- "An absolutely beautiful house. The location was great for exploring Cornwall. The wi-fi was brilliant, very important with 2 teenagers! All rooms are big and airy so plenty of space. The hot tub room is ace, with music and lights - perfect for chilling after a day of exploring. We had a Sunday lunch at the Cutty Sark which was delicious. And pizza and drinks at the Fire Engine, both within walking distance. The view of St Michael's Mount from the front bedrooms was amazing. "

The Silver House has some of the best sea views in Marazion – from both upstairs and downstairs. To enjoy the house at its best, sit in the window, maybe snuggle up with a book, and gaze out on the ever-changing sea, or across to the Mount, Penzance, Newlyn and Mousehole. You are just a few minutes stroll from the centre of Marazion, with its beaches, galleries and gift shops, cafes and restaurants. Or if you want to venture further afield, you are perfectly placed to explore nearby St Ives, Penzance, Mousehole and everything the wonderful Land's End peninsula has to offer. The cottage has been planned to make your holiday as comfortable as possible; it is spacious but feels cosy, with a touch of contemporary style and interesting artworks. The kitchen is well-equipped, there is fast wifi broadband, while upstairs you'll find white cotton bed linen and fluffy white towels. And the discreet garden over the road is the perfect spot to enjoy a picnic lunch or sundowner. The Silver House has its own private parking space located 300m away. Please note that the standard changeover day is Saturday.
- "We loved the house - perfect for a family stay in Marazion. Our host Alex was super helpful and brilliant to deal with. House was spacious and well equipped" - "The cottage was perfect for our stay!" - "The Silver House is a fabulous base for a stay in Cornwall. It is well set up and very cosy and comfortable. There is a signed car parking space at a private hotel a short stroll up the road but you can pull over on the road out front of the house and carefully unload your luggage. Instructions to access the house were provided 2 days before and were easy to follow. You need to be able to carry your bags up a narrowish stair case to the bedrooms on the first floor and there is only one bathroom. The views of St Michael’s Mount from the house are magnificent. There is a Sainsbury’s supermarket 5 mins car drive away on the outskirts of Penzance. We also walked from Marazion to Penzance along the coast path. You can catch a bus back. Cornwall is well serviced by buses and the train from Penzance but we appreciated having a car for the flexibility. Would definitely stay again if visiting Cornwall."

- "I would like to take this opportunity to thank our host Sue for an amazing time we had at Meledor. The property was beautifully and tastefully furnished and very well equipped (and here, I mean, you will find there literally everything you can possibly need). I miss the views of the sea we had from the windows!! The house is in an excellent location, literally just across the road from the beach; right next to a café and a walking distance to other shops, take aways, restaurants... Parking was very convenient, too, there is a free parking space throughout the night right across the road (if you get lucky to get a space though :-)), short-term parking right next to it, and long term parking (providing weekly discount) 5 minutes walk away. Sue was such a welcoming host - very easy to communicate with and super helpful with all the questions that I had. We were very sorry to leave, including my little toddler, who kept going on about how he "liked this house" :-) Thank you, Sue, we hope to be back in that beautiful part of Cornwall one day very soon!"

- "Loved spending a week at the Studio. The welcome and on-going friendliness and genuine care from Diane was nothing like we had encounted before - what a lovely lady. She wanted us to have the very best time possible, even with late October weather and the Covid situation. Some people had mentionned, in the visitors book, that they wished they had known there wasn't an oven in the property - this did not cause us any concern, as the microwave was also a conventional oven and grill. Even though the kitchen is tiny they relly have made the very best of space and facilities ... it's a studio after all ;-) Saying that - the bathroom was huge and the shower fabulous! Sadly didn't get chance for a soak in the enormous bath. We thoroughly enjoyed getting away from it all, and when we weren't out walking on the coast path we absolutely loved relaxing there; the sofa is lovely and comfy. We even managed to snatch an hour sitting outside on the patio, having a cup of tea and pasty looking at the lovely views. Just perfect. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo"

