The home is equipped with everything you need. There are 4 bedrooms, 3 with queen beds and one bunk room with 2 bunks (4 twin beds). The kitchen is fully stocked. There is a laundry room with washer and dryer. The living room has a 65” tv with streaming available. There is WiFi and an office space in the master. The master also has an exercise bike and hand weighs for your use. The backyard has a large octagon picnic table and a gas grill all located under the shady trees for your enjoyment. The front porch has a seating area to enjoy your morning coffee. Rest assure, you will have everything you need to enjoy your stay at our little slice of Heaven!

My husband and I would like to welcome everyone to our relaxing house in the heart of Old Mandeville. You will love it and not want to leave.

Our house is only steps away from Mandeville’s Beautiful Lakefront which is perfect to take a leisurely walk, jog, ride bikes or just sit and enjoy the views and sunsets. There are children’s playgrounds on both ends and a splash pad at the end of the lakefront near our house.

The city boat launch is across the street at the harbor for those who want to bring a boat or book a fishing trip with Wicked Fishing Charters which leaves from the launch. They also offer sunset cruises and kayak rentals.

The Tammany Trace Bike Trail is right down the street. It is originally a corridor for the Illinois Central Railroad and now is Louisiana’s first rail-trail. The bike path runs from Downtown Covington to Slidell.

Old Mandeville offers great restaurants, pubs, gift shops, Saturday outdoor markets, churches and so much more, all within walking and biking distance.

New Orleans' French Quarter, Audubon Zoo, Aquariums of the America, The National WWII Museum, even Jazz Fest and Mardi Gras are less then 45 minutes away!

The town house is located right on the lake and the views are incredible. The town house was just as described and the beds were very comfortable. We had a little hiccup, but Nick was more than willing to come through and rectify the situation (which was by no fault of his). I would definitely stay here again, the location is perfect as is the views and Nick was an absolute wonderful host. My only let down was that we didn’t see any gators. Lol"

The Claiborne suite in old Mandeville is located one block off of Lake Pontchartrain and two blocks from Girod Street filled with restaurants and shopping. - "I'm really not sure how we were so lucky to find this property - it was everything we wanted for a long weekend and more. Often with rentals the pictures look great and set high expectations for a trip, and reality just doesn't quite live up to the magic of the pictures. This property is EXACTLY what you see in the posted pictures. It's crazy, in the most wonderful way. Sturdy, whimsical, quirky, unique, comfortable, secluded, spacious, convenient, clean. Just a few words that come to mind when thinking back on our vacation. We love "places with spaces," and this property has so many individual spaces with character. The pool is beautiful and clean - and very well lit at night. The area around the pool is comfortable and spacious. A couple can choose from multiple places to relax, or a group of 10 could easily spread out and find their own spaces. Two fire pits, the covered area with pool table, the extended patio from the kitchen with outdoor curtains, or the kitchen itself, which can be closed up and heated/cooled or left open on all sides to enjoy the breezes while you cook. The living room was a great place to watch the big game, with a large smart TV - and the doors along the side of the living room all open and the flexible TV mount allows for viewing from the pool as well. We were blessed with perfect weather and left this room fully open for most of our vacation. The master bedroom is like a little fantasy suite - again very quirky and unique. I don't believe the master shower is pictured, but it is large and has jets in every direction. There is a good sized closet in this room as well to unpack without cluttering the room. As with the living room, the bedroom doors can be completely opened to the outside. The second bedroom is comfortable and spacious, has a full bath with another large shower, and is connected to a laundry room with a second full sized refrigerator. There is a well-equipped exercise room and a very cool game room. And all of this is behind a private gate with a remote. Marcus is a fantastic host and we were so glad that he was on site when we arrived to give us a full tour and show us controls for the pool, lighting, gate, etc. He was also very responsive during our stay when we had some questions that were not related to the property. We will be returning to this property and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway."
