This is a small, yet stunningly beautiful authentic log home on a 40 acre estate on the shores of Douglas Lake, an ideal location for endless activities! It is the guest house for the estate, and there is a larger main house that is also available for short term rentals. Booked together, these homes make for a completely unique experience and allow room for large groups to be together on the same property. This home is located less than a mile from Dandridge, a charming, historical town that is credited with being the 2nd oldest town in Tennessee. The Point Marina and Restaurant is roughly a quarter mile away and offers dinner with impeccable views. Just 3 miles away, Exit 417 off of I-40 also offers additional places to eat. We are located about 30-50 minutes to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge tourist attractions or the Great Smoky Mountains, where there is family fun for every type of adventure. Knoxville is 30 miles away and features great restaurants and shopping locations. Asheville, NC, is about 85 miles away if you are looking for a short day trip during your stay. Hot Springs, NC, is about 40 miles away and offers a resort and spa with real hot spring tubs. This home is at a premier location on Douglas Lake with easy access to everything in the region. That is, IF you ever want to leave the property!

On the property, there is a private dock for each of the two homes located in separate coves. A 26' Tri-toon pontoon boat with a 150 hp four-stroke motor is available for rent, and there are kayaks and paddleboats around for free.

We have horses, but they are more suitable for admiring and petting than riding. They are very gentle, but have not been ridden much the past couple years. They love the attention when they're not grazing on the grass around the property. There are also a couple of trails for hiking as well as a campsite on the property.

The cabin itself is 18x24 feet, but there are three floors. The top floor is a master bedroom suite with a queen bed and a private bathroom with a shower, but no tub. The middle floor has a kitchen and dining area on one end, a fireplace in the middle, and a living room on the other side of the fireplace. The living room features two comfortable sofa beds that can sleep 1-2 people each. The ground floor has a queen bed with a private bathroom and an old Victorian-style copper tub.

That arrangement allows for at least 4 people in the two bedrooms, as well as the aforementioned sofa beds in the living room. We've had people have a good time with 5-6 people.

On the exterior, there is a front porch with 2 rocking chairs and a gas grill to enjoy with the family. The back of the cabin features an upper and lower porch, each with adequate seating (chairs, tables, swings) for everyone visiting! A portable outside fireplace is available upon request.

There are many rental log cabins in this area, but this one is noticeable different from the rest due to the immaculate construction, beautiful property, and ideal location. Your visit here will be a very, very different experience from any other rental in this area.

The small cabin was absolutely perfect for the three of us - had everything we needed and the private dock was icing on the cake. The girls loved jumping in and kayaking every evening. Our favorite thing had to be the porch visits from the dogs - Lilly, Chloe, Kira and Shine and one of the cats, Alfie. Randy was incredibly helpful during our check in. During our stay, a severe storm came through with 80 mph winds and knocked power out to the property and the entire Dandridge area. Several trees were down around the cabin and on the driveway. Randy and his team were out there promptly removing the trees. He also came by with flash lights and lanterns and got a generator up and running to ensure we had water. In any other rental this would have been a nightmare situation, but Randy was on top of it. While we were without power for 12ish hours, it was hardly noticeable - we still had plenty of board games to play that came with the property and spent time on the lake. It was a perfect getaway and we can’t wait to come back next year."

This property has been an iron forge, foundry; and a mill (for locals and moonshiners alike) for the past 225+ years. The cabin, hidden behind the mill, was built much later as a private residence. This tiny log cabin has private lake access with a small kayak dock. Soak in the hot tub to start your dayUnfortunately, it is not large enough to dock a boat, but you can use the Douglas Lake Marina, about 10 minutes away, to launch your boat. There is one small kayak provided but feel free to bring your own. We do not provide life jackets. Please understand this rental is for couples only and maybe one small child, but not 3 adults. Excellent fishing, and is located just south of Dandridge (10 mins). Sevierville is 20 mins, Pigeon Forge is 30 mins, and Gatlinburg is 45 mins. You have the ability to be close to all the attractions without the hustle and bustle of staying in the city. The cabin is the last house in the cove, so there is very little boat traffic to interfere with your stay. It is attached to a larger home that sleeps 10, if you need room for a reunion, etc. The properties are separated by a 6 ft privacy fence. The lake is a TVA lake, so there is water from Memorial Day until late September ONLY. After that, there is NO WATER. Please see the pictures! There is still lots to do even out of season. This is a great getaway location for a relaxing long weekend or vacation for 2. The small floating dock set up for a kayak or canoe, is just a few steps below the cabin. H2O Watersports is about 1/2 mile up the road for anyone who wants to rent boats or jet skis.

