Your stay on this riverfront cabin boasts direct river access with beautiful views of the bluffs and the Mississippi from almost every room. The large open floor plan main living area is attached to a spacious deck that overlooks the river, including outdoor dining/seating area and a L/P grill. Wi-fi and cable access allow for indoor entertainment, as well as a supply of board games, puzzles, and books.

This three-floor cabin is connected by a spiral staircase to each area. The Loft King bedroom includes bluff views from the Juliet balcony, stained glass art on windows and a large television with cable TV. A queen air mattress is also available for use.

The main floor includes a well-furnished kitchen including a gas stove, full size fridge with ice machine, microwave, assorted kitchen tools, coffee and K cup makers and supplies, assorted pans, baking, grilling and cook ware, seasonings, oils, and basic condiments. The living room includes a comfortable wrap around couch (offering sleeping accommodations with a full Serta Mattress sleeper sofa with foam topper), recliner and additional couch seating with a cable TV. The main floor bathroom includes a tub/shower combination with a large vanity and includes assorted beach and personal towels for use.
The basement level offers an additional two bedrooms, both with river views; a King bedroom and a Queen bedroom with full size bunk bed. These rooms walk out to the lower landing, with additional outdoor seating, a portable fire pit, a fish cleaning station with water hook up and a BBQ smoker with stairs that lead right to the dock on the river. The basement bathroom features a stand-alone shower and full-size washer and dryer, as well as iron & ironing board.

Access to the river via stairs offers two outdoor spots for boat parking and fishing (Iowa license required). Our large grass lot allows for parking of trailers and vehicles across the road during your stay.

For the wine connoisseur, visit the area wineries in Waukon, Marquette, Lansing or Ferryville. This cabin features a large yard for parking and outdoor activities along with a picnic table. We are located on a county highway, just 1 mile away from town, which is where the public boat landing is. Just on the other side of the highway, are train tracks. The trains coming through are always blowing their horn, night and day, so something to be aware of! Some people love it, some hate it. The loft homes a queen sized bed and 2 double beds. Down stairs has a couch and a 2nd pull out couch with a reading space.

Two of the bedrooms have queen size beds, the Master bedroom has a king size bed and one bedroom has full size bunk beds. Also upstairs is a beautifully tiled walk in shower, double sink vanity and a toilet room for additional privacy. Located in the downstairs of the condo is a large kitchen complete with stainless steel appliances and stunning granite countertops. The back side of the countertop is a bar height counter with additional seating. The living room area has plush carpeting, soft leather furniture including couch, reclining loveseat and reclining chair. The fireplace entertainment center has a large flat screen T.V. The downstairs bathroom has a shower, single sink vanity, toilet and full size washer and dryer. Enjoy the mornings peaceful sunrise by sitting out on the beautifully stamped patio. The cabin has comfortable patio furniture and an outdoor grill. In the evenings enjoy a stunning sun setting behind the bluff.

- "My siblings and i rented this place for annual gathering. My brother and his wife as well as one of my sisters arrived early at the property and Christal happened to be there staying in the other side of the house and she let them in early. She is extremely nice and helpful. They do not expect you to fo a lot of things before checking out. We did do the usual garbage and start dishwasher. A couple closet doors came off the track or something and they told us not to worry about it and they would have them fixed. Beautiful house with everything you need, I mean everything. All the rooms in the house are very large and spacious. Nice park down the street and boating ramps and fishing area. They have a lot of turtle crossing signs which was cool. Near a lot state parks and beautiful countryside. Town is very small with minimal for groceries but there is a walmart 20 miles away in another town but that is the only downside. Townspeople were very friendly too. The cost is at our top price, but we will rent here again!"

Guest have full access to the home along with a private dock included. Slip and boat lift are currently unavailable, but boats can park along the side of the dock.

We like to give our guest their space to enjoy their time. We are always available by phone or text if anything is needed.

This property is located along the bank of the Mississippi River. The river poses safety issues and should be respected. Life jackets are required on the dock for children under the age of 13. The risks associated with the use of the dock, swimming or boating are the assumed liability of the guests. The bank of the river consists of loose rocks that will slide and should not be climbed on.

There are active railroad tracks 25’ from the home. Please stay off the tracks. If you hear a train horn, be sure to check that no kids, people, vehicles, or other items are near the tracks.

Parking is limited to 3 vehicles. Please park on the gravel road as close to the building as possible to allow other vehicles to pass.

The neighboring property is currently under construction. Construction noise has not been an issue and is typically not active during the weekends or evenings. The crews will certainly respect the guest of this property.

- "We had a blast. Verizon worked if you're connected to the wifi. But this property sits in the bluffs and is perfect for a get away. Trout stream runs right through the property and the added space for sleeping next to the main cabin was great. The town of Waterville is close and they had good food and cold drinks. We were looking forward to the hot tub but it wasn't quite as warm as we had hoped but it worked properly. The only downfall I would say is the amount of wasps on the property but being that it's in the middle of nowhere can't really hold anyone at fault so bring wasp spray. I would give this 10 out of 10 and look forward to staying here again."

- "Had a great time with family and friends" - "We had a wonderful experience staying in this well-stocked cabin. The rear deck was enormous and the view was beautiful overlooking a small pond at the bottom of a valley. At night we enjoyed sitting around the fire with the endless supply of firewood. Kindling pieces were a little tough to find, so we used lighter fluid to start the fire instead of kindling. The location was perfect. Set outside of town, but just 20 minutes to Prairie du Chien, WI, where there's plenty of stores and restaurants. Also very close to excellent recreational areas such as Effigy Mounds National Monument and Pikes Peak State Park. The cabin has 1 bedroom, 1 full bath, and 1 powder room on the main floor with 4 bedrooms and 1 full bath on the second floor. The rooms were perfectly setup for a large, extended family or multiple families to share. Overall, we had an excellent experience and would highly recommend staying at this luxurious and relaxing cabin."

Located next to train tracks and trains rolled through a couple times in the early morning, didn’t really bother us though as we knew the tracks were there when we booked it.
