- "Great place really great host. Lots of room! The pool in pictures is not there when we stayed. " - "Visiting family and we needed a place nearby. Host was pleasant and easy to communicate with. Enjoyed our stay there." - "Overall this was our first time having a rental with VRBO that did not go well. It started with not receiving the check in info until 15 mins after we were supposed to be able to check in, which was already a late check in, so we ended up driving around for a bit until we got the message from the host. Once we received the info we went to the house and found that the reality of the house was quite different from the description on the listing. There was no king size bed, no pool, and limited outdoor furniture. All beds were on incredibly tall bed frames, there were no top sheets on the bed and the pillow cases were all shams with fringe, which was kind of strange. Also there was not soap for hand washing, which was a minor thing but not expected. We were in town for a funeral and barely spent time at the house, but every time we were there we heard multiple dogs barking non stop. We assumed that it was the neighbor, but then after a second night of not sleeping well my father in law investigated and found that on the side of the house there were five dogs behind a locked gate in terrible conditions. These dogs were in upsetting conditions - kennel floors covered in poop, dirty water and the tarps that were supposed to be providing shade were in poor condition. Some of the dogs had been trying to dig out, and I felt absolutely horrible leaving them there. Overall the house was not as advertised and we were appalled by the dog conditions on the property."

- "No fault of the owners, but the initial booking was problematic. The rental price on VRBO, does not include the fees and cleaning, so the price looked really good initially. After the confirmation was received the owner informed us of the additional fees. Hoping VRBO will correct this for the owner. Outside of that the rental price and accommodations were great. The house was a perfect location for the funeral we were attending and only about 1 hour away from the Ontario airport. The house was expertly decorated and, had all the items we needed for our stay. Loved the washer/dryer. Beds were comfortable and living room and kitchen accommodated our party of 6. It was to cold to enjoy the backyard, but it looked nice. The owner answered any questions we had and checked in with us during our stay. The neighborhood was quite and close to where we needed to be. Grocery, drug stores and Starbucks within 15 minutes drive."
