how spectacular it actually was. We’re talking about a newly built rustic cabin in the woods. It’s very warm and inviting with a feeling of Americana. It’s well maintained and very clean. The large deck in back along with two large picnic tables make it a great place to spend time outside. We found ourselves saying ‘wow’ on more than one occasion. We chose to cook our own meals and the well appointed kitchen made meal prep and serving a snap. As far as sleeping goes there are a number of bunks and trundles and no shortage of places to put people. There are also plenty of crisp white bath linens which I personally love. Truth be told there’s nothing about this cabin that’s NOT to love. We’ll be back next year!"

The town of Oakhurst is about seven miles away, offering shops, restaurants, bars, a cinema, and a live stage theater of its own. The Chukchansi Casino in Coarsegold is 12 miles away and the southern entrance of Yosemite National Park is only 15 miles away. No dogs allowed. The property owner is severely allergic. Bass Lake is less than 15 miles from the southern entrance of Yosemite National Park. Bass Lake reaches its peak water levels in the summer months and is lowered by 50 percent during the fall and winter months annually. -High-speed internet (please keep in mind you are in the forest and not uncommon for
wifi to drop occasionally) and Wi-Fi.
-Cabin has an automatic generator back up in case of power outages.
-Indoor fireplaces are NOT allowed during county-wide burn bans, which often occur in
the summer and fall months. This is due to heightened fire risk in the area at those
times. However, door BBQ grills are allowed year-round.
-California Highway Patrol may require chains and/or 4-wheel drive with snow tires
during winter and spring months. Please prepare accordingly.
-A $500 fine will be imposed for smoking anywhere on the premises
-DO NOT move or rearrange furniture.
-The total guest count including children and infants may not exceed 7 guests.
-Renter must be 25 years of age. ID will be required at check-in.
-No extra guests than registered upon booking. No outside visitors, please. You will be
charged a nightly rate for extra people at $100 a night per person from your deposit. ----

This gorgeous bass lake home has amazing views inside and out, and features a large private boat dock and covered deck. The home, built in 2015, sits in the highly coveted Lake Shore Park community of Bass Lake. Away from the hustle and bustle of the bass lake resort, you will enjoy the privacy that this area has to offer. This 3600 square foot home boast’s 2 en suite master bedrooms upstairs, 4 bedrooms downstairs, and a full 325 square foot granny nook attached the garage, sleeping a total of 16 people. Upstairs you will find a spacious open floor plan with 180 degree views of the lake. The top floor includes a chef-ready kitchen complete with bar seating and a large dining room table, as well as a living room area and wood fire place.

Out on the top floor deck you will find more gorgeous views with plenty of seating, a gas fireplace, a gas BBQ grill as well as a Traeger grill and pizza oven. Across the street from the cabin you will find a private easement leading down to our private boat dock and covered deck. Bass lake is known for its boating, fishing, swimming, hiking and mountain biking, and we are just 30 minutes from the south gate of Yosemite National Park. You are sure to enjoy our cabin just as much as we do.

The kitchen and living room are spacious and all rooms enjoy views of the lake. A bbq and plenty of seating and tables on the deck overlooking the lake make for great entertaining and enjoying the beautiful outdoors.

4 1/2 baths including two en suite with double sinks are plenty to handle guest needs.

Simply walk off the top deck and down to the lake to the private boat dock, where you can tie up your boat or take a swim. Boat launching is available at the Pines Resort and across the lake (public launch).

In the winter, enjoy the beautiful serenity of the area and avoid the crowds. Find a sled hill when it snows, visit Yosemite (beautiful in the winter!), take a hike or just enjoy the warmth of the lakefront cabin in front of the fireplace. We are 1 hour from Badger Pass ski resort and 1 1/2 hours from China Peak ski resort.

The cabin features a whole home generator in case there are power outages in the area (works everything except AC when power grid is out), and central air and heat to keep the house cool during summer and warm during winter and snow season.

The living room is equipped with a new smart TV (Netflix, YouTube TV, Apple TV and Hulu available- personal subscriptions required) and comfortable seating.

Bedding, sheets, towels, toilet paper, paper towels and soaps/shampoos are provided for our guests. A washer and dryer are also available for guest use. Please bring your own beach towels.

Parking is available for up to 4 cars and may be impacted by the size of your vehicle. Instructions regarding boat launching and trailer parking would be included in your welcome/check-in message shortly before your arrival.