Our house and cabin property are located on a small farm with a private gated driveway. We have one rental cabin located in the woods and privacy is our forte. Nestled about 3 minutes behind our main house, the cabin is only accessible by golf cart, which is provided. We DO NOT ALLOW any vehicles in the cabin area. The cabin is located in an area that is part of our cattle farm and home for a lot of wildlife; turkey, bear, coyotes and other native critters passing through.

We have an above ground swimming pool located at our main house. We offer it for guests use the beginning of June through the end of August.

We are 20 minutes from Sevierville/Pigeon Forge. We go to Pigeon Forge and even Gatlinburg for a day/evening out. The drive going on Hwy 411 from our place to Sevierville is very picturesque with mountain/valley views. We are 8 minutes from Douglas Lake boat launch and 5 minutes from boat/jet ski rentals for Douglas Lake.

Our cabin is a very primitive style tiny cabin with modern amenities. It is a small 2 story with living area and full kitchen downstairs and bed/bath loft area upstairs. It has 1 full size bed and will accommodate 2 people. The upstairs loft is an open area with the bed on one end and full bath on the other end, with low ceilings. The bed is an antique high-side bed. You will need to be able to climb stairs to the bed/bath loft area. It has both front and back porches to enjoy the privacy and quiet time in the woods. It has a fire pit in the back which uses wood (we provide the cut wood) and a place to cook over the fire. We also have a grill if you prefer to cook on a grill.

Bed linens, bath towels/wash cloths/kitchen towels, toilet tissue, and kitchen paper towels are provided. Kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, dishes, silverware and glassware, just bring your food. Basic coffee supplies/coffee pods and a Keurig coffee maker are provided. We also have a small bread toaster.

We cannot allow more than 2 guests at a time due to the small size of our cabin. When you arrive, you will find that we want you to feel at home on our farm. We love our private property and are looking forward to sharing it with you!

Lakeway is a completely remodeled home that sets on a hill overlooking beautiful Douglas lake with a public boat ramp only 6 min away. Come enjoy the abundance of deer and wildlife while sipping on your favorite beverage from the front porch. You can also set around the campfire in its own private setting in the back yard. If it's a chilly night take a dip in the hot tub. All bedrooms have smart tvs and high speed internet. It's a very cozy space and we take pride in It. This little gem is located just over a mile off interstate 40 and about 5 minutes to Douglas Lake, 30 minutes to Knoxville, Pigeon Forge and other great attractions. We do charge a $500 security deposit.

Guest cottage in Tennessee's 2nd oldest town of Dandridge, near Douglas Lake. Located 45 minutes to Gatlinburg, 35 minutes to Pigeon Forge, and 25-30 minutes to Sevierville and Knoxville. Perfect place for people on the go and needing a place to sleep and get ready. Also, we are 10 minutes from interstate 40 for those passing by needing a place to stay. We have a Queen bed and a Pull out Sofa. We are within 5 minutes of two boat launches, and we have room if you do decide to bring a boat.

The space
Our cottage is an updated 400 sq. ft old miners cabin that we renovated to serve as a place for our family to stay when they visit, and it will always be a work in progress. We keep the cottage clean, comfy, and cozy, but please don't expect a luxury resort experience with high end amenities. This cottage is meant for those looking for a reasonably priced, safe, clean, and comfortable stay within driving distance to surrounding areas and attractions. We have shown everything in the pictures, so there will be no surprises when you check in.

The living room and bedroom share the front portion, while still having room to spread out. We have a queen bed and a couch that can accommodate another person.

Our kitchen is equipped with a fridge, microwave, toaster oven and coffee pot. Please note that the kitchen is not set up for cooking big meals. We don't have a stove or oven due to the limited space and insurance liabilities.

