Bring the family and enjoy our Sandy Toes Cottage. We hope you will enjoy it as much as we do. In 2007 our family went suddenly from two kids to four. We are a busy family and found that by the time we got done packing we were already worn out and we hadn't even been anywhere yet! So, we have furnished it with convenience for families in mind. The kids' room has two bunk beds and sleeps 4. There is a queen bed in the master bedroom, with a memory foam mattress. There are plenty of linens, so you don’t need to pack extra blankets.

Westport is a fishing and ship building community that is quickly developing a reputation for great recreation as well. The beach is not at all crowded and sometimes even deserted if you get lucky. We have provided beach toys and chairs to share (because we were tired of packing them too!!!) We have provided things like a highchair and bed rail for the littlest visitors. We have a fully equipped kitchen including some extras like a bread machine and rice cooker. After a day at the beach the kids can play with all the toys, read a book or watch a movie while mom or dad makes dinner or takes in a movie as well.

The town of Westport has go karts, fun shops with nick knacks, fudge and saltwater taffy, a fleet of charter boats ready to take you fishing or whale watching, and a historic lighthouse. All of this can be reached by biking or hiking down the paved dune trail just down the street from Sandy Toes.

- "We picked the perfect escape for my wife and I, and especially our dogs. It was so much fun watching our city dogs run wild and unleashed on the beach (just a short walk away). Even when it was sunny, we had the section of the beach closest to the cottage all to ourselves. The cottage was clean, homey, and had a bunch of fun amenities. The bicycles, dog toys, board games, charcoal bbq, and the somewhat private hot tub provided us with hours of entertainment. The tallest light house in the state is just a block away, and comes with a fascinating history lesson. On the way in to Wesport, grab some brats from Bay City Sausage and grill them on the deck. The only negative. . . Don't forget your OFF! and citronella! "

I agree with other reviewers that the jump down to the beach from the path was a little challenging especially with kids but that was part of our adventure. I thought we could ride from the house but we had kids with training wheels and small bikes so that wouldn't work."

Work or homeschool at the beach. Grandma's House is 2 Bedrooms, including a queen in one room and a queen and twin in the other. We just installed a 2-3 person hot tub with a privacy fence. The large yard is fenced in and friendly for kids and pets. There is a firepit with wood provided. The roomy bright kitchen has everything you need to prepare your own meals. There is a washer and dryer and a full bathroom. The house is centrally located a short drive to the beach and the docks. Smart TV with Roku and Wi-fi are included. We have provided bikes, an umbrella stroller, kites, toys, including sand toys and games for the kids as well as books and movies.

The location is good...very close (about 5-6 minute drive) to beaches, restaurants, espresso stand and grocery store. Half Moon Bay is absolutely clean and a beautiful beach! The road the home is located (S Forrest) the cars go by very fast so be cautious if walking kids/dogs. Also the mosquitos (these tiny brown things called (No-see-ums) apparently called as they are so tiny they are difficult to see are vicious. I was bit over 30 times on a 45 minute walk. The next day I wore mosquito spray, but still managed to get bit a few more times. They go under loose clothing too. Overall Grandma's House and Westport was awesome. I just hated the mosquitos!"

Shore's Edge is an ocean front home - guests are renting the 'left' side of the duplex. We cater to small families/groups and singles wanting a quiet stay at the beach. Our maximum occupancy is 4 guests total. With exception and advance communication and discussion/approval/fee, we may allow 5 guests. We may allow 5 guests if a family has 3 kids or traveling with a parent or grandparent. If you wish to reserve the home or have further questions - please email us with a tidbit about your guests and what brings you to the coast. Shore's Edge is a two-level home. Parking is directly in front of the home. Guests enter the lower level. The lower level has two bedrooms, the bathroom and washer/dryer. The primary bedroom is king bed, and the second bedroom is a queen.

The upper level is an open floor plan - living room, dining and kitchen. Enjoy ocean views while cooking, eating, playing a board game or watching TV. The wood stove (wood provided) adds to the atmosphere on a winter coastal night.

There is a 50-inch Smart TV with 70 plus live and local channels available on YouTubeTV. Guests may use their Amazon, Netflix or Disney, etc accounts on the TV. Xfinity internet is available. We have a selection of board games.

The oceanside deck offers a nice variety of quality outdoor furniture. There is plenty of room for a BBQ, outdoor dining or conversing with the ocean view. The backyard has additional seating and a picnic table. The private beach path leads to the ocean. Midway there is a bench that is perfect for ocean watching.

