The only trouble I had was my shower was a little temper-mental (going hot and then cold) but I presumed it was to do with someone else having a shower at the same time maybe, it didn’t effect my stay and I’m sure it was just something very minor, but wanted to mention so it was sorted for future. The house is just a couple of minutes’ walk from the beach, and only five minutes on foot from Sheringham town centre: a time-warp of traditional sweet stores, penny arcades and fish’n’chip shops. There’s even a working steam railway linking the town to nearby Holt, for added Victorian seaside nostalgia!

Inside, we’ve done our best to think of everything you might need. Upstairs you’ll find two bathrooms, a very spacious master bedroom, and four further bedrooms – allowing for a variety of sleeping configurations to suit your group.

Number Fourteen is a spacious Victorian terrace house, a few steps away from the railway station to Norwich and other public transport links. We are a couple of roads back from the town centre making it so convenient for everything including shopping and eating out but quiet even in the busiest weeks. We are only 6 minutes walking distance to the beach and beautiful cliff walks to the East and West. Our recently modernised holiday cottage is light and airy and well equipped luxury accommodation for 3 people. The lounge has 2 sofas and a TV with FREE to view satellite box and a HDMI cable is provided for access to your own device. Internet is super fast broadband and included. The dining room with table and chairs for 4 leads to the kitchen and utility room. The kitchen is modern and has inbuilt fridge-freezer, dishwasher, electric oven and gas hob. Microwave, kettle and toaster of course! The downstairs utility and shower room has a washer-dryer, toilet, basin and shower.
Outside is a private and locked west facing courtyard garden accessed by double opening French doors from the dining room making a super safe place for your pet or child . We have outdoor taps with hot and cold water for washing sandy legs and paws!
Upstairs a large master bedroom and small single bedroom are available to sleep 3 comfortably. The large bathroom has a bath and shower with rain shower head.
Sheringham is a delightful Victorian seaside town oozing character and charm. The carnival team organise a range of fabulous fun events throughout the year which are sure to bring a smile. The Forties weekend and Morris dancing Potty weekend are a couple to look out for.
The surrounding countryside is simply stunning and the area is known as North Norfolk’s Deep History Coast following the amazing archeological finds in the region. The beach at low tide is always a wonderful walk whatever the weather (correct clothing may be needed in the colder months !).
On a well established migration route for many birds the area is a must for those interested In nature. This summer we have been lucky to spot some bee eaters.

The property was immaculate, the welcome tray full of goodies & a hand written postcard from the owner was a lovely welcome. When I wasn't out doing a coastal walk, I was glued to the little breakfast bar type table by the window, watching the sea. The location is amazing, just round the corner is a lovely tea room which we frequently visited, we watched a play at Sheringham Little Theatre & had a ride on the steam train. There is nothing I can fault about Gull View, it's perfect for couples & small families. I really didn't want to leave & will hopefully be returning next year."

- "This is an apartment in a recently converted hotel close to and overlooking the sea but only a five minute walk to the High St and some excellent restaurants. The apartment is unusual in the high quality of equipment provided. Maybe the sitting area would be a little cramped with four adults but I can think of no other criticism. This fabulous house is nearly 2000 SQFT comprising of a large kitchen diner, spacious lounge, and conservatory. There are 4 double bedrooms, hall with sea views. A large garden complete with BBQ makes it perfect for entertaining. Private off road parking for 6 cars max.

A 6 minute walk into the town of Sheringham with it's array of shops & restaurants leading to the beach.

The space

A lovely spacious house spread over 3 floors, with enough room to comfortably entertain up to 8 guests. Perfect for birthdays and family celebrations.

There is a brand new, well equipped integrated kitchen with a fridge/freezer, double electric oven, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher. All bedrooms have charging stations for mobile phones and there is Alexa smart technology throughout the house. The triple aspect lounge is spacious and comfortable, with a 4 seater and 3 seater sofa, and a 50 inch smart TV. This leads to a cosy conservatory which seats 2 people and overlooks the enclosed rear garden.

Bedroom 1 on the 1st floor, is dual aspect with views of the sea. It has an en-suite bathroom with an electric shower and a double sized shower tray.

Bedroom 2 also the first floor is triple aspect and has a king size bed and wardrobe, but is big enough to also provide a dedicated workspace. Guests will have access to an office workstation consisting of an office desk, monitor, and printer. There is an ethernet cable for a stronger WIFI signal.

Bedroom 3 on the top floor (right) is a large dual aspect room with fabulous views across Sheringham and out to sea. It has a king sized bed and ample wardrobe space.