- "We stayed in this lovely cottage at the end of August. It was wet and windy for the most part but we didn't let that spoil our fun. The cottage is a terraced house as part of a L shaped building, so if you do venture onto the patio you will find you are overlooked from all sides which some people may find intimidating, however you are treated to a side view of St. Michaels Mount. The cottage itself is lovely. Fully equipped with everything you might need including welcome pack of chocs, flowers, and washing up equipment (including handy dishwasher tabs). Freezer is very small though so don't plan on buying too much. 2 very comfortable bedrooms and small bathroom. Master bed opens onto small patio area, although disappointingly hot tub was out of commission for our visit (we were compensated for this) but it was a shame as this was one of the main reasons we had booked this cottage hence my lower score on value for money. There were TV's with freeview in the bedrooms and Sky TV including movies in the living area and WiFi service was excellent, great for the kids! The upstairs area was homely and comfy. Marazion is a 20 min walk down a gentle hill and there are a smattering of restaurants, bars, shops and a fish and chip shop. I would recommend booking in advance of your holiday. We can highly recommend the White Hart in Ludgvan (8 min drive away). There is also a Morrisons 5 mins away in the car with a McDonalds next door. St Ives and Hayle beach are only a 20 min drive away so well worth a visit. Overall a lovely cottage in a good location. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo"

This charming, modernised cottage is situated about 80m from the safe, sandy beach overlooking St Michael's Mount. Facilities for swimming, sailing and wind surfing are excellent. The village has a wide variety of shops, galleries and restaurants and is an ideal base for exploring the beautiful coastline and countryside of the Lands End peninsula.
Tresco is an attractive cottage fronting onto a small road. It has a rear courtyard garden which is sheltered and sunny - ideal for barbecues. The lounge is large and spacious with a low beamed ceiling, exposed granite walls and inglenook fireplace with wood burning stove. Marazion is the perfect village for a family holiday, with childrens' play area and sailing close by. The village overlooks the magnificent Mount's Bay with the famed St. Michael's Mount directly opposite. The interesting towns of St Ives and Penzance are very close and well worth a visit.
- "We had an excellent time to stay in this cottage. We have been 3 persons enjoying the silence but also the ability to start sightseeing with public transport to many destinations. We could cook and start our day with a good breakfast for the day and neighbouring pubs as well as shopping centers 3 stations by bus opened us the ability to select what fit best to our needs. We certainly come again and hopefully get the cottage as starting point. We relaxed in these two weeks to an extent we never felt before. My friends left the cottage with a smile in her face..."

With an interior to envy, the owners’ passion for creating beautiful spaces is evident in the home’s unique styling, furnishings and colour palette which strike just the right balance between elegance and practicality.
The cottage with its whitewashed walls and muted naturals has an ethereal charm about it and is laid out over three floors. French-inspired furniture, reclaimed weathered planks and stripped floorboards sit alongside original period features like sash windows, fireplace lintels and chunky reveals. There are cosy spaces to retreat to and welcoming spaces to come together in, including a gorgeous, fully equipped first floor kitchen, and the living area with its log-burner and views of both the sea and St Michaels Mount.
Three bedrooms including a master king, twin room and single as well as a large family bathroom with decadent roll top bath mean there’s plenty of space for a party of five guests. Outside, a tiled Mediterranean-esque courtyard garden with pots, planting, table and seating is where you’ll be able to soak up the Cornish sunshine, and the outdoor shower with hot water is perfect for washing away the Marazion Beach sand after a day spent building sandcastles, sunbathing or paddle boarding.
Ideally placed within the village and on the coast, there are a selection of wonderful beaches to explore both on the doorstep and further afield including Perranunthnoe, Sennen and Prussia coves, Carbis Bay and Porthcurno. A wealth of coastal paths and walks in the area offer plenty of opportunity to relish some of the most spectacular sea and landscape views including those of St Michaels Mount, while within the village are an abundance of independent shops, art galleries and restaurants.

- "Lovely cottage. Great location. Cream tea had been left for us as well as a pint of milk, tea, coffee etc. Nothing really negative to say apart from would like to see a dishwasher added and maybe a larger tv." - "1 minute from the beach yet quiet and secluded. great spot." - "Roomy and very clean house, friendly and approachable host. Bathrooms needed some updating. The Kitchen was very well equipped compared to other places we have stayed in, although we did need to buy a larger frying pan and the knives were rather blunt (we like to cook in a lot more than I would imagine other holiday makers do). The location was wonderful, only a short drive to the nearest supermarket for supplies and lots to do within an hour’s drive, even on rainy days!"

