My home has three bedrooms, a loft area 2.5 baths located 15 -20 min from Duke University, Downtown Durham, Hwy 40, Hwy 70, Hwy 85, Hwy 540 & 10 mins from RTP.

It’s in a quiet/safe neighborhood with food lion, Pharmacies, fast food 3 min, walk 5-10

The space
Guests can use the common areas of the house kitchen, living room, loft - general Business area - use Desk with chair, Porch chairs, exercise living room, living room where there is a TV, screened in Porch, lounge chairs available for yard.

Fully furnished house with cooking equipment or utensils, bed sheets, towels, internet access, community pool, washer and dryefr.

utilities: Please turn off lights when u leave your room.? Showers 15 to 20 mins. Excess wasteful utility usage will be billed to you. Pls Be considerate.

Don’t leave kitchen while cooking. Use Fan to avoid smell to consume the house. Please avoid frying foods. AirFryer or oven please. Pls spray kit kitchen if needed, to avoid obnoxious smells thru house, please be a responsible guest & avoid problems. Thanks

Washer available, allow 2 wash loads a week, use the "quick wash 36 mins" setting only. If you need to wash your clothes longer, use laundromat.

Unfortunately, people have abused the washer privilege, like over loading & using 60 minutes cycles for a few items. If I find that you are abusing the washer, I will ask you to wash your clothes outside the home.

Parking in the driveway, if there are 2 guests, I will park on the street. Guest park in driveway. If your car has an oil leak please do not park in driveway or street, you will have to park in public parking lot and walk to the house.

Oil leaks do not come off driveway or road, please understand $100.00 fine if you leave an oil stain.

5 - 10 mins walk to Food lion, cvs, Walgreens Mexican, Chinese, pizza and 2 gas stations nearby, 10 mins by car from Harris Teeter, Lowe’s, Walmart and Briar Creek - shopping, restaurants and movie theater. 5 mins down Sherron Rd from Burger King, Wendy’s, MacDonalds, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Pizza Hut , Cook-out, Subway, Japanese


Community pool available - you have to where a white wrist band down to the pool and tell them you are a guest if 307 hillview, no need to give anymore details please, do not mention Airbnb thanks

During your stay
You will be sharing the home with me, occasionally will go away on a weekend, I would let u know if I’m planning to. Due to insurance policy I only allow “guests”to occupy the house. Pls no outside guest in home.

Would be available by phone on weekends 24/7 if I’m not at home, pls call if I don’t respond by text. Emergency only work hours during the week call 919-956-4136.

I go to bed between 9:00 - 10:00 pm prefer u contact me before bedtime. During week, my work hours are 7:00 - 5:00 pm Monday - Friday, weekends I’m home.

Other things to note
You can use kitchen To cook meals, please stay in kitchen while cooking. Use fan, please no frying fish, chicken or meats in the house, Stir fry is fine. please use air fryer. Just don’t want cooking smell through the house. Please spray afterwards.

My place is not a hotel, but much better than a multi-beds hostel, u have your own room/privacy to relax.
Don't book if u are looking for a cheap place to spend your vacation on with expectations of a 5-star hotel. Only bother me with problems a renter would: you don't know how to use something or something is not working & etc.

The space
This spacious room for one or two people, (please use your discretion when booking as the mattress is a full size and it may be tight for some people to sleep on, but if you're comfortable with that then you should be fine. You will also have a decent size closet and drawers for all of your clothes.

This room is located in the basement of our house, you have your own private room, the main entrance is shared with one other airbnb guest, you have access to your own private room and bathroom.

Come relax in this calm, comfy space. Ours is a lived-in home on the busline, 3 miles from UNC and the Friday Ctr and just a 15-min drive to Duke. You’ll enjoy your own BR and a shared bath. You’re welcome to use the nice back deck and enjoy nature. We’re NC natives and can suggest sites to see plus arts, sports, and other events.
Please, NO smokers or picky guests! For a 5-star HOTEL experience kindly book one at 6-7 times the price. We love hosting and will give you a friendly, warm stay. :)

The space
IMPORTANT NOTE: The room and bathroom are in our shared home and therefore we are NOT able to host guests who are working with Covid patients or who are not fully vaccinated and boosted as we are.

Also note we are a non-smoking household due to severe allergies and asthma. WE DO NOT HOST SMOKERS because even smoking off premises and having smoke in your clothes causes severe allergic reactions and trips to the emergency room for us….Kindly be honest and if you smoke at all—-anything at all—-book another listing!