The bathroom is newly installed, and has enough room without being cramped.

We have a circle driveway which is perfect for our boaters. We host lots of people coming in to fish tournaments on Douglas Lake and Cherokee Lake.

Wifi is provided as well as Netflix.

Guest access
Guests will have full access to the guest house, and may use anything that is available in there.

Other things to note
Please bear in mind that this cabin shares the property with our main residence. While it is set away from the house, we do have children, so we ask not to have extra guests come and visit during your stay. Also, due to parking, we can only allow one vehicle unless prior approval is granted.

Whether you are traveling to or through Dandridge, our cute travel themed apartment is perfect for your stay! this newly refurbished apartment is located in Dandridge close to 2 different lakes. we have Douglas lake less than 5 minutes away and Cherokee lake about 20 minutes away. We are close enough to Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg to spend the day there at the amusement parks or whatever else you want to do, but far enough to keep you out of all the traffic and chaos.

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally located unit. Has open floor plan and large kitchen. Bathroom has been recently remodeled. The space
We are a four-unit apartment building. All units to be rentals with no long-term residents. We are local and here to help with anything you need, don't be shy about calling ANYTIME.

Plenty of room to bring your boat or any other lake toys. Parking clearly marked right across from units. Please no parking in grassy outside area around porch. We are a safe community and have cameras out but not responsible for items left outside so please secure all your belongings.

It's worth mentioning that we are an area that sees wildlife. If you are sipping morning coffee on the patio don't be surprised to see a deer. It is rare in our area but possible to see a bear or bear family. Please know it is illegal to feed the bears AT ALL. This is for their own safety. When bears become too comfortable around people, they are put down as a threat. Please admire but don't feed a bear.... ever. The saying is a fed bear is a dead bear. Be aware when driving in tree dense areas a critter who does not respect our road laws could pop out.

Guest access
The entire inside of the unit you rent plus the attached patio, barbecue grill outside your unit as well as the community yard and fire pit area.

Other things to note
Douglas lake is an amazing place. One of the top ten in country for largemouth bass. Lots of boat and Ski rental areas, even one at mountain harbor inn at the end of the street. The only grocery in town is Food City. They have all needs covered and full-service meat dept. Marthas has more specialty items. Food trucks are a big thing here FB group "Dandridge food truck Page" does a pretty good job of who is where. Also "I love Dandridge" is a good one to explore upcoming events locally and there are many.

If you have the time, take a simple walk down main street, if you have never experienced a small town, is a great experience. Drop into Tinsley Bible for a cheeseburger and milk shake from their soda fountain, you won't be disappointed. There are also a few boutique style shops that work hard to be current yet great at a view of our history.

Dollywood is 20 miles away
Sevierville is 18 miles away

We have stocked the kitchen and bathroom with basic essentials to get you started as a courtesy.

Kitchen- Coffee pot, coffee, sugar, tea, instant creamer, hot chocolate as well as ketchup, mustard, mayo, hot sauce, basic spices, oil, red wine vinegar and soy sauce.


One of the ways we are able to keep cost down is occupancy. We have one of the most liberal cancellation policies at 5 days out with zero penalty. Please consider travel insurance as any cancellation after five days will not trigger a refund. Rescheduling is also not allowed within the 5 day period, thanks for understand.

Located at Swann's Marina & Campground on beautiful Lake Douglas. We offer Boat Rentals and have a full service marina on-site as well a restaurant.

