A post bus stop (with a short direct journey to the ski area) is only a 5-minute walk from the house.

Casa la Runtga is in a wonderful location with fantastic views of Lake Laax, the village and the mountains. The lake resort, indoor pool, wellness, children's ski lift, ice skating and many leisure activities are within walking distance. The ski resort can also be reached in a few minutes by shuttle bus or car.
The area offers very special hiking and biking trails. The treetop trail is one of the newest attractions and starts in close proximity.

We hope Via Valla becomes your home away from home so please use all the facilities available and help yourselves to any tea, coffee, food, spices etc. in the kitchen. During your stay you will have full access (and your own key) to the entire chalet.

There are also coin-operated shared laundry facilities (washing machine and dryer), available which are charged at approximately CHF 1.50/hour.

There is one additional outdoor shared communal parking space which may be available depending on whether our neighbours have visitors at the time of your visit but is not guaranteed.

Other things to note
The property is unsuitable for people with reduced mobility due to the spiral staircase. Babies and infants can stay in the chalet just be aware that we have no cot or baby facilities (ie. stair gates, high chairs or child toilets etc...) so you may need to bring these yourself. We have also made no attempt to baby proof furniture.

There are two guaranteed car parking spaces available; one in the garage (which fits a small car) and one outside parking space in front of the right garage door at the front of the property.

If you require more parking our neighbour's have a space, which you may use, provided it is not occupied. Please first use the allocated parking (inside and outside our garage) and note that as this is our neighbour's parking space, you may be asked to move the car. The paid car park at the Laax base station, Laax Murschetg would be an alternative.

Laax only has limited shopping options; a Volg at both the Laax base station and Laax village and a Coop Pronto petrol station, so I would recommend doing some shopping before arrival. The nearest supermarkets can be found in Schluein (Lidl), Flims (Coop, Denner) and Ilanz (Coop, Migros, Aldi).

Safety equipment includes: first aid kit, smoke detectors in every bedroom, fire blanket and emergency contact numbers.

The property has a key lockbox which provides a convenient way to check in, check-out and allow all guests access the chalet at all times throughout your stay.

The shared laundry facilities (washing machine and dryer) are coin-operated and charged at around CHF 1.50/hour.

Fantastic, stylish and very personally furnished 5,5 room chalet in Graubuenden style in best location, view of the alpine panorama. The house is designed for a maximum of 7 people, ideal for a family as well as for 2 couples on holiday together. It is quietly situated in a dead-end street. Nevertheless, it is only 80 metres from the garage to the bus stop, from where a free shuttle bus takes you to the valley station of the mountain railway in a few minutes.