Bedroom 4, top floor (left) can be used as a 2nd TV lounge or a games room. It has a comfortable double sofa bed. Inside the wardrobe is a large smart TV and games cupboard / wardrobe containing a games console and other board games. There are splendid views out to sea, across Sheringham, and the famous 'Beeston Bump'

There are 2 travel cots and 2 high chairs available for guests use. Large cot sized bedding is needed and is not supplied.

The garden has recently been landscaped and has two separate areas to socialise. The decking area has a dining table that can seat up to 12 people, meanwhile at the other end of the garden you can relax under the shielded pergola which has a coffee style table with 6 comfortable chairs. Guests can also use the barbecue and there is a selection of buckets, spades and crab fishing equipment which the children can use.

Other things to note - In order to comply with Host insurance and fire regulations make it a condition of the booking that lead guest provides the names and DOB’s of all guests to the host at least 7 days before the stay commences.
We are dog friendly and allow a maximum of 2 medium sized well behaved dogs. We do charge an additional £40 paid direct to the owner before the stay commences. This is to cover extra cleaning to eliminate pet dander which can cause allergies in some people. North Norfolk is very dog friendly and most shops, pubs and restaurants accept dogs. Please do not leave your dog alone at the house and avoid allowing dogs on the furniture please. The house sleeps 8 but we will accept 2 extra small infants who can sleep in the 2 travel cots we provide. You must bring your own cot bedding which are the larger sheets. Fresh bedding and towel changes are provided for stays of up to 7 nights free of charge. For longer stays changes of bedding incur an extra charge.

There is a guest manual which explains everything about the house including important information about fire safety. It includes useful tips and recommendations about the area including places to visit, restaurants, menus for takeaways etc. This can be found in the TV unit in the downstairs lounge.

The area

Sheringham is a wonderful seaside town with an abundance of shops, bars and restaurant. It is home to the famous North Norfolk steam railway which runs along the coast to Weybourne and Holt and back everyday. Nearby are several high quality golf course with Sheringham golf course only 0.7 miles from the house and Royal Cromer Golf Course just 6 miles away. If you love walking your are spoilt for choice with several walks to beauty spots nearby, these include Beeston Bump, with spectacular view of the town and out to sea. For the adventurous you can walk from the house, over the bump and make it to Cromer for lunch (5 miles) If fit enough you can walk back :-) or get the bus or train from Cromer.

There is also Sheringham park which is free access if entering by foot or a small fee for parking. This can be accessed from the house and takes about 30mins on foot

The accommodation is imaginative and cosy, with original art on the walls, creating a relaxing ambiance. We live only 5 minutes from the house, so are on hand. We clean and manage Bloomsbury House ourselves, assuring you of the highest standards.

On arrival, if you wanted to, you could simply park up and relax and unwind for your entire stay. Sheringham itself is a great seaside town, boasting many pubs, restaurants and cafes, all within walking distance from our house. The shopping centre caters for most of our needs with its independent traders. Again, within walking distance you can discover a steam railway, swimming pool & gym, skatepark, museums, theatre, golf course, pitch & putt, a marvellous coastal path and country park walks. We often walk along the beach to Cromer, stopping at the the cafe at West Runton en-route.

The property has off street parking for two cars at the front, and a delightful enclosed south facing courtyard garden at the rear. Set on two levels, the ground floor has a living room with comfortable furniture and SMART TV. The dining room is atmospheric and has an arch through to the galley kitchen. The kitchen is fitted with all the necessary items to make your stay a great culinary experience, when you are not tempted to eat out. There is also a shower room and utility room.

The first floor has four bedrooms, two with king size beds, one with a king size and a single bed, and a small bedroom with twin beds. There is a family bathroom on this floor. All pillows and duvets are hypoallergenic, sheets, duvet covers and towels are cotton.

If you fancy getting in your car for a day out, there is something for everyone not too far away, from a boat hire on the broads, to one of the plethoras of Country houses, Felbrigg, Blickling and Holkham to mention but a few. You could go 'up city', Norwich is a great day out, soaked in history. It hosts an array globally inspired restaurants, there are museums, theatres and cinemas, we often go there on the train.

There is so much to do in this area it is a special place that attracts all generations. Our house is the perfect place for friends and family to stay whilst exploring.

The space
Situated in a quiet residential road in Sheringham. My home is just a few minutes walk to the town with its many restaurants and cafes, along with the North Norfolk Railway and the beautiful blue flag beach. Sheringham has a train station if you wish to head to the historic city of Norwich without using the car and is also served by the Coasthopper bus for trips along the North Norfolk Coast. Not far away is NWT bird reserve at Cley-next-the Sea and a little further along the coast is Blakeney Point with its famous seal colony. Felbrigg Hall or Blickling Hall, both National Trust properties, of merit, are within easy reach for a lovely day out. Also less than an hour away are the stunning Norfolk Broads. Sheringham is a wonderful friendly and vibrant community, I am proud to call it my home. There is lots to do in the town, and along the wonderful North Norfolk coast. Whatever you fancy, countryside, beach, culture, its on the doorstep. (Although the town can become busy in summer, we are away from the bustle)

A spacious room with a very comfortable bed and with private bathroom in a quiet area of lovely Sheringham. It is only a 15 minute walk into the centre of town where there are shops and restaurants, the theatre, train and bus stations or the beach where you can spend all day relaxing. You can enjoy our tranquil garden too which is a sun trap until the end of the day.

