The home is equipped with everything you need. There are 4 bedrooms, 3 with queen beds and one bunk room with 2 bunks (4 twin beds). The kitchen is fully stocked. There is a laundry room with washer and dryer. The living room has a 65” tv with streaming available. There is WiFi and an office space in the master. The master also has an exercise bike and hand weighs for your use. The backyard has a large octagon picnic table and a gas grill all located under the shady trees for your enjoyment. The front porch has a seating area to enjoy your morning coffee. Rest assure, you will have everything you need to enjoy your stay at our little slice of Heaven!

My husband and I would like to welcome everyone to our relaxing house in the heart of Old Mandeville. You will love it and not want to leave.

Our house is only steps away from Mandeville’s Beautiful Lakefront which is perfect to take a leisurely walk, jog, ride bikes or just sit and enjoy the views and sunsets. There are children’s playgrounds on both ends and a splash pad at the end of the lakefront near our house.

The city boat launch is across the street at the harbor for those who want to bring a boat or book a fishing trip with Wicked Fishing Charters which leaves from the launch. They also offer sunset cruises and kayak rentals.

The Tammany Trace Bike Trail is right down the street. It is originally a corridor for the Illinois Central Railroad and now is Louisiana’s first rail-trail. The bike path runs from Downtown Covington to Slidell.

Old Mandeville offers great restaurants, pubs, gift shops, Saturday outdoor markets, churches and so much more, all within walking and biking distance.

New Orleans' French Quarter, Audubon Zoo, Aquariums of the America, The National WWII Museum, even Jazz Fest and Mardi Gras are less then 45 minutes away!

The town house is located right on the lake and the views are incredible. The town house was just as described and the beds were very comfortable. We had a little hiccup, but Nick was more than willing to come through and rectify the situation (which was by no fault of his). I would definitely stay here again, the location is perfect as is the views and Nick was an absolute wonderful host. My only let down was that we didn’t see any gators. Lol"

The Claiborne suite in old Mandeville is located one block off of Lake Pontchartrain and two blocks from Girod Street filled with restaurants and shopping. - "I'm really not sure how we were so lucky to find this property - it was everything we wanted for a long weekend and more. Often with rentals the pictures look great and set high expectations for a trip, and reality just doesn't quite live up to the magic of the pictures. This property is EXACTLY what you see in the posted pictures. It's crazy, in the most wonderful way. Sturdy, whimsical, quirky, unique, comfortable, secluded, spacious, convenient, clean. Just a few words that come to mind when thinking back on our vacation. We love "places with spaces," and this property has so many individual spaces with character. The pool is beautiful and clean - and very well lit at night. The area around the pool is comfortable and spacious. A couple can choose from multiple places to relax, or a group of 10 could easily spread out and find their own spaces. Two fire pits, the covered area with pool table, the extended patio from the kitchen with outdoor curtains, or the kitchen itself, which can be closed up and heated/cooled or left open on all sides to enjoy the breezes while you cook. The living room was a great place to watch the big game, with a large smart TV - and the doors along the side of the living room all open and the flexible TV mount allows for viewing from the pool as well. We were blessed with perfect weather and left this room fully open for most of our vacation. The master bedroom is like a little fantasy suite - again very quirky and unique. I don't believe the master shower is pictured, but it is large and has jets in every direction. There is a good sized closet in this room as well to unpack without cluttering the room. As with the living room, the bedroom doors can be completely opened to the outside. The second bedroom is comfortable and spacious, has a full bath with another large shower, and is connected to a laundry room with a second full sized refrigerator. There is a well-equipped exercise room and a very cool game room. And all of this is behind a private gate with a remote. Marcus is a fantastic host and we were so glad that he was on site when we arrived to give us a full tour and show us controls for the pool, lighting, gate, etc. He was also very responsive during our stay when we had some questions that were not related to the property. We will be returning to this property and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway."

This Tentrr site offers great seclusion near a beautiful pond on the eastern side of the park. This is the shadiest Tentrr area in the park, with a beautiful canopy of trees and a lovely view of the pond. It's perfect for smaller groups or a nice getaway for you and your loved one!

