Want to see some sights? The locale of Moclips makes it nicely situated for day trips to the Olympic National Park’s rainforests and wild ocean beaches. Ocean Shores is a 20 minute jaunt down the scenic coast (highway 109) with shops, restaurants, beach festivals, and the Quinault casino. A two-night stay in Moclips can be worked into a terrific Pacific Northwest tour. Northern destinations include Forks (scenic setting of Twilight), Hurricane Ridge or a ferry to Victoria on Vancouver Island of British Columbia.

This is a great place for lots of beach fun, quiet solitude or Olympic Peninsula adventure.

NOTE RE CELL PHONES: Cell service throughout the Moclips area is poor, and more so at the house. There are only a few spots in the house where voice may be possible, depending on your service provider (Verizon seems to work best), a few more spots where texting works. There is a VOIP landline, free service for domestic long distance calls.

NOTE RE TV: The only T.V. is in the bedroom with the trundle bed, there is a limited selection of videos and DVDs. The T.V. is a 32" smart flat screen, with wireless connectivity for Netflix, Hulu, etc and it's easy to move to another room. There are additional cable outlets in the other downstairs bedroom, and in the loft, but no extra hook-up cables. The cable channel selection is limited, see the basic cable lineup at Coast Communications.

They even gifted us with a kid's beach bucket and treat which we made good use of! House is right on the beach and the sunset views are incredible. The only down side is that cars are allowed on this stretch of beach and on certain days there was quite a lot of traffic with some parking on the beach area in front of the house."

We have a well-maintained yard complete with a cozy picnic area with table and lawn chairs. A private roped walk through the dune grass leads to the wide, sandy beach just waiting for you to explore. Beach fires, kite flying, sandcastle building, shell collecting are all within steps of our front door. The beach is very gradual and is one of the few area beaches excluded from any vehicular traffic (April 15-September's Labor Day Week-end), which makes it a great place for small children. We are within walking distance of the Moclips River which offers exploring along its shores and trails of its moss-clad forest.

Crab Cottage is a dog-friendly, little unassuming cottage right on the beach. Walk in the front door, and you will see gorgeous views out the west windows. To your left are a small but efficient kitchen and dining area. The rest of the downstairs has the bathroom and living room with gas fireplace and a full-size Murphy bed. A narrow fixed ladder with rail takes you upstairs to the loft, where two additional double beds will be found (ladder weight limit 200 lbs).

The backyard has a great deck and a firepit. And of course, miles of beach. This home is perfect for the fisherman, surf kayaker, or beach bum, and is ideal for relaxing. There is a small television with DVD player, so bring your favorite movies or games and relax the night away. This home is all about getting away and spending quality time with friends and family. Parking is limited, with space for a vehicle on the south side of the home, and one in front.

WiFi is very slow and spotty weather it’s going to load anything, if you’re traveling with children that are tablet kids make sure you have downloads of their shows or very old school and bring some DVD’s to entertain them in the evening. The beach access path is just two houses to the south, clearly marked. The kitchen is open to the living area, with a cozy dining nook tucked in the corner. The living room has a comfortable sleeper sofa. It is from this room that you will enjoy your beach and ocean views beckoning you!

There is a television with Blue-ray DVD player (bring your favorite movies), as well as Hulu and NetFlix. The bedrooms both offer full sized beds. Sit on the front porch and enjoy the gentle sea breezes as you sip your favorite beverage. There is a spacious backyard for the youngsters to play in as they anticipate their next trip to the beach.

Moclips is a quaint coastal town located along the Pacific Ocean. It is one of five communities of the North Beach. The other four communities consist of Ocean City, Copalis Beach, Pacific Beach, and Seabrook. All five communities offer a relaxing environment for strolls on the beach, enjoying a campfire or storm watching. There are many beach activities; including clamming, fishing, kayaking, swimming, hiking, or taking a short trip to the Quinault Rain Forest and the Olympic National Park.

This is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath home and comfortably accommodates a maximum of 6 people. There are 2 bedrooms upstairs, 1 bedroom downstairs and a bathroom on each floor. There is a washer and dryer in the downstairs bathroom. The living space is also on the upper floor with a view to the ocean.

The TV is set up for streaming and sits right above the cozy electric fireplace. Both can be enjoyed from the sofa (which turns into a comfortable queen-size sleeper). If duty calls, there's a sweet little work area in the entry. After a long day at the beach (easy beach access is a short 1-mile drive in either direction), enjoy a soak in the covered hot tub with its view of the ocean, or try the vintage-style clawfoot tub. The cottage is filled with natural light, and the bedroom faces the ocean with large windows for a great view and a French door that opens to the back deck.

Moonstone Beach House was built in 2009 right on the beach by Moclips Beach Rentals. This four bedroom property sleeps 11 in beds. This is the only beach with no cars from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Large private hot tub. You can see more info by searching for us!

Superb panoramic views to the north and south facing the ocean. Two bedrooms upstairs, one with a 'loo with a view'. Two bedrooms downstairs. One with a queen bed and one with twins and bunks that sleeps four.

