- "Upon arrival I was put in a unit that was NOT the one that I reserved online. I called the front desk and was advised that I’d have to speak w/ a VRBO rep due to booking through them. There was no comparable rooms available so after traveling all day I asked front desk if there was a 3 bedroom available b/c the amount of travelers we had needed to be accommodated by 3 beds. I was given a runaround from VRBO and assigned a case number which I had to use to call back the following day in order to communicate with VRBO and the front desk. I called 3 separate times and got nothing accomplished. I’m guessing everyone is happy because they got paid and I had to dish out more than I budgeted for . Will NEVER book through VRBO ever again."

You'll have access to one half of a large driveway where you can park at least 2 cars, plus street parking. The whole bottom floor of this stacked duplex is yours, with no shared interior space. Upper floor access is by exterior stairway.

Enjoy our small to medium sized back yard, which is shared with the upstairs unit if they are down there, and which is fenced on three sides, with no immediate neighbors on either side. Both units do have their own rear patio, (deck - upstairs unit) that runs the whole rear width of the building.

We monitor Airbnb messages from early morning till late at night and are available to you through Airbnb's messaging system to assist with any issues you may have and you can always message us for emergencies any time and we will get back in touch with you as soon as we can.

The property is the first house on the street, so you have quick access to highway 98, and are quickly on your way, east to Navarre Beach, Fort Walton, or Destin, or west to Gulf Breeze, and Pensacola Beach. You can put at least two cars on your half of the driveway, or three if you pull them up all the way. But there's also plenty parking on the street.

We will initiate all available measures through Airbnb to remediate any damage to the property such as the smell of smoke, discolored towels or sheets, or any other damage to the property and it's contents. This includes excessive cleaning required to get the place back in the condition it was in when you arrived.

1. Please wash your dishes / load and start the dishwasher before you leave us and take out the trash.

2. No parties, or large gatherings much beyond your stated number of guests.

4. Please use the water spigot on the side of the building to rinse any sand off of your self, your kids, and any beach gear, etc.

In the evening you just might find me unwinding in "The Den". Bring your favorite beverage and join me if you want. The suite is also perfect for single travelers as well.

We are about a 7 minute drive to the Santa Rosa Sound and a 10 minute drive to Navarre Beach. Parking is free at Navarre Beach. Both the gulf side and the the sound side for Navarre Beach offer nice sand, water, sunsets and sunrises.

A typical drive to Navarre Beach is 10 minutes, however holidays and peak season can increase the length of the drive. We a 4.5 mile drive.

This listing is for 1 bedroom. We have 2 additional bedrooms available on Airbnb on this side of the house. All 3 guest bedrooms share the bathroom. My husband and I live on the other side of the house in the master bedroom (with its own bathroom).

Please be mindful of volume when closing and opening doors when entering/exiting at night or early morning.

This cozy guest cottage has shiplap walls and a very warm and inviting interior. It's perfect for a quiet getaway for 1 or 2 people. Located in Pensacola's eclectic East Hill neighborhood it is close to downtown, restaurants and local shops. The cottage is best suited for guests over the age of 18 and is not equipped for small children.

I also have two sweet pups. Lily is a two-year-old white Havanese, and Hildy is a 10-year-old blonde dachshund.

The space
The shiplap walls and cozy decor make this a great little hideaway. There is a train that runs a few times a day. So if you are a light or late sleeper, I have provided earplugs.

You will have the Traveller's Cottage to yourselves. If you have a larger group you can also reserve space upstairs in the main house (2 additional private bedrooms, small loft and a bath - listed as EAST HILL CLASSIC). Beach chairs are available as well.

Other things to note
You are welcome to park on the long concrete drive (great for travelers with kayaks). Street parking directly in front of the main house is also OK; but as a courtesy, please do not park in front of a neighbor's house. There is a train closeby, so if you are a light or late sleeper, you may want to use the earplugs that are provided.

Our community also offers a shared pool (open in April - October).

I see guests more like roommates, feel free to join me when cooking in the kitchen or watching a movie. And if you prefer your privacy, there is plenty of space as the house has a split floorplan where the guest bedroom and bathroom are on the opposite side to the kitchen and my bedroom.