Located on the north shore of Lake Pontchartrain only one hour from New Orleans, Fontainebleau State Park was once the site of a sugar cane plantation. Today, Fontainebleau State Park offers 2800 acres for campers to enjoy and explore. Fontainebleau is surrounded by water on 3 sides and provides countless options for activities, including fishing, boating, swimming and sunbathing on the sandy beach of Lake Pontchartrain. There are nature trails to hike and explore - keep your eyes open for the many different types of birds who make their homes in the park! There is an old railroad track that has been converted into the Tammany Trace by the Rails to Trails program, which serves as an excellent path for biking, walking or inline skating.

This campsite is equipped with a pre-set sturdy canvas tent on it's own wooden deck platform. The tent is furnished with a queen-size memory foam mattress and side tables. A picnic table, fire pit with a grill, a solar shower, and portable camp loo are also provided, and campers are able to use the park's restroom facilities as well. There is an additional pop up tent provided for extra guests, but you will have to bring your own air mattresses/sleeping pads for this tent.

This site does require about a 10 minute walk to access. We recommend bringing a wagon or something similar to help bring your supplies to the tent. No mosquito netting available

Fontainebleu State Park is located in Mandeville, on the North shore of Lake Pontchartrain. The park is only about an hour from New Orleans. Fontainebleau has a deep rooted history, with ruins to see in the park and an amazing visitor center to visit. Today, Fontainebleau State Park offers 2800 acres for campers to enjoy and explore. Fontainebleau provides countless options for activities, including fishing, boating, swimming and sunbathing, on the sandy beach of Lake Pontchartrain. There are nature trails to hike and explore - keep your eyes open for the many different types of birds, deer, and other wildlife who make their homes in the park! Additionally, an old railroad track that has been converted into the Tammany Trace by the Rails to Trails program. This serves over 20miles of the surrounding communities as an excellent path for biking, walking or inline skating.

Located approximately 1.2 miles from the park entrance, Woodland L is a partially shaded site. You will be able to drive your car up to the site and park behind the tent and this site is a good option for campers with limited mobility or with young children who do not want a hike-in site.

The site features a spacious 10 x 12 platform tent with a queen bed as well as a pop-up tent that can accommodate 4 additional campers. A picnic table, firepit and two Adirondack chairs are also included. There is a Tentrr Loo (camping potty) at your campsite for convenience. Campers will also have access to a modern bathhouse for showers and park restrooms just across the street from the campsite.

The site features a spacious 10 x 12 platform tent with a queen bed as well as a pop-up tent that can accommodate 4 additional campers. 2,300 square foot home located in a quiet neighborhood with a tennis court, a ball field, basketball courts, and a community pool. 40 minutes from downtown New Orleans and the French Quarter. 10 minutes to the Mandeville lakefront with great restaurants and shops. You'll pretty much have the house to yourself as the owner is hardly home. "PARTIES/EVENTS NOT ALLOWED!

Before arrival, I usually request that you call me an hour or so before you arrive, so I can be there to open the gate for you vehicle and show you to your bedroom suite.

We welcome any interaction with our guests, however, we will always respect your privacy. There is no required interaction—its up to you to come and go at your own discretion.

There will always be a care taker on the premises who lives in a separate private apartment. There is a very friendly dog on the premises, but he is confined to certain areas. We would also love to provide recommendations for restaurants, local attractions, and are happy to accommodate your requests as best we can.

New Orleans is just 45 minutes away.

In the Spring and Fall, concerts at the Trailhead and the Famous Dew Drop Inn are nearby. There are sling chairs for you to take to the concerts or a lakefront picnic!

Two bikes are available for you to explore the area and take on the Tammany Trace Bike Trail, which is right down the street. It is originally a corridor for the Illinois Central Railroad and is now the first rail-trail from Downtown Co Winston to Slidell.

When you are ready to relax, enjoy the comfort of your cozy quiet studio with your own private deck. The deck has a grill and an outside shower-just for you and steps away from a beautiful garden pool!

Walking distance to great restaurants, pubs, gift shops and churches.
There is a city boat launch across the street. Bike path a few blocks away which runs from Covington to Slidell.
The home has an incredible porch where a nice breeze blows from the lake.

The space
The den and all of the bedrooms have French doors that open onto the porch. The cottage is very cozy and comfortable. It is a true relaxing get away but yet less then 45 min away from all of the busy life that New Orleans has to offer.

Guest access
The whole house is yours to enjoy! Two bedrooms plus a sofa bed in the den. There is also a pac n play for your use.

Must be 25 years old to rent. We do not allow bridal groups or groomsmen parties to rent anymore due to bad experiences!
