The room was musty but we brought an air freshener and moisture traps to help with the humidity. The staff at the resort are top notch from lobby to bar to entertainment team. The beach and grounds are tended to regularly and we saw a crew of twenty in the mornings to pick up trash from the day before by hand along the beach. - "This is a brand new property and incredibly lovely. We were looking for something quiet and that’s exactly what we got. So perfect! No loud techno music or obnoxious hoots and howls from the pool. Very respectful of everyone’s relaxation time. There are things to do if you choose, however. The pools are immaculate and the property foliage new and ready to grow into a gorgeous jungle. The good in all of the restaurants was really delicious. I normally write off the good, but everything we tried was unique and tasty, hot and served in reasonable portions. Restaurants are great and there is only a breakfast buffet (all a la carte otherwise). Gym is one of the best hotel gyms I have seen, very complete. Pools are heated with plenty of seating, each with an umbrella. Service is good, but you can tell that they are still a bit understaffed as restaurant service was sometimes slow. Property is a bit "bare" looking since it is brand new, but the vegetation will grow in over time. Highly recommend."

- "WE just returned from our stay at Paraiso de la Bonita Sept 16-21, celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary. This place is absolutely amazing! We took advantage of the 4th night free promotion and stayed in one of the suites w/plunge pool. The suite was absolutely beautiful. There was one small hiccup: on our 4th day there we woke up to a horribl stench permeating the room. It turns out the exhaust for the sewage wasn't working. We alerted the front desk, and the concierge recommended we go have breakfast while they send maintenance in to investigate. After breakfast we stayed out on the beach for about 2 hours and then returned to our room. We were pleased to find the smell replaced by a very pleasant, clean odor, the bed made, our clothes neatly folded and stacked...they did a wonderful job in addressing the issue! Other than that one problem, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. The service was outstanding. The food, though quite pricey, was very good. The pool was beautiful; although I was a bit disappointed in the beach. A lot of seaweed and rocks, you really could not go into the water because of it. But believe me, everything else more than makes up for it!"

You will find the kitchen, laundry room and bathroom clean and tidy. When you finish, make sure to leave it clean as you found it. If you are in a hurry before going to sleep, do it.

In the front patio you can sit and take some calls, use your laptop or park your car; The backyard is just for hanging clothes.

Every morning there is cereal, milk, and some type of fruit. In addition, at any time of the day you can prepare coffee or tea and you have jug water to refill your bottle as many times as you want.