Guests can enjoy our one of a kind nautical themed firepit den. It's an excellent space to enjoy an evening fire or just sit and converse or read a book. Fires must not be left unattended and must be completely extinguished before leaving it for the night. At times there may be county or state burn bans which prevent the fire pit from being used.

On the side of the home is an enclosed dog turnout area. We are dog friendly, with a 2-dog maximum. We will consider more than 2 dogs, but prior discussion and approval is required. Dogs are not permitted to be on the furniture or bedding. Dogs must be cleaned up after and must be on a leash while on property - dogs can't be allowed to roam onto neighbor's properties. If you are not in agreement with the above, then we are not a good option for you - please do not reserve the home. If you do want to bring your dog and are in agreement with our rules, send us a tidbit about your dog with breed, age etc.

Our section of beach does not allow car traffic from mid-April thru Labor Day. It is an excellent stretch of beach for walking, taking the dog out and searching for sand dollars, rocks and shells. During winter storms, the stair portion of the beach access may at times get washed away.

After hosting an extended stay family (year plus stay) at La Casita Sea Esta, we are now again hosting vacation rental guests. Prior to re-opening we've made several upgrades - new loveseat and new queen mattress and all new bed and baths linens.

Welcome to La Casita Sea Esta - located in a great location referred to as "midtown Westport." Being a smaller home, La Casita Sea Esta boasts an excellent floor plan and functions larger than its true size. You've heard location, location, location and La Casita certainly offers that. We are an easy walk to the beach, the Westport lighthouse as well as the 2.5-mile walking/biking trail along the water. We are a short walk from several restaurants, espresso/coffee, tavern and grocery store.

The home offers a spacious kitchen and is well supplied with updated appliances and all the cookware and gadgets you'd find at home - possibly even more!

The living room features a ROKU SMART TV with 70 channels provided on YouTube TV. Use your Amazon or Netflix account, DVD player, two comfortable recliners and loveseat. There is a selection of DVDs, books and games. A strong Comcast internet connection is also provided.

Both bedrooms have queen size mattresses. The mattresses and linens are of nice quality. The bedrooms are bright with nature light from the large windows, and each offers a nice view to the wooded backyard.

The bathroom is a 3/4 bath - shower only. Body wash, shampoo and conditioner and hand soap are provided. Along with bath towels.

The backyard living area is private and offers a fantastic space for quality time relaxing, dining or cooking a meal on the BBQ. Take a nap in the hammock or relax on the porch swing. Have a cozy evening by the fire pit and play a game of corn hole. From the outside you can hear the fog horns and often the ocean too. The kids' area has sandbox; beanbag toss board and a fun woodsy area to explore! The woodsy outdoor setting and outdoor living space combine for a truly unique experience likely offered in few other homes in the area.

An outdoor sink is available for guest use to clean those razor clams, crabs or your fish cleaning.

We are pet friendly but first must communicate with guests about their dog. Please contact us and we'd be happy to discuss the arrangements. There is a $25 non-refundable pet fee. Failure to disclose bringing a dog voids the reservation and forfeits all money paid. Dogs must be picked up after and be leashed when off property. The entire property is fenced/enclosed.

Lucky guests will even see a bald eagle in one of the nests located next to the house and there is a small landing strip behind the home where you can occasionally spy vintage planes taking off. There, you can board your chartered boat for a day of fishing or grey whale-watching (in season) and get a post-boat dinner or drinks at one of the restaurants there. Finally, don't forget your surfboard as you'll want to hit Half Moon Bay - one of the very few spots in the Northwest where you can surf.

At Westport Marina Guest House, you'll quickly fall in love with its wonderfully remodeled interior and view of the surrounding area. Enjoy fabulous, safe walking to Marina Float 3 from this waterfront rental to experience the frequent festivals or bike to nearby beaches. West of the unit, you'll find the south jetty and observation tower. A meandering paved shore walk at the base of the tower goes about 1.4 miles down to the Grays Harbor Lighthouse along Half Moon Bay, as well as the outer seawall walk. The museum and aquarium are also within walking distance, and Westhaven State Park is less than a mile away. Antiquing, bird watching, boogie boarding, clamming, and crabbing are popular activities in the area.

Head back home after a day of exploring to enjoy the fireplace and flatscreen TV with cable and Netflix streaming, or use the WiFi to stay connected. The rental is dog friendly, so everyone can come along! This unit also features a full kitchen should you decide to prepare meals, along with a chest freezer in the garage for extra storage. - "The house was fully equipped. We honestly didn't need to take anything to the house with us. The living room was spacious. Bedrooms were cleaned and comfy. This place even had a pool table and we as a family did used it. The house is located in a perfect area. Easy walk to the ice cream shop, latte stand, gift stores and much more.
