Spare room has only a desk and bookcase so you can use the room as you need. Possibilities include a large closet, workout space, or setup an inflatable mattress for guests.

The space
The Barstow Bungalows are two units in a sparsely populated area, yet still close to town and the freeway.
Both units are available as short term rentals or month-to-month furnished rentals for working professionals. Please be courteous to your neighbor and park on your side of the driveway.

Each Bungalow entry leads into the living room. The living room has a couch that can be made into a bed for two. The kitchen has a full fridge, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, and all the utensils for cooking and eating. Coffee maker provided and coffee in the freezer.
Stacked apartment style washer and dryer provided.
Bedroom has a small dresser, night stands, and a queen size bed with fresh linens.
The extra bedroom has a desk, chair, and bookcase. The extra room has been left mostly empty so it can be used as needed (i.e. workout room, office, large closet). This room could also be set up as a bedroom if you bring an inflatable mattress.
Both units have new paint, flooring and appliances.
This is a great escape for those looking to off-road on the ATV’s and dirt bikes. Plenty of good riding right from the house. Ride to well known areas like Ocotillo Wells, Slash X, and Cafe 247! Plenty of room for a trailer for dry camping (with permission of course).

Other things to note
While navigating to the unit your GPS may take you on a more sandy road. You may want to look over the area on your maps app before following your GPS.
Our recommendation is once you are on Armory Rd you will pass a wash. Between the wash and the Desert Mana food bank there is a road you will turn right on.
Turn right before passing the food bank.
While on the dirt road it will split. Take the left side. The left side takes you down a little hill and you will see the Bungalows ahead to your right.
The Bungalows are the only units in the right side.

Queen bed with fresh linens in the bedroom. Spare room with a desk, two extra chairs, an extra dresser and room to use how you see fit. Left mostly empty so you can workout, use as an office or big closet. Can also be used as another bedroom if you have an inflatable mattress with you.
Living room has a couch and a flatscreen smart tv. Just log into your streaming service and you’re ready to go!
Kitchen is fully equipped for cooking. Microwave, toaster, coffee maker, gas stove are available. Coffee provided.
Small apartment style washer and dryer provided. Machine can only wash or dry at a time. It cannot do both at the same time.

Guest access
The entire bungalow (624) is yours to use. There is an identical unit next door, so please be courteous and keep noise to a minimum and park on your side.

Other things to note
GPS might be funky so please look at your map and get your bearings BEFORE heading out, especially if you are arriving after dark. It is a large desert behind and it will be difficult to navigate dirt roads in the dark.

Our unique little home sits on 1.6 acres in a rural area of Barstow called “The Heights.” Perfect for anyone with large trucks, RVs, or trailers, in that parking is essentially unlimited. Off-road enthusiasts will enjoy direct access to the desert and contractors are less than a mile from the 15 freeway. So no matter the reason for your visit, you’ll love being outside the city yet still within 2 miles of everything you could possibly need. Come give us a try, we think you’ll love it here.

The space
Our home is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath located on a non-thru street. Your nearest neighbor is at least an acre away. No one but you will be driving by, which makes us unique to any other listed properties in Barstow. There are a total of 2 queen beds in one room and 1 king in the other. Ceiling fans and mini splits (air/heat units) in every room so you can adjust the temperature to your liking. The bedrooms have light/noise blocking curtains and mounted TVs so you can watch your favorite shows while relaxing before bed. Full kitchen with complementary coffee fixins, water in the fridge and a complete laundry setup.

The space
Our home was built in 2005. It has a formal living room with piano and separate family room with TV. There is a formal dining room that seats five plus seating for four at the counter in the kitchen. The master bedroom is in the front of the house with separate shower and jacuzzi tub, and water closet with a door. The other three rooms are towards the rear of the house with one bathroom. All rooms are spacious and three of them contain a California King bed with space to walk around the entire bed. The children's room is furnished with twin bunks and a third twin bed.

The entire home is accessible, with the exception of the garage and master bedroom walk-in closet used for storage and supplies.