Enjoy the restaurants, galleries and coffee houses. St Michaels Mount is the iconic part time isle reached via a cobbled causeway at low tide or ferry jaunt at high water.
- "Flat was great. Could have done with a baking tray & bedside lamps, but otherwise it catered well. The balcony view over St Michaels Mount was fantastic & was the reason we booked it. We had no issues with parking. Only small issue is that the external rubbish bins were completely full so we couldn’t get rid of our rubbish there - a kind neighbour helped us out instead. Would come back in the future. In addition to St Michaels Mount, would recommend Geevors Tin Mine as a day out, in addition to trips to St Ives & the small fishing village of Mousehole. The Minack Theatre is a must...it’s breathtaking. The local eateries of the Kings Arms (need to book), the Curry Sark bar & restaurant, and the Fire Engine pub were all very welcoming. You’ll need to shop outside of Marazion for food but there are lots of major supermarkets within a 10 minute drive towards Penzance. A brilliant week despite mixed weather."

Set within walking distance of Marazion beach and town, this gorgeous cottage is simply perfect for family getaways to west Cornwall and boasts two bright bedrooms, elegant open plan living / dining and a private terrace with views of St Michael’s Mount.
One of a row of attractive original granite cottages, Eastleigh appeals from the moment you set eyes on its sunshine yellow exterior. Inside, the cottage’s humble heritage is showcased throughout with exposed stone walls, overhead roof timbers and sash windows while natural tones and sophisticated furnishings harmonise the old and the new to create an atmosphere that’s perfect for relaxation. Refurbished to an excellent standard and with high quality, modern features, the ground floor is delightfully bright and spacious and welcomes guests to cook / dine and unwind together in complete comfort.
Upstairs, the property’s bedrooms are ideally configured to suit a family of four or two couples, with the master featuring a sumptuous king size bed and the roomy second having twin beds. The family bathroom (which is also situated upstairs), has been beautifully redone to include a large walk-in shower and contemporary tiling as well as an enormous rainfall attachment, so expect speedy de-sanding after your day at the beach.
Making the most of west Cornwall’s temperate climate, the cottage features plenty of outdoor space too. A slate-paved, walled courtyard with bistro table and chairs is where you’ll be able to savour your morning coffees, and a raised terrace with sea and Mount views is the perfect spot for enjoying fresh air dining while watching the sun set in all its splendour.
If you’re keen to explore the area, Mounts Bay is awash with pretty coastal villages, landmarks and family-friendly attractions, the most famous of which being the rocky island and medieval church of St Michael’s Mount. Sitting right offshore and accessed either by foot along the tidal causeway (or by boat when the tide is in), this historic feature is an absolute must while visiting the town and offers not only sublime views back towards the coastline, but a wonderful tropical garden, restaurant and castle.
A short drive away are the villages of Newlyn and Mousehole, both with completely different atmospheres but both well worth visiting for their individuality. Like a glimpse into old Cornwall, Mousehole with its Lamorna stone cottages is delightfully quaint and charming, while Newlyn with its working harbour and art scene is vibey and bustling. Further afield is the beautiful Porthcurno with its world-acclaimed beach and Telegraph Museum, as well as the ruins of Botallack mine which is a UNESCO World Heritage site in St Just.

The cottage is accessible via a key safe so you can arrive at your convenience, the key safe is located outside the private entrance .
The Lane leading to the parking space is a little narrow & the space itself snug it fits my large SUV fine but you may need to use some manoeuvring skills if a car is parked next to you.
Other things to note
The property is joined to the next door cottage, there is a door for access between, this is permanently locked and the owner next door mostly resides in London.
The garden is for your sole use, however the owner needs to pass through for access to her cottage.

At your disposal is an al fresco dining area with enough seating for the whole family, a charcoal barbeque, outdoor Portuguese oven, hammock and garden lounge chairs.
Marazion village is just 500 metres away down a country lane — so you have privacy but also great amenities – it really is the best of both worlds! The iconic beach here is over a mile long (and considerably longer if you include Longrock beach). Marazion beach is mostly made up of lovely clean sand with a few pebbly patches. There are some areas of interesting rock-pools towards the village end as well as some small sand dunes, a ‘green’ and a public play area. Marazion is the heart of Mount’s Bay and the village is blessed with excellent pubs, restaurants, cafés, galleries and small independent shops. It’s also your access point to the famous St Michael’s Mount and a range of sports activities (including kite-surfing, windsurfing, stand-up paddleboarding, sea kayaking, snorkelling and spear-fishing). Along the coast eastwards you can explore the picturesque coves of Perranuthnoe, Prussia Cove and Rinsey, the surf beach of Praa Sands and the foodie haven of Porthleven. Heading west, you will find the historic town of Penzance, the fishing port of Newlyn, legendary Mousehole, Lamorna, Porthcurno and Land’s End.