A couple of notes for readers: -The property owner requires an additional $500 deposit (via Zelle, cash, etc). This is refundable AND we did receive a refund very quickly, but this was not noted in the listing, so I wanted to give a heads up. -If your party has a member (or multiple members) with mobility issues, you should know that the entrance to the house is one flight up and the main entrance with the lock is a rather tight, steep spiral staircase. There are much more reasonable stairs in the back that you can access as well but no way to unlock the back door if you are entering the house for the first time, etc. Neither my husband nor I have mobility issues so this was not an issue for the two of us, but when we first entered, my husband unlocked the door at the spiral staircase, then unlocked the glass doors in the back and then we used the back door to get our things into the house. The above said, we would not hesitate to return. It was unbelievably quiet and peaceful when we were there."

The view at the Blue Pearl is amazing! You can enjoy it from the comfort of your deck, living room or kitchen. Walk merely 60 steps to the sandy beach using the maintained beach access trail directly in front of the home!

The amazing view is available at a small price … there are stairs … about 30 into the lower level. They are sturdy and wide. This property would not be appropriate for someone who has difficulty walking up or down stairs. It is not wheelchair accessible.

Inside you will find a well-stocked kitchen with most everything you need to prepare meals including complimentary spices, coffee and tea, and beverage condiments as well as cleaning supplies. We also provide a crock pot, electric fry pan and electric griddle. Linens, towels and paper products are provided. Please bring your own beach towels. There is one bedroom in the lower level with a queen bed, tv and DVD player. There is a small sectional couch in the living room, perfect if you bring along a couple of kiddos or a third adult. In the living room, there is a smart TV connected to cable and a DVD player with a variety of DVD movies. There is also a wireless speaker. We have a variety of games, puzzles and books for all ages! The washer/dryer is located in the lower level.

The Captain's Quarters is a Beautiful 1 bedroom 2 bath home located right on the beach in Moclips with outrageous ocean views. The bedroom downstairs has a queen bed in the bedroom with a TV. There is a twin bed right outside the bedroom (with another TV), with views of the ocean. There is a bathroom with double sinks and a shower on the first floor. The Sea Smoke House is in Moclips Washington acrossed the street from the beach. It has ocean views, a wrap around deck, and a fully fenced in yard for your dog. As well as a newly added Hot tub.

There is about 14 steps on one side of the garage that leads up the house with rubbing gripping on them.

This bright and charming vintage cottage is rustic, comfortable, and brimming with character. The kitchen has recently been completely renovated with new cabinets, appliances, and amenities, including a professional gas stove. The living room has an airy beach vibe. The TV is set up for streaming and sits right above the cozy electric fireplace. Both can be enjoyed from the sofa (which turns into a comfortable queen-size sleeper). If duty calls, there's a sweet little work area in the entry. After a long day at the beach (easy beach access is a short 1-mile drive in either direction), enjoy a soak in the covered hot tub with its view of the ocean, or try the vintage-style clawfoot tub. The cottage is filled with natural light, and the bedroom faces the ocean with large windows for a great view and a French door that opens to the back deck.

Enjoy a beverage or meal on the sprawling and well-appointed back deck with its lounger chairs, gas BBQ, and dining table, which overlook the hammock, wood-burning fire pit and the ocean beyond. In inclement weather, you still have a gorgeous view of the ocean from almost every room in the house, a telescope to see wildlife, and a bookcase filled with books and games. Booking one of our properties in Moclips Beach? In this little community, you'll find an array of seaside activities for you, your friends and family to venture into.

Fly a kite in a contest, build a sand sculpture or go sea kayaking. There are numerous nearby state parks that are perfect for hiking, surfing or just an afternoon stroll along the beach.

During the spring and summer, you'll be able to bird watch or go crabbing. If it's warm enough, take a surfing lesson or go fishing, so you can catch something for dinner later!

Visiting us during the colder months is perfectly okay, too. There are beachside restaurants and museums between Moclips Beach and Ocean Shores that will keep you busy, while still being able to enjoy those stunning views.

We are available to assist you every day of the year if you have any questions or concerns before, during or after your visit to our home. We have onsite property management available 24/7 for anything concerning that may arise.

MANAGED: This managed property needs good guest behavior and adherence to instructions, rules, terms, conditions, and requires online registration, accidental damage protection, and electronic signature before final booking confirmation, or you may cancel before proceeding at that time. Phones open 9am to 7pm every day. IF dogs area allowed, there is a quantity and weight limit, with a per-day, per-dog fee. For security, there may be outwardly facing security cameras, capable of constant recording depending on staffing. There may be interior decibel meters to report excessive noise. To allow enough time for full cleaning, check-In time is 5pm and Check-Out is 11am. Bookings over 29 days are with Prospera Property Management.

Be sure to check out the town of Seabrook which is only a 5 minute drive from the house. They have shopping, restaurants, Ice Cream/Candy shop, and a market.
