This is my first experience at a hotel/resort of this quality, so it's possible I'm a bit shocked by the incredible staff. A couple minor complaints: 1) Air filters were disgusting. I mean they looked busted and we're more dust than filter. Like they hadn't been changed in 5 years or more. Maybe do a basic inspection of each room because some tiny details get overlooked. 2) The lounge chairs in the Herman Bungalow pool are oddly positioned. Ideally they'd be a bit lower in the water. But now I'm just being nitpicky. Such a minor thing. 3) Expired snacks in the room for purchase. Relatively harmless but still. I will say that they provided a credit for the air filter and expired food. A credit that definitely exceeded the monetary value of my notes, but also not something I was going for. We just mentioned them on our way out the door; I'd already signed for everything and was really happy with most everything I experienced here. I didn't say anything about the loungers since that's just a matter of personal preference. I'd highly recommend this place if you want a quiet spot away from too much hustle and bustle. "

The space
This listing is for a 2 bedroom home on 3 acres. There are other units and RVs on the property being rented to other airbnb guests long term.

**This property is off grid so we do get propane and water trucked in. We ask the guests to check the big propane tank it is behind the house and let us know if it is under 40%. So we can get it filled in a timely matter. The water tank is up on the hill a big black tank just feel the side of the tank and it will be hot and once you reach the water level it should be cooler. We do have the water trucked in on a regular schedule but for whatever reason let us know when there is low water. **

Desert Hot Springs is a small no frills kind of town, but in recent years it has been undergoing lot's of improvements and beautification projects.
Not to mention it is world renowned for its wonderful spas and mineral water. The neighborhood has a mixed crowd. If you want a beautiful, clean place to call home while on a job assignment and feel comfortable being around people from all walks of life then this is your place.

We allow up to 1 dog in unit.
Upon departure, clean up dog hair to the best of your ability. The cost of additional cleaning or laundering services due to excessive dog hair will be billed to the guest.
Promptly bag and dispose of all dog waste from the yard during your stay and at time of departure.
We request all dogs be up to date on vaccinations as required by state law.
Dogs are not allowed on furniture or beds. Bring your dog’s favorite blanket or bed.
Bring a pet crate and use whenever you must leave your dog unattended for a period of time. Never leave your dog unattended if it barks or chews when left alone.

Other things to note
Low water pressure. Water pressure has always been lower than I would want. It’s normal but not a strong pressure even after all our attempts to improve it.

Parking: we have space for one vehicle only in the carport. Not much street parking so please try to limit to one car only.

This is indeed the desert. Dust and critters are part of the package. The place will be professionally cleaned prior to your arrival and be have routine pest control. We don’t have too many critter invaders but as it gets warmer we start seeing more activity. No one is ever comfortable with bugs, but water bugs, crickets, gnats, and other insects are part of this habitat. Be mindful of your surroundings when walking outside, specially in the warmer months.

The room is inside our personal residence at The Villas, just off the I-10 freeway. It is a clean, quiet, comfortable and private 1 bdrm, 1 bath, 1 level rental. There is a new queen-size bed , and the adjoining full bathroom is not shared. The location is convenient to Spotlight 29 and Fantasy Springs Casino concert venues, restaurants/fast food, & sightseeing. There are mountain views by day and starry nights. The space
My little house Is a joy from the first moment you walk in so I've been told! With a very colourful and artsy feel, you can sense there is something very special about it immediately! I've had people stay from all over the world and the country and I been told this time and time again. You can read my guestbooks and see the lovely messages I've been so lucky to receive. I actually did short term rentals before with Airbnb from 2016 to 2023 but had to take a break until starting over again now. All those years I steadily remained a 5 star review status, and was one of the most popular SUPERHOSTS they had in that time period with many repeat guests. Problem is once you close your account like I had to do at the time, that all gets erased and your back to square one, so here we are starting over again now. I plan to break my own record again and make it even better this time for you guys, so I hope you'll join me in my endeavour!
The layout and size of the house is perfect for 1 to 6 travellers, be it for work or pleasure, it's perfection for all you will find. Spacious but cozy and comfortable in all regards for work, play, family and friends, everyone is welcome. I have supplied the whole house and each room with everything you need to live and enjoy your stay. You will find a complete and fully supplied kitchen with everything to cook, eat, dine and entertain with. The bathrooms have all the towels and basic toiletries you will need above what you would like to bring yourself. The bedrooms and beds have all the linens, bedding, blankets and pillows with extra to spare that you would need as well. There is also a nice washer and dryer for you to use when needed supplied with washing supplies, as well as any cleaning products you may wish to use.
I always tell my guests that i have tried to think of every single thing to have on hand that people may need or wish they had while on their stay, so if I missed something, please let me know! It will be appreciated!
ALSO, PLEASE NOTE: I GET ASKED ABOUT THIS A LOT AND I LIKE TO BE VERY PERCISE ABOUT DESCRIBING MY AMMENITIES TOO MY POTENTIAL GUESTS!
Before booking people want to know about the pool situation here in the park of course. Yes, there is a beautiful gated outdoor pool and jacuzzi but they require the owner goes with the their guests to the facilities, or guests can go themselves after 4pm on weekdays and all day on the weekends to use pool and jacuzzi as well. if you have any questions about this at all please contact me and I will be happy to tell you more about that. Nothing is written in concrete lol!

Guest access
The whole house is for you to use and enjoy as much as you wish. The privacy, quiet and serenity that you find there is a dream come true. Many people told me they did art there, played music, were able to write and compose, meditate and just be in peace and relax. You have the patio right outside your door where you can sit out in the evenings, enjoy a refreshment and gaze up at a million stars being away from the bright lights of downtown. There is also a little BBQ grill for your use.

Other things to note
The house is very easy to access from Highway 111 coming from the 10 Freeway, or coming from downtown. When you get here you just pull up on the driveway right next to the house under the carport. I love it because it's so easy to access and unload and load your viehcle. It is super safe and secure around there but its great to open the door and pop in your car at any time easily!
