We rented a boat up the lake at latitude218 and he delivered the boat to us which was amazing since I was wondering how that would work with being a single parent on the trip. The owners was great with communication. There were several questions I had to them prior to and they answered almost immediately. They even reached out during our stay to make sure everything was good. The only complaint we had was not due to the house or the owners, but due to the amount of rain they have received over the course of months prior to our stay. The backyard was a sponge and definitely not something possible for outdoor activities in the backyard. But we had a boat and wanted to use that, so once you travel thru that to the dock you are set. :) One key if you travel on a boat past the reeds where it cliffs off to 15feet is where the fish are. Kids loved it!!"

We have 2 kayaks and 2 canoes along with paddles and life jackets for guests to enjoy. There is a beautiful firepit located right next to the water with lots of wood provided for those memory making campfires. In the winter enjoy ice fishing, skiing (cross country trails are plentiful in the area, or downhill at Buena Vista Ski), snowshoeing and snowmobiling (equipment not provided with cabin rental, but is available to rent locally).

Built by my family in 1965 as a summer fishing cabin, many record-setting muskies were caught and released by my grandpa and dad while staying here. Facing Goose Island (a renowned fishing locale) on the big part of Leech Lake, you have unparalleled views and access.

There are two bedrooms, each containing a new queen mattress. There is also an inflatable queen mattress that would be ideal in the living room area. The living room and kitchen/dining room have an open plan with high timber ceilings.

Bring your boat! There is a dock and shore station for a small boat (18'fiberglass/20' aluminum maximum) to which you have access, complete with a foldable filet station on the front porch. Additional amenities include: canoe, washing machine and dryer, Wifi, DVD player and DVD library, full kitchen and bath, a lakefront fire pit, picture windows, and an outdoor sitting porch. Responsible pet owners with their furry friends are welcome.

Take a step back in time! Our family has infused the cabin with love for 55 years- my grandma created all the rag rugs that still cover the floors and all the decor is vintage and original. The cabin is part of a compound of 4 family cabins on 40 acres set in the heart of the Chippewa National Forest. Our family has made memories here for 75 years and five generations. We have renovated each cabin to be charming and comfortable for the family members who use them. To help with the expenses we have decided to rent out two of the cabins when we are not using them. We will treat you as family and hope that you do the same for us.
This cabin is located on Round Lake, up on a bank, with great views of the lake from most of the cabin. Steps from your front door is 1000 feet of private sandy beach on a great swimming-fishing-boating lake. The sand bottom drops off very gradually, making it ideal for kids to swim safely. Round Lake is known for its great fishing, with a variety of species including walleyes, northerns, perch and panfish.
Enjoy the spectacular sunsets, star-filled skies and sometimes northern lights from our private dock. We provide 2 canoes, 2 kayaks and 2 paddleboards for our guests to use. We will give you info on renting a fishing boat on the lake or you can bring your own boat and moor it in front of our beach. Lounge, grille or picnic on your private patio. Make s’mores or hot dogs on a fire in the lakeside fire pit.
The small but efficient two-bedroom layout is perfect for a family of 5 or two couples. There is a new queen size bed in one bedroom and a new single over double bunk bed in the second bedroom. The 6-person antique table is a great place for meals and games or card playing. The cabin is set up to provide for all your needs: high speed 250 mg direct connect internet, wifi, smart television, ¾ bathroom, well supplied kitchen, linens and towels. The seclusion of our cabins offers an ideal habitat for a variety of birds and animals. You are likely to see loons, pelicans, eagles, various ducks and geese, hummingbirds at the feeder by your cabin, deer and occasionally the fox after whom the cabin is named.
Our location in the National Forest gives you great hiking and biking trails within minutes of the cabin. You will enjoy the good casual restaurants and towns nearby. We will provide a notebook for your use with suggested activities in the area.

Walk, bike or snowmobile on the famous Paul Bunyan State Trail which you have private access to at the beginning of the driveway. This beautiful historic trail is the longest state trail in MN and connects with the Heartland State Trail, Blue Ox Trail, and Lake Bemidji State Park.

The biggest draw for us was the direct access to the lake, and the boating equipment available for use. There are two canoes, two kayaks, and two paddle boards. We went out nearly every single day to explore the surrounding lake area and were captivated by the wildlife and beautiful scenery. Restaurant options in the immediate area are okay and there was greater choice when we were in Grand Rapids. The local gas station has a decent range of food for a simple meal. We also bought a fishing license here and the staff advised us on the best places to fish. Judy was an excellent host. She provided so much information before our stay and was on hand for any questions. We tried a number of excursions suggested in the information book, including a walk to the Lost 40 woodland and a walk and swim at the Sunken Lake. We would thoroughly recommend this holiday property. Thank you for our perfect stay."

