Bright, inviting and filled with charm, this 1700 sq ft upper level duplex is a 3 bedroom, two bath guest house located on 10 acres in the country with a private entryway and drive. There is plenty of space, both indoors and outdoors, for relaxing and spending quality time with friends or family during your peaceful country retreat. The surrounding grounds include views of pasture land, farm animals, woods and a large pond. Guests are welcome to feed the pond fish and turtles, food is provided by the owners. (This is a NO FISHING pond.) This peaceful rental is an absolutely perfect place to get away from the fast-paced chaos of everyday city life and to slow down and enjoy the fresh air and peace and quiet of the country. Although located in the peaceful country, numerous restaurants, grocery stores, drug stores and other shopping are located within 6 to 10 miles. Property is located 20-25 minutes away from the Towns of Covington, Folsom, Mandeville and Abita Springs during non-rush hour, and is a one hour drive to New Orleans.

Or wind down on the back patio in the evenings with your beverage of choice while the tree frogs, crickets and cicadas lull you into a relaxed state of peace. Outdoor games include cornhole and giant Jenga. Relax and picnic by the pond, and enjoy feeding the pond fish and turtles (fish/turtle food available at no charge. Fishing is prohibited.)

Grilling is a favorite activity while your nestled in the trees watching the sunset. Coffee time is magnificent on the front porch while listening to the birds and watching the squirrels scurry thru the trees. Whether you're here to hike, read a book or family time you will enjoy all the amenities. The kitchen has a drawer full of many favorite herbs. The 2 burner stove with prep sink and range make it easy for 2 to prepare meals. Spacious bathrooms and comfy beds make for a nice stay and restful sleep. - "Everything was clean. Very beautiful home. There was 11 of us and we all fit perfectly. The only thing was the listing stated there was 4 bedrooms but there are only 3 bedrooms, 2 baths with a restroom downstairs. 2 of the rooms have queen size beds, the other room has two twin bunk beds. So a total of 4 twin size beds. Then the sectional in the living room pulls out into a bed, with someone being able to sleep on the other side of sectional. The bed sizes and total of beds are listed. Just have to read more carefully. Loved how it was secluded and away from everything. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend staying here. Will be returning in the near future. Thank you!"

Our CovLA cottage is quaint and well-appointed. Hardwood floors/tile throughout. All furnishings brand new. Luxury bedding with premium linens. Relax on the front porch swing or watch the large screen smart TV for your streaming pleasure located in the living area. Dining Room with six chairs. The "mini kitchen" includes a coffee cart complete with coffee, tea, sugar & creamer. A microwave, full refrigerator/freezer, & toaster oven complete the setup. (No cooktop or dishwasher). Silverware, utensils, dinnerwear glasses, paper products, snacks, and beverages included. Our bathroom has soft towels, a blow dryer, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, along with a variety of sundry items if needed. A washer/dryer complete with detergent is ready if needed.
