It also has some beautiful walks right on its doorstep, like The Crag (Which has 3 Loops 5k, 3k & a Fairy Loop, in pictures below) & Sli Na Slainte (3k) which both have beautiful views. The Granary is an 18th Century Farmhouse nestled in the peaceful countryside on a working farm surrounded by mature trees in the heart of Tipperary. An ideal location to totally relax and appreciate the wonder of nature.

This spacious building was just recently restored to the highest possible standard, with a distinct focus on insulation while retaining the original features such as the stone arch double doors, slit windows and thick stone walls.

The Granary has an open plan design, complete with a mezzanine with a strong emphasis on light and space.

The bespoke Kitchen and Utility are made from hand crafted solid wood with Quartz stone worktops - all work done by a local master craftsman.

The living room and Dining room both benefit from a double sided state of the art stove which is cleverly constructed to extract heat generated from the wood fire and disperse it around the entire house through venting which creates a beautiful, warm feeling throughout. The Living room has 2 Irish custom made couches upholstered in tweed for a relaxing evening alongside the stove and a 55" Smart TV. The living room leads out to a limestone patio which is ideal for a BBQ and sunny evening sunsets.

The Granary has 2 large ensuite bedrooms which are decorated with 2 very different themes. Each bedroom has bespoke vanity units and large showers. Both beds are super king with hypo allergic duvets and pillows of the highest grade. Linen is organic, fair-trade with a 300 thread count sateen finish.

Guests can enjoy a coffee with a view from the master bedroom balcony overlooking the luscious green pastures of the working family farm and distant mountains.

- "We spent 3 nights at the Granary. Simply amazing. Bee has thought and gone above and beyond providing everything you will need for your stay. We cooked some amazing meals from the local meat market and grocery. Cute little 10 minute town to drive into for meals, grocery, ice cream, or if you prefer to dine there. Enjoyed the slower pace of the countryside and gave us opportunity to explore some attractions not too far. The house is immaculate and attention to detail is beyond. I can’t say enough. It is a bit off the beat and path, but they is what drew us there. You will not regret your stay!"

Inch House is a Georgian Country Mansion dating from 1720 and situated on a working farm with wonderful views of the surrounding Tipperary hills.

The house has been lovingly restored to its former glory by the Egan family who purchased the property in 1985 in a state of near dereliction. The castellated tower is definitely the feature which draws the most attention, but Castle House has so much to offer.
Located in the small village of Killea, near the foot of Devil's Bit Mountain, we are surrounded by lush countryside.
During your stay you can enjoy the beautiful views from our garden and relax in the unique comfort of the house itself.
We also have a huge library of boardgames for our guests to play and enjoy while here.
There are many leisurely pursuits available around Killea and Templemore, such as golf, horse riding, fishing or hiking.
And in the evening there is entertainment and refreshment almost on our very doorstep at the O'Sullivans pub, renowned far and wide for its friendly atmosphere, live traditional music and for serving a perfect pint of Guinness!

We are a little over five kilometres from the town of Templemore on a relatively untraveled rural road.
The junction to the M7 motorway is 15 km from Castle House, and from there you have an easy and direct route either East towards Dublin (about 1 hour and 40 mins) or West to Limerick (about 45 mins) and then on to Galway.
This makes both Dublin Airport and Shannon Airport very convenient.

The self catering accommodation is one half of the extended gate lodge, guests will be staying in the renovated 1847 building.
The renovation was carefully carried out to retain the character of the Lodge with its high ceilings and thick walls, but with all modern comforts added.

The apartment is a self contained area situated in the rural Tipperary countryside in close proximity to Cashel and Thurles.

Guest access
Guests have full private access to the one bedroomed apartment located behind the main house. The cosy open plan apartment is equipped with a kitchenette, living room and a private bathroom.

Guests have access to the garden area to relax.

In our enclosed back garden we have a trampoline, swings, climbing frame and slide which our little guests are free to use.

Other things to note
Located in the apartment are a kettle, toaster, microwave, mini oven/grill, sandwich maker, George Foreman grill, a hair dryer and an iron.

We recently decided not to provide a breakfast to guests as the vast majority of guests prefer to cook their own. However tea and coffee are provided.

A EV charger for electric vehicles is available for use at an additional fee.
Please inform us it you wish to avail of this facility.

In addition we try to keep costs down for our guests as much as possible and do not charge a cleaning fee or deposit.
We kindly ask that guests respect this, and help us to continue to do this. By leaving the apartment in a relatively clean state. Small things like washing dishes and putting their crockery away really helps :)

If you require we can provide an extra single bed for a third adult at €10 extra per night. A travel Cot and Highchair can also be provided with if requested prior to arrival.