We had so much fun with bayliner boat rental and nightly campfires. We went and hiked in the properties woods and there were so many trails. This cabin is located on the Blue Ox ATV/snowmobile trail that runs from International Falls to Bemidji so a great location for those wheeling or snowmobiling getaways! Located only 5 miles from Northome so you have quick access to small town conveniences and hospitality. Only 3 miles to the Island Lake public access for great fishing or 30 miles to Washkish (Upper Red Lake). Only 75 miles to the Canadian border waters so doable for a day trip. The area also offers excellent hunting opportunities including bear, deer and grouse.
It's a great property for hanging out with family and friends. It has a pool table, jukebox and a firepit!

We are on the banks of the Mississippi in Beautiful Northern Minnesota. Our home is about a 15 minute drive from Downtown Bemidji. We are inviting you to join us in our home. We live upstairs but have recently finished our basement just for you to enjoy. We have an active, musical home but will be careful to observe quiet times so that you can get a good nights rest. The Bemidji area has so much to explore, I can't wait to host you and tell you all about it.

The space
You will be staying in our basement. You do have to go through our laundry room to get there but once downstairs you have a large area with a bedroom, bathroom, ping-pong room, playroom and Den (with a little kitchenette in it) just for you to enjoy.

All the rooms with doors open (Bedroom, den, bathroom, playroom and main room) in the basement are for your use. You will also go through the laundry room on the main floor and you are welcome to use that as well.

During your stay
I love to visit with you but I also respect your privacy. I am also gone or busy a fair amount. If you see me around totally feel free to stop and chat, I love to get to know people. My children are a little more reserved and probably will not reach out to visit much, if any, while you are here. I will not come down to visit with you in your space unless you need something, the majority of our living quarters are also private but I may run across you in the entry way or outside and you can always reach out to me when needed.

The semi-basement has been retrofitted to reflect the rustic backcountry northern Minnesota style and has its separate entry and lock for privacy. This spacious room is equipped with a sitting area as well as a kitchenette. There is also a full size futon to accommodate a group of three. Private bathroom is across from the laundry room.

The space
This spacious studio has room for everyone to stretch. The sitting area is furnished with a reclining couch, a lounge chair and a coffee table. The kitchenette is equipped with a kitchen sink, a microwave, a toaster, a mini fridge, a coffee pot and electric burner upon request. There are dishwares and silverwares in the kitchen cabinet, and a table for you to dine or work on. The private bathroom is just across from the room next to the laundry room, equipped with shower essentials and completely to yourself. Though located in our house, other than some noise that transfers from floor to ceiling, this studio room feels like a place all to yourself. This is one of the two rooms we rent out in the basement. You may book both for a larger group.

This beautiful 1904 spacious historic home kept its original charm, where you can enjoy the original claw foot bath tub, and watch the sunrise over Lake Bemidji. Located on the lake walk, it offers quietness on a one-way street, but also liveliness being only a few blocks from downtown and the University. This suite on the first floor, and includes a private vintage bathroom, an adjoining parlor. Please note that it shares an entry with the host. Licensed by the MN Dept. of Health.

The space
The suite our guests will stay in is a quaint bedroom on the first floor with a queen size bed. The adjoining parlor/kitchenette, which is furnished a sink, microwave, and a mini refrigerator, an electric cooktop exclusively for our guests. Both rooms and the vintage bathroom right next door are tucked away on one side of the house, offering additional privacy for our guests. On this side of the house, there is a living room that can be closed off to accommodate a party of four or be used for meeting friends at your request. There is a sectional sofa that converts to a full size bed in that living room. When guests park in the back and come through the back door, then the room is just left through the kitchen.

Here we believe in the power of a good night sleep. Equipped with supportive mattress, cotton sheets and goose down blanket/organic cotton quilt, you are sure to be comfortable every season you visit.

Rustic cabin from the 1970's. Decor is simple. This is a cozy little place to kick back and relax, have some quiet time, read, snooze, write, etc. Located in the woods with a nice deck to relax on.

32" TV and DVD player but NO oven. It does have stove top for cooking, pots, pans, dishes, toaster, microwave, coffee pot, towels, sheets, blankets, pillows and a radio. Keep in mind that this cabin is in the woods and mosquitoes and spiders are present. Bring repellent to enjoy the yard..