- "I have stayed in vacation rentals for over 35 years - and I have rented more than 15 homes at Bass Lake. This home blows away any other competitors! NEVER have I seen a rental better stocked than this one. I could have left half of what I packed at home. PLENTY bath and kitchen towels. PLENTY garbage bags, toiletries, soaps kitchen spices, condiments, paper products, games, blankets, pillows, etc. A lot of rentals have the bare minimum in the kitchen. This one has a ton of EVERYTHING and the appliances are newer. Comfortable beds and furniture. A/C units that actually work. Ceiling fans. A wrap-around deck with 3 seating areas. Propane BBQ. Everything listed in the amenities was accurate. The pictures look exactly like the home. A bonus was the view of the lake. It can be seen from the deck, the living room, the loft and a little from the kitchen. Another honorable mention is that the owner, Linda Hoagland, responded with lightning speed to every message I sent. Not only was she responsive, but, she was a gem to work with. It was unanimous with my kids, grandkids and visitors that this house, far and above exceeded all expectations and that it was our favorite of all time. My only "complaint" that the owners have no control over, is the very steep driveway. However, there is room for 2 cars in tandem to the left of the home. Also, the outdoor firepit didn't work. If I could give 10 stars I would. This home is the best of the best and I would not hesitate to rent it again."

Perhaps to have cable but we really didn't use the TV. I'm not sure there was a hair dryer available. We didn't find one but had brought our own. Bath soap or bath gel would have been appreciated but all the other things -shampoo, conditioner, etc. were aplenty."

- "The stay was fine because of our ability as a family to adapt to different situations. We knew about the linens, towels, toaletries, etc., but didn't have clear picture of how many beds and what sizes we should expect to find in the house, which made us bring more linens for different scenarios. The hot weather made the stay miserable in the first few days and the ceiling fan didn't help nor did the other very dusty portable fans. The warning that the house doesn't have a carbon monoxide alarm made me feel uneasy during our stay. The house provides all basic needs for a stay, but because it's old it doesn't give much comfort. All the old and dusty objects and amenities of the house are preventing an enjoyable vacation. With all this comment I don't want to offend anybody, but I choose to be honest. I understand that different people have different opinions about what is valuable and what not. Old doesn't mean that it can not be enjoyable. But to be enjoyable it requires to be clean, tidy, functioning well and be secure. And then, it can be even charming. The communication before arrival was delayed and uncertain. After that it was fine."

The cabin is fully supplied with dishes, pots/pans, large and small bowels, extensive utensils, wine glasses, etc etc throughout the kitchen. There is a washer and dryer in the hallway with additional supplies in closets. A very large couch with a chaise lounge. The flatscreen TV in the main room’s volume can be turned up on the side of the remote. The fireplace is amazing and we highly recommend buying some wood at a local market. Additional parking in back of cabin for cars and a small boat. Pack-n-Play crib and changing table, stroller and high chair in cabin. The cabin is just one block at the end of the road to lake access. The cabin is .05 miles from restaurants, boating/boat rental, bars entertainment, Ducey’s and the Pine’s resort. Yosemite park entrance is 13 miles away. Hiking and biking trails throughout the Bass Lake area. The cabin is very cozy with amazing decor throughout each and every room that will give you that ultimate cabin experience.

There’s parking for 4 vehicles and a boat trailer.

*Mountain WiFi can be slow or quit working at times. We wish we had better options.
*Bass Lake reaches its peak water levels in the summer months and can drop up to 50% during the fall and winter months, & may effect the use of the boat slip.
*During snow season the cabin may only be accessible with a 4 wheel drive and chains.
*Power outages may occur at anytime but more so during a storm, this is out of our control and will be the same at any other rental in the area. We do not have a backup source of power.
*No smoking in or around the house!
*The fireplace is unsafe to use but the house has other efficient heat.
*Bass Lake does have active bears so be aware.
*Only place trash in the black bear proof one or leave in the house.
*We have regular pest control but as with any cabin in the woods you may see a spider or bugs.
*We recommend bringing bug repellent for the mosquitos in the warmer months.
*I do my best to make sure everything is in good working order but this is an old cabin and things can happen. In the case something isn’t working properly I’m only a call away.

This cabin is located in Willow Cove. Enjoy that morning cup of coffee or an evening meal after a day at the lake while relaxing on the large deck. This is an all season rental, weekly during the summer and 2 night minimums off season with 3 day minimums on holidays. Includes linens.

