You can get to the top of the Wielder Chair lift from the cottage. But you have to walk some of it, and then ski some. Coming back is a challenge. There is a large hill you have to walk up, and then you can kinda ski/walk the rest of the way. By the time you get back you are exhausted. And, that chair lift closes at 4:30, so after that you cannot even go down the mountain from there, you have to drive. It's a very short drive to the next chair lift, where you can park your vehicle, but with kids wanting to come and go this doesn't work. Great place, but if you are looking for Ski In and Ski Out this is not that."

- "It was an awesome stay. Only few minutes drive to Blue Mountain Village. Nice deck around the house. Only thing I'd suggest the owner to install ceiling fans or table fans upstairs. We noticed with the AC on, main floor and basement gets way colder than upstairs. Fire place kept basement warm. Didn't have to use the two room in the basement. Kids felt comfortable sleeping on the sofa. Nice bbq gas grill. We didn't have to carry propane tank. There's a hot tub there but we were not much into hot tubs, so didn't use it. House is very clean and well decorated. Four vehicles can be parked easy. Overall, we had pleasant stay. We'd definitely rent it again next time we're in Blue Mountain."

This traditional Swiss style chalet has approximately 2,800 square feet of living area on 3 floors. The top floor is open concept with a large fully equipped kitchen, dinning area for your whole group and a living room with floor to ceiling windows creating a bright comfortable room for gatherings. Step out of the open concept living room to the large second floor deck and take in the fresh blue mountain air.

The main floor features 4 bedrooms. 2 bedrooms with 1 double size bed in each room and 2 bedrooms with 2 single size beds. 2 Full bathrooms (with tub and shower) and a natural wood sauna. Downstairs in the basement you will find the other 5 bedrooms.1 bedroom with 2 double size beds, 3 bedrooms with 1 double size bunk bed in each room and one room will have a one set of twin size bunk bed.

Ski lift is at the end of the street. This rustic 6 bedroom Blue Mountain Chalet is situated on Patricia Drive & is within 2 km of Blue Mountain and a short 15 minute walk to the Village with over 25 shops, bars and restaurants. In winter time it's just a 2 minute walk to the Orchard chair ski lift.

The chalet offers open plan living space with a fully equipped kitchen. 6 bedrooms and 2 washrooms. Outside, there is a large deck with garden, patio furniture, BBQ & there is also a 6 person hot tub for guests to enjoy.

This beautiful, rustic chalet can accommodate 14 people comfortably & is the perfect Blue Mountain Family Getaway. All guests will have access to our private beach during the summer months, just a short 5 min drive down the hill on Georgian Bay.