The cabin is 8 miles from Bemidji, MN and 7 miles from Cass Lake, MN. The Cedar Lakes is about 7 miles away. The nearest grocery store is 7 miles. There are several lakes close by and a canoe landing on the Mississippi River about 1 mile away.

Located on the upper level of the Sandtrap Golf Course Clubhouse. This is Suite 1 of the 2 Suites that we have. You will Enjoy the large kitchen that is stocked with the basics. A private entrance that leads to the wrap around deck with a panoramic view overlooking the course. Bedroom 1 with a Queen bed, has a walk in closet, an en-suite with a jetted tub and shower. The 2nd Bedroom has a 3/4 bathroom and 2 Full Sized murphy beds. Great Location to enjoy the outdoors. Close to lakes and trails!

The space
2 bedrooms 2 bathroom Full Suite. 1 has a New Queen bed and a Full size bed with attached bathroom with a jetted tub and a shower. The other bedroom has 2 full size Murphy beds with new euro top mattresses, a private bathroom with a shower. Both bedrooms have huge walk in closets. An open/kitchen dining area allows you to cook meals in your suite and view the course from the dining room table. This suite is the larger of the two with a larger living room with oversized furniture and a seating area on the deck. Located in Northern Minnesota you may experience mosquitos, boxelder bugs, Asian beetles, deer, wild turkeys, rabbits and many other types of insects and creatures from time to time. We do our best to have our pest control company do prevention for these things but just know it’s nearly impossible to keep the insects away at all times.
Located above the golf clubhouse means you may hear laughter downstairs, doors opening, people enjoying indoor activities such as the golf simulator, darts, and pool table and juke box, people golfing and driving golf carts around. Cars coming and going. Similar to what you will experience at a resort. We hope you enjoy your stay but want to be straight forward that if you are looking for seclusion and total silence, unfortunately this isn’t the place.

Your suite is above the clubhouse. You will take the outside stairway to access your private external access. There is no internal steps once inside your space.
The clubhouse hours vary, during summer months is open from 7 am-8pm. (Except it could be later on Tournament days and League nights) Thursday nights are the busiest and it may be a bit loud.
Winter hours vary and we may be closed several days a week, depending on weekly activities.
The Grill is open and serves breakfast sandwiches, burgers, Pretzels, nachos, hot dogs and other various short order items.

This little cabin sits in the middle of a small campground on the shore of Round Lake. It's a family-friendly, quiet area with all the camping amenities. There is a range, microwave and sink in the cabin. It also has AC. The garage next door offers refrigerator, grills, griddle, tables and chairs available to all guests. At this time, only a porta potty for bathroom, but bathhouse is in the future plans! Dock space, paddle boards, kayaks, playset, firepit and picnic tables for use.

While there is not a sandy beach area per se, the lake is very shallow (3-4 feet deep) for a very large area around the dock, making it great for swimming and water activities. The space
This house is close to town but still has a country feel. On 2 acres so there is plenty of space for enjoying the outdoors with a fire pit and picnic table. There is plenty of room for parking vehicles and a boat or trailer.

There are many lake accesses, snowmobile/ATV trails, biking trails, and hiking trails near this location. Bemidji state park is just a couple miles away and Itasca state park is less than 40 miles away.

Guest access
We offer self check-in. You have the whole house to yourself but we live near by and will be available if any issues arise. Everything in the house is available for your use. The only area that is not available to you is the shop on the property that we use for storage.

Other things to note
We will have cold cereal, oatmeal, eggs, coffee, hot cocoa, and tea available. We do not plan on restocking mid-stay but feel free to let us know if you are running short. All other food and drinks will be your responsibility. We have a few standard items available in the kitchen for your use (pots and pans, mixing bowls, baking sheets, etc.).

There is no cable tv service but we do offer a Roku and high speed internet. Login to your subscription services and you will be automatically logged out when you check out.

While this is a family friendly space, we don’t currently have any baby/toddler items available so you will need to bring your own.

This remote, spacious cabin is perfect for the sporting enthusiasts. It's located just off the Blue Ox ATV/snowmobile trail that runs from International Falls to Bemidji. It's located 5 miles from Northome which offers small town conveniences and hospitality. Looking to fish? Island lake only 3 miles, Upper Red Lake is 30 miles, Canadian border lakes about 75 miles plus MANY other great lakes nearby.