Get away from it all in this beautiful private Bass Lake cabin.
The top floor is a Master bedroom with a queen bed and a private balcony.

The middle floor is the "hub" of the house. The living room, dining room, kitchen, two bedrooms and second full bathroom are on the middle floor. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other has two twin beds with pull-out trundles if needed.

The space
The dining Area has double doors that open completely to the large deck just outside. This allows the outdoors in, weather permitting.

The bonus room on the bottom floor has its own entrance from the driveway. Enjoy playing pool or watching a movie (or both!) with large windows allowing generous light in the day or the blinds for privacy at night. The bonus room also has a bunk bed (single over single)> The bonus room leads into laundry room with a new high-efficiency washer and dryer, with room to hang beach towels and clothing.

Beautiful Bass Lake is a wonderful spot for boating, skiing, fishing, hiking, and bicycling. You'll be close to the Pines Village at the lake, with its restaurants, general market, bars, shops, and a full-service marina with rental boats, jet skis, and kayaks. The town of Oakhurst is about seven miles away, offering shops, restaurants, bars, a cinema, and a live stage theater of its own. The Chukchansi Casino in Coarsegold is 12 miles away and the southern entrance of Yosemite National Park is only 15 miles away. No dogs allowed. The property owner is severely allergic. Violations may result in a fine.

Bass Lake is less than 15 miles from the southern entrance of Yosemite National Park. Bass Lake reaches its peak water levels in the summer months and is lowered by 50 percent during the fall and winter months annually. Because of this, summer water levels vary each year depending on seasonal winter rain and snowfall. No dogs allowed. The property owner is severely allergic. Violations may result in a fine.

The cabin was built in the 1940’s with 4 bedrooms (includes living and sleeping upstairs) and 4 full bathrooms. The primary bedroom has 2 queens, another guest room has a king bed that is an electronic sleep member type bed with toys for kids in the closet. Another guest bedroom is a queen with its own tiny on-suite. Most recently renovated is our upstairs living area. Includes 2 sofa beds and an air mattress. Includes kitchenette, full dressing room and full bathroom. Firestick TV available in every room. Bluetooth speakers in sunroom is called “Bluetooth”.

With peek a boo views of the lake, our charming cabin and guesthouse backs up to the Sierra National Forest and is only a 1 block walk from the sparkling shores of beautiful Bass Lake. It is centrally located between the popular Falls Beach and Pines Village restaurants and shopping.

Relax on the deck or head down to the lake to enjoy the picnic area and water activities. Kick back around the house to enjoy a variety of games, books, and movies. Only 15 miles to southern entrance of Yosemite.

The space
The main house showcases knotty pine walls, a private deck with lake peeks, and a fully equipped kitchen for all your cooking needs. It includes 2 bedrooms, adjoined by a jack and jill bathroom with a full tub and shower combination. The first bedroom is generously sized with 1 queen bed and 1 twin over twin bunk bed. The second bedroom has 1 queen bed with private entry.

The newly redecorated, studio style guesthouse, with large private deck, includes an open floor plan with 1 queen bed, 2 twin beds, and a twin daybed with trundle. The kitchenette is fully equipped for all your light kitchen needs and features local granite counter tops, a bar sink, microwave, toaster oven, electric kettle, electric griddle, portable countertop electric burner, crock pot, coffee maker, mini fridge, and plenty of storage. The lodged themed bathroom includes a tiled shower and granite counter tops.

Our home accommodates a maximum of 12 guests, including infants and children. It is fully furnished and includes bed linens, blankets, pillows, and towels.

Amenities include evaporative coolers, wood burning fireplace, charcoal BBQ, wifi, flat screen TVs with Roku & Hulu, Blu-ray players, board games, puzzles, books, DVDs, and plenty of parking (maximum 4 vehicles). Beautiful Bass Lake cabin with lake views from the second story and kitchen. The backyard is beautifully landscaped. The fountain in the backyard creates a relaxing environment. Duceys, the marina, and the Pines bar are close by. The lake is only a block away. If you need anything from supplies to food, Oakhurst is only a 10 minute drive. If you are looking to do something more adventurous, Yosemite National Park is only 30 minutes away.