Breakfast is continental style. More than 2 nights, you can make use of the kitchen to make a light meal or use the BBQ.

The space
There are so many reasons to visit this amazing area of natural beauty. There are more birds that you can count, and seals too, you can play golf on 5 different fabulous courses, you can walk the coastline, you can cycle all the lanes, you can ride the steam railway, you can go to the theatre and on it goes.

Or you can simply rest quietly on a bench watching whatever comes your way.

Sheringham plays host to numerous festivals and events throughout the season, so you can enjoy the hubbub of these, but come back and rest here and get away from it all!!

Nick and I love living here. We really enjoy having people to stay and are very happy to be friendly and helpful, however we will leave you with your privacy when you want this. You have easy and open access to your room without disturbing us so this suits us all.

Guest access
You will have free access to your room, with your own key for the patio door, the private use of the bathroom and joint use of the kitchen if you stay more than 2 nights. You can sit out in our garden, with a book and a glass of wine, and use the BBQ if you fancy it.

During your stay
We live in the house full time and so are on hand to help you with anything you need. However we will respect your privacy if that's what you want. If you need a quick bit of help with your golf swing, Nick will be only too happy to do that, if you fancy a bit of singing, then I can help there.

With your own key to the door giving direct access outside from your room, you can come and go without disturbing us. Our garden is very private and a real sun trap so you can sit out with a book and a glass of wine if you would like to do that.

Other things to note
Nick is a golf pro and if you fancy a lesson while you are here, he is happy to do this. My passion is enabling people to sing, so you may like to do this too.

The Studio is 2 mins walk to beach restaurants pubs art & culture. Comfy bed, kitchen & private shower room. Great for couples solos & business visitors. Sandringham, Houghton, Holkham, Felbrigg & Blickling Hall, all within an hours drive. For flexibility and mutual convenience, we need to know in advance your arrival time. The Studio is on the first floor with SHARED ACCESS from the street entrance and up an internal hallway and wide victorian staircase, SHARED with owners and guests ONLY. There is no outdoor amenity area so while we love them, the Studio is not suitable for dogs. Happy to offer check in anytime between 2pm and midnight but for mutual convenience and to allow me to maximise my day please let me know your Estimated Arrival Time when you book. Thanks.

Other things to note
Beautiful beach, clifftop and country walks from the doorstep. Bicycles and motorbikes can be parked safely to the rear of the building. There is plenty of free street car parking on the streets off Church street.

Sheringham is a popular little seaside town with a lovely beach - clean and safe for swimming. My place is a nineteenth century flint and brick cottage in the centre of town but in a quiet residential street. Five minutes' walk to the beach and two minutes to shops, cafes etc.

The space
The bedroom suits one or two guests. There is a comfortable double bed and plenty of storage for clothes etc. There is an original long sash window and fireplace and wooden floors and a desk space.

Guest access
Guests can use the kitchen to help themselves to tea, coffee and toast for breakfast. The bathroom will be shared just with me. There is also a toilet downstairs.

Rinkydinks is a small but beautiful converted garden building where kookiness rules! It can accommodate two people (in a double bed). There are tea/coffee facilities, a fridge, a hairdryer, Internet access and one electrical socket. There is a private hot tub for your sole use. Free parking can usually be found on the street. Rinkydinks is just two streets from the sea and open almost all year round. Come and stay, for summer bubbles or winter snuggles.

The space
Welcome to Rinkydinks, where small is beautiful. Rinkydinks is a converted garden building - a slice of kooky hiding in a very usual street! It was orignally a lockdown project so had to be done with whatever was available; hence the rustic eccentricity! The studio space has a double bed, a small table with two chairs, a mini fridge, tea/coffee facilities, basic cooking equipment, hairdryer, and Internet access. There is one electrical socket.

There is an ensuite bathroom within the studio space containing a shower, toilet, heated towel rail and basin (no shaving point). The studio looks out through French doors onto the circular lawn surrounded by jungly planting. There is a hot tub set in the gazebo.

All of this is set in an 'average' back garden! Rinkydinks is just two streets from the beach, and three streets from the centre of Sheringham. Free parking is usually available in the street - first come first served I'm afraid, but don't worry, neighbours are not protective over specific spaces. So, come and experience fun and simplicity the Rinkydinks way!
