There is a large dock with deep water access via boat. The lake is a 5 minute boat ride from the dock. You can even fish right off the dock in the front yard. However, the nearby Rigolets offer with incredible salt water fishing plus access to fresh water fishing within 20 minutes by boat.

- "Perfect space for a one person or couple. Extra space in the shower. Very thought out set up. Fully fenced with just enough space to get some private sun. Being able to cook saved money. The full fridge and freezer removed the concerns if leftovers or grocery items would fit. Great sized bed with plenty of pillow options to choose from. Air conditioning was AMAZING to walk into after +90 degree days. Having space available to lark the rental was also a major plus. Only small inconveniences were the slight lip going from the kitchen to the bathroom (tripped a couple times) no electric dishwasher or washer dryer. But the utensils were immaculate, I traveled solo, so doing a quick cleaning after eating made for nice routine / relaxation. There's a small coin laundry place just down the road if it is a major concern. If I come back solo or with my bride, this will be the first place I look for availability."

You’ll love my place because of the coziness, the views, the people, and the location. My place has 2rms with bunk beds, & 3rms with queen beds, 1 couch, 2 loveseats = sleeps 10-13. Plenty of stairs. If stairs are a problem for you don't come to my place..

The space
Two bedrooms are available for guests and there is a fold-out sofa bed in the sitting room for additional guests. This private home has two bedrooms and one bath available. It is my home but it is your home when you visit. It is beautifully decorated and has a very welcoming feel. Each bedroom has a keyed lock for your privacy. Common areas are spacious and have Roku (Netflix and more),not cable.

Enjoy your coffee on the spacious back porch. Listen to the birds call and watch the squirrels play. Play golf at the Pinewood Gulf Club, 4 minutes away. Enjoy the park just two blocks away. Perfect for a picnic or just a pleasant walk on trail.

There are security cameras at the front door and by the garage No interior cameras.

A dog lives in the home, but he will not be present with guests. He does not shed so hair will not be an issue.


AMENITIES

Coffee and tea service is provided. The bathroom contains ample towels, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner. In addition, I have a basket with toothbrushes, razors, make up remover, emery boards, toothpaste, hair dryer and other necessities that you may forget to bring.

Guest access
When you rent the home Host will not be on the property but can easily be reached and can be on site within an hour. This is my personal home and my bedroom will be be locked. Other than that you have full access to the home without interference and there will be no other guests.

Other things to note
To make this home comfortable for everyone please respect the following rules.

NO YOUNG CHILDREN
We do not permit toddlers or under school-age children. There may be some exceptions but we need to approve in advance. This is for safety and liability issues. Also light colored furnishings do not go well with young children.

NO SMOKING

You may smoke outdoors if you bring your own ashtray and dispose of the cigarettes and ashes properly. Absolutely no indoor smoking.

NO PETS

The exception is service dogs. There needs to be prior approval and there will be a pet deposit which is nonrefundable.

NO LOUD MUSIC when entering the neighborhood. Remember there may be other people here unless you rent the entire home. No loud music or loud talking outdoors after 10:00 PM. Neighbors bedroom faces the backyard and this could cause issues for them.

NO DRUNKEN BEHAVIOR

The space
We have a single story, single family 5 bedroom home on the canal in Eden Isles in Slidell, Louisiana, with boat access to Lake Pontchartrain and we love hosting our AirBNB guests.

We only host one party at a time, so you will be our only guests when you are here. Host and guest share the same main entrance to our home.

We want you to have a great experience, whether that is peaceful solitude, going out with us on our fishing boat, navigating the canal in kayaks, or relaxing in the pool. The choice is yours.

You will have your own bathroom. Only you and guests in your party will be using that bathroom while you are here. We also have two fully enclosed bathrooms outside by the pool and every bathroom has a shower as well.

If you have more people in your party (more than 2), then we have two more bedrooms to accommodate your extra guests up to six people total. Keep in mind that each guest after two will be charged $50 per person per night as an additional charge.

If you are bringing a boat, there is a boat launch next to the Blue Crab restaurant in Slidell. They charge $10 to launch your boat.

And you can keep your boat tied up to our dock for your entire stay.

Other things to note
Perfect setup to work remotely. Also great if you love boating/fishing/kayaking or relaxing. We can take you fishing out on Lake Pontchartrain on our boat. We have two more rooms available and can accommodate more guests if needed for $50 each additional person per night.

We offer seasonal experiences such as crawfish boils (Jan-May), cooking up blue crabs caught off our dock, teaching you how to fish, Saints games in the Superdome in New Orleans, alligator boat tours, local Mardi Gras parades (late Feb - early March) and more if you are interested. Simply inquire about these in the chat.

We have a level 1 EV/PHEV J1772 plug charger if you want to charge your electric vehicle during your stay.

We have three guest bedrooms. Two of the rooms have queen size beds, and one room has a king size bed.

We have one guest bathroom inside the home and two bathrooms, including indoor showers next to the pool.