The space
Our Cabin is 3 bedroom and 2 bathroom residence. The master bedroom has its own shower/tub attached to the room. It has recently been remodeled with all brand new furnishings and new appliances. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you would need. This includes, pots, pans, utensils, some seasonings, paper towels, trash bags, and cleaning supplies. We also have a Keurig coffee machine, coffee, mugs, tea, and a milk frother. Tea and pods provided

All bathrooms are have shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. Laundry detergent is provided if you need to wash some clothes. Extra toiletries are provided in case you forget anything. We have smart televisions that are over 50" that gives you access to all streaming apps, Wifi, and an Alexa in the kitchen. The couch in the living room has storage under the chaise lounge and there is a pull out under the other two seats that can be converted into a bed.

All rooms are equipped with charging stations and mini split units for your AC/ Heating needs. One of the rooms has bunk beds which is perfect for kids. The room also has toys for kids. Spend the day on the lake or go on an adventure to Yosemite.

Once you get back, relax in the recently landscaped backyard. The backyard has a calming water fountain with beautiful lights that drape across the yards. There is a table in the backyard so you are able dine inside or outside. We have a gas BBQ outside if you feel like BBQ. Propane is also provided. You can end the night with some board games with the family that are also available. A custom made Owl box is also in the backyard. We hope to have an owl make this his new home. Guests also have access to our semi-private lakeside beach area (available only to this neighborhood). This area has some covered seating at tables.

Our cabin is less then a mile from the Pines Resort which has shopping, restaurants, marina on the lake with boat rentals and water sports. It is a 3 minute drive from our cabin or a 15 minute walk. Rent a boat or jet skis and spend the day on the lake or head into Yosemite for the day. We are located 30 minutes outside the south entrance of Yosemite National Park. We have a fully equipped kitchen, Alexa, Corn Hole, and wood burning fireplace. You will be a block away from the lake and will also have lake views.

The PInes Resort has a grocery store, gas pump, pizza and ice cream parlor, full service marina with boat rentals, jet ski rental, paddle board and tube rentals. There is also a outdoors/sports store for any of your needs. They just got a new Starbucks and Deli Delicious. Once you enter our cabin you feel right at home. Spend the day on the lake or in Yosemite and come back and relax on the deck backing onto the Sierra National forest. There are also some fantastic hiking trails in the area. Yosemite is only about 30 minutes away. Oakhurst has some great restaurants and a Raleys and Vons for groceries. On the way to our cabin you will pass Chuckchansi casino and resort which is fun for a night out.

The house is primarily heated by an efficient wood stove in the living room. The fire will be all ready for you to light a match to once you arrive. It heats the house up fairly quickly, usually within 30 minutes. We provide plenty of firewood on the rack outside the back door (and in the shed beyond the lawn). You can set the fire on “low” by moving the lever at the bottom of the stove to the right. This allows less air in, and it will burn slowly. Pile it up with wood during the night, set it on low, and it should stay warm all night long.
The wood stove is a desirable feature for most guests
**HOWEVER, If you don't want to deal with a wood stove, this cabin may not be your best option.

This classic mountain cabin is the perfect stay for family getaways and year-round adventures. Equipped with three bedrooms and two baths, it can easily accommodate 10 guests. This Bass Lake house has 3 bedrooms, two bathrooms and amenities including: washer and dryer, wifi (fastest on the lake!), and Apple TV. The home is walking distance to the lake, and comes with access to a private dock on the Bass Lake’s best recreational cove, Willow Cove. You’ll be a quick swim to the rope swing, rock jump, or the sand bar from the dock.

Upon arriving at our home, you will have to hike up 10 or so uneven cobblestone steps to the fully fenced property. From there you have two ways of entering the house. You can go all the way up to the "front" of the house to locate the living areas OR drop your bags at the "back" door where the bedrooms are located.

The stroll down to the boat slip is an easy walk, but also has some steep, uneven, rocky steps to take you down to the dock once you get closer to the water. This is rustic, lakeside living at its finest, but please consider this before booking.

We enjoy sharing our lake home because we know how much fun it is to be together at the lake! Enjoy a lakeview from the deck! PLUS 20 minute access to Yosemite entrance. This two story home is located .8 miles from the center of Bass Lake and .3 miles from beautiful Falls Beach! Bass Lake Estates is a nice family, friendly neighborhood AND we always think of the dog as part of the family! Parking for 6 vehicles with ample room for the boat! Fully loaded kitchen for the cook!