The space
Lake Daze Rental:
Check in is after 3pm. If you plan on arriving after 5, please call Swann's Marina & Campground for directions as what to do if they have not contacted you already. Check out time is 11am. There is a key pad entry. If there is anything that may be wrong upon your arrival, please let us know asap. If you have a pet, there is a fee of $25 per pet with a maximum of 2.
As you walk onto the porch, it is all screened in with furniture, TV, gas grill, and a stand-up outdoor heater. To the right is the entrance into the camper.
In the living area, as you walk in, there are two recliners and a full size bed. There is a TV, DVD player, movies and games. WIFI is “swannsguest” and you do not need to have a password.
The right side of the campers is a kitchen, storage area, table with seating for two and a full bathroom.
We supply all the towels, rags, hand towel, toilet paper, and toiletries for the bathroom. Please only flush toilet paper. Do NOT flush any type of flushable wipes, feminine products, etc.
The kitchen has everything you should need as well. There is a 2 eye burner. Above that in the cabinet is the microwave. Coffee maker, silverware, utensils, pots, pans, utensils, plates, and cups are provided.
We do not allow any smoking inside the camper. Please smoke outside. An ashtray is provided on the screened in porch. Please do not discard cigarette butts in the yard.
Upon checkout, please empty all trash and take to the dumpster. They are located by the bathhouse and at the back of the Millstone restaurant on-site. Also, please put all towels used in the laundry bag provided in the bathroom.

Guest access
Guests are able to use our Marina Store, docks and banks for fishing. We offer boat rentals onsite if you would like to make the day special. We also have a boat launch if you want to bring your own boat!

Other things to note
There is a refundable $75.00 deposit due upon check in. This can be secured with cash, credit or debit card. If you have a pet, there is a fee of $25 per pet with a maximum of 2.
Campground Rules and Regulations
1. Do not swim within 100 feet of any dock due to potential electric shock hazard.
2. Quiet Time is between the hours of 10 pm-8 am Sun-Thurs and 11 pm-9 am Friday & Saturday.
3. Fishing not permitted from the docks. Bank fishing is allowed away from the launch ramp.
4. The speed limit through the Campground is 5 mph.
5. Pets must be kept on a leash and always supervised. Owners responsible for clean up.
6. Fires are allowed in approved fire rings only when burn bans are not in effect. No bon fires.
7. No large gatherings are allowed without permission of the Campground Manager. This includes bands, DJs, large parties, etc.
8. Golf carts and other motorized vehicles may only be operated by valid driver’s license holders. Bicycles are allowed during daylight hours only. Children thirteen and under must wear helmets. Dirt bikes are not allowed on the property.
9. Be respectful of the tenants and their property, and employees of the Campground/Marina. Lewd behavior, nudity and profanity will not be tolerated at any time. If you invite guests, you will be responsible for their actions.
10. Minors may not be left unattended at any time.
11. No excessively loud engine noise or smoke is permitted.
12. No underage drinking use or possession of illegal substances is allowed by any Campground tenants or guests. Alcohol is permitted on the campsite and designated areas only.
13. Campground tenants and guests are not permitted to trespass on another tenants' property. Only access to the agreed upon site and campground facilities is permitted.
14. Fireworks are not permitted on the property at all.
15. Tenants are responsible for properly disposing of waste in designated areas. Please clean up after yourself when using Campground facilities, restroom, shower house, etc

Boat launch & beach area 3 min away; 5 min to marina for boat, kayak, canoe, tubing rentals. One of the best fishing lakes in TN! Knoxville 35 min. Well-behaved pets ONLY, leashed when outdoors. Access to my space is available for use of laundry and full kitchen.

The space
The suite is essentially a studio apartment with an extra bedroom. Main room with sleeper sofa and twin bed. Back room with twin bunk beds. Kitchenette with double sink, Full-size refrigerator, microwave, air fryer/toaster oven, 2-burner hot plate, Instant Pot, coffeemaker, utensils, etc. Private bath with tub/shower & toilet. Dedicated heat/AC with remote controller.

Guest access
Private access via stairs up to rear deck, where your entry door is. If stairs are an issue, access through my front door (4 steps) is an option.

Other things to note
Two vehicles maximum, pulled into right side of driveway. Be EXTRA careful backing out as my neighbor's mailbox has been hit more than once!

Return nightly before 11:30 PM (and quiet hours thereafter). After 9 PM please arrive EXTRA QUIETLY (no car door slams; please whisper; etc.) for sake of neighbors.

Well-behaved pets ONLY: Leashed at all times outside of suite.

Water access is difficult, but available for swimming at your own risk (not recommended for children).

The suite is part of my house, separated by a standard interior wall and a locked door. I DO, however, respect your need for privacy. And I want you to feel at home and enjoy yourselves thoroughly!