VITAL NOTE: If/when a guest smokes inside OR outside our home, there will be a fine of $500 cash that they must pay us directly PLUS they will be required to leave our home immediately with NO refund for any part of their reservation. The moral of the story??? If you are a smoker, look for another place to book!

Please be aware that we have three rescue dogs and two rescue cats. So, if you are not prepared for some barking, dog or cat hair, or the oh so fragrant smell of a distant litter box, then this is NOT the place for you. However, if you are laid back and would like to receive a lot of love from our sweet rescues, this is the perfect home away from home for you!

FYI, you’ll have your own door and key to enter at the front of our home; however please note that hallways are shared and from time to time, my daughter and I will use the downstairs toilet as needed. You are the only person who will be using the shower as we have two additional full bathrooms upstairs.

Please also note that our private kitchen is NOT available to guests. In your room, you will have a microwave, toaster oven, nice-sized mini fridge with small freezer in it, and coffee maker for all your food preparation and storage needs. We also provide a toiletries and "stuff you might forget" basket filled with items you may need, and a snack basket with some goodies just for you.

Should you need your clothes washed, we provide that additional service for $15 per load, which includes washing, drying, and detergent. We take care of washing and drying them for you and leave the folding up to you.

Finally , you’ll be happy to know that we have the highest speed Wi-Fi that our internet provider offers so you can work online, stream movies, etc with ease!

Guest access
Parking is available (for free) on either side of the street; please do not block the bus stop or any mailboxes or the mail carrier will not deliver the mail.

This is a well-established Chapel Hill neighborhood that has many professors, families, professionals, and retirees living here. It is quiet and safe, and feels like you are in the country though you are very near everything you could possibly want or need!

There are some nice hiking trails in the neighborhood and a sweet little park and playground with a creek, swings, play area, and picnic tables just a couple of blocks away.

In terms of location, you will be just 1.25 miles away from lots of shopping and restaurants including Trader Joe's, Food Lion, Starbucks, Chipotle, McDonalds, Massage Envy, Princess Nails, Walgreens, and lots more.

The neighborhood is very flat for bike riding or walking, and the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, UNC Hospitals, and the Friday Center are just 3 miles away.

During your stay
You can feel free to message me with any pertinent questions. Also we are happy to give rides to guests as a courtesy when we are headed in a particular direction.

If you don’t have a car, our neighbors operate a transportation business so you can always use their service or use the free public buses that stop right in front of our home. We also have a friend who drives for some of the ridesharing services and is available for airport pick up and drop off at the very reasonable rate of $30 each way (much cheaper than taxis).

After you book, just let us know if you’d like his number, and I will provide it.

Other things to note
Please note that pets MUST be approved in advance and the charge PER PET, (to be paid in cash to the host upon arrival) is $39 for the first three nights and $15 per subsequent night. All pets must be up-to-date on their rabies and other vaccinations and on preventative flea and tick medication. Again, ALL PETS MUST BE APPROVED BY HOST IN ADVANCE!

Also the comfortable twin bed has an equally comfortable trundle bed that pulls out from beneath it for a second guest. Second guests MUST be approved in advance and are $20 per night.

Our seven year old, sweet Labrador mix, Buddy, and our gentle Boxer, Mr Fezziwig, love to greet guests at the front door and our happy hound dog, Manchita, loves to be petted over the fence in the back yard when you get home. If you leave your door open, you may be visited by our mischievous cats, Tucker and Mochi. (Translation: If you don’t like dogs and cats and understand the things that come with them—like barking, fur balls, and litter boxes— our home is NOT the best fit for you.)
One thing is for sure—You definitely won’t be lonely with our furry babies greeting and checking in on you! 😊

Studiois in private home, often my guests extended. Quiet, safe area, cul de sac street, security system, free parking, furnished, small kitchen with little stove, microwave, fridge, everything that busy individual might need. Bedroom, living room, kitchen, big full bathroom, linen, and towels could be provided. The pool is in the community. Central air, laundry, Wi-Fi, utilities included. Long-term preferred.

The space
It is very nice and quiet. The house located in a cul-de-sac, backing to a small wooded area. So no common traffic.

Other things to note
Please, take into a consideration. I don't rent to a third party. If a person does not have their own account, it is an automatic rejection. People without rental history/reviews, please understand in this case I will most likely request a considerable cleaning fee, that will be refunded if the place clean and nothing was broke/ damaged. The studio is private, on the third floor. No elevator. Laundry is on the first floor. You will be parking on the left side of a driveway.
