The charming village of Mont-Tremblant is just a short drive away, with plenty of shops and restaurants to enjoy.

Le Chalet du Lac Rougeaud is easily accessible from the Autoroute 115E and Route 117, and is just 90 minutes from the Greater Montreal area.

For guests please be informed that the internet network is supported by local fibre, and the speed may change due to bad weather or wind. Usually, the internet speed is around 150 Mbps and 40 ping. Also, the property has exterior video cameras to ensure the security of the land and noise detectors that prevent loud noises and unauthorized parties.

This fully equipped rustic shelter can comfortably host 5 to 6 people: 5 adults or 4 adults and 2 kids. The shelter is equipped with 2 double mattresses, 2 simple mattresses, a gas cooker, plates, pans, pots and all the kitchen tools you need. The sheets, blankets and towels are not included (It’s possible to rent some from us if you are travelling in Quebec)
Located between 2 lakes, at the end of a beautiful trail, this shelter will give you a unique trip filled with relaxation in the calm of the nature. There is no running water but we provide tanks of 20 litres for your cooking and dishes purposes. Dry bathrooms are located outside, close to the cabin. A fireplace will warm up the shelter when the temperature goes down.
The shelter is located close to the Démélé lake where you can swim, go fishing (with a fishing license) and use the canoe.
In the winter you can hike with snowshoes and do cross country skiing.

Also very close to the most beautiful mountain hiking sites such as Montagne d’Argent and Montagne verte.

In winter, for your safety and comfort, we strongly recommend using a vehicle with winter tires (as required by law) and all-wheel drive or four-wheel drive. Also, since we are in the mountains, it’s normal to need a bit of extra power to climb some slopes, regardless of the season.