The space
The great room provides an atmosphere for gatherings! Large family room with access to the dining area and kitchen allows for everyone to be together! Dining room table can seat 8-10, and there are also 5 seats at the nearby counter. There is a back patio with a charcoal grill and front deck with outdoor table and chairs for dining and relaxing. There are also areas such as the loft, to send kids for video games. The loft also has an alternate sleeping area,(not included in bed count) with a queen memory foam mattress for optional sleeping. Good option for kids! The upstairs master bedroom has 2 beds...great for a family with small kids that need to be with their parents. There is also a simple desk in this room for remote work or a game area for the kids.
No more than 2 dogs please! Also we ask that dogs not be left unattended in the house if you are going to be gone for awhile.

Guest access
Bass Lake Estates is close to everything , yet not on a busy street. A front lawn and a large driveway provide space for outdoor games. Walking distance to town and one of Bass Lakes best beaches, Falls Beach. This beach has lots of sand and a fun waterslide where the water enters the lake. Parking for 6 vehicles with ample room for the boat! Two boat ramps are available, one at the Pines Resort (in and out fee) and the other is on the other side of the lake with public access for $10. Bass Lake does require a boat permit, which can be purchased at the Forks Resort or the Sheriff Tower on the lake.

Other things to note
Bass Lake is an awesome small mountain community with a small grocery store, several shops, bars and sit down and take out eateries. Pizzeria and bakery open in the summer. There are beaches surrounding the lake, most accessible by car, some exclusively accessible via boat.
Some favorites include Ducey's on the Lake, with upstairs bar and grill and downstairs dining. The Tiki Bar on the shoreline is great fun for adults and family, with live music and fun lake scenes while eating and drinking during the summer. Millers Landing and The Forks, a short distance on the other side of the lake have great food. (both accessible by boat or car)
Nearby Oakhurst has several large grocery stores, a cinema, and some great restaurants. We enjoy:
South Gate Brewery-great food and beer. Indoor and outdoor dining
Snowline Bar -an awesome mountain bar, often offering live music, on Saturday nights. Great bar menu too. Burgers are especially good.
Pizza Factory- indoor and outdoor dining.
Pete's- great for breakfast. Order at counter. Eat in or take out.
El Cids-large Mexican restaurant with a huge menu. Always busy, but always able to seat you and to take large parties. Very accommodating.
Papa Murphy's in Oakhurst is great for ordering online, picking up and then baking at the house for an easy meal.
The Vonn's and Raley's in Oakhurst can meet all your grocery shopping needs.
There is also a Steam Train nearby to take you through the redwoods for a fun family adventure.

Recently renovated, this three bedroom, three bath property has spacious indoor amenities and a stunning wraparound deck complete with dining space, lounge furniture, and pristine lake views. This architectural beauty is conveniently located just a 5min walk to the private boat slip, Falls Beach, Angel Falls trailhead, and only a 30min drive to Yosemite National Park.

The space
The home has a three story layout with gorgeous lake views from all common areas including the wrap around deck, living room, kitchen, and dining room. These rooms plus a bathroom, laundry, and game room make up the 2nd floor. Third floor is a spacious master suite with lake views and optional additional queen daybed. First floor has remaining two bedrooms and full bath. This house is perfect for friend and family get-togethers and relaxing getaways. Most of the property has been renovated and features new appliances, furniture, design, and construction.

Whether it be a Lake House or Yosemite get away, Lakeview Lodge’s location for both is tough to beat. Located near the North East end of the lake, you’ll be a short walk from the private boat slip, highly coveted beach access at The Falls Beach Picnic Site, and the beautiful natural pools of Angle Falls Trailhead, complete with rock water slide right into the lake in summer. Food and dining options are available just down the street in Pines Village and Oakhurst. 30 minutes north will take you right into Yosemite National Park where you can experience a plethora of nature adventures and natural majesty.

House amenities include, 65” Frame TV in the living room, internet, laundry room, outdoor Weber BBQ, indoor dining area for ten people, and game room with foosball, classic Super Nintendo, and a variety of board games. Linens are fully available including beach towels. Kitchen is stocked for entertaining, and bottled soaps, shampoo, and conditioner are provided in all bathrooms.

Guest access
The entire property is available to you. This includes the main house, the long driveway, and surrounding fauna. The driveway can accommodate 2-3 cars comfortably. The garage is kept locked for storage.

Other things to note
If you are BYOB (BRINGING YOUR OWN BOAT) this next part is very important. The driveway is very long and narrow, please dock your boat at the slip beforehand. If you plan on parking your trailer at the house, know that there is no wide turn around in the driveway. You will most likely need to disconnect the trailer to reposition it in order to leave.
