Modern and newly-built, design house, located in the village of Alaró, with fabulous views of the mountains and countryside, for up to 4 people.
The exteriors are fantastic. There is a beautiful garden with a lemon tree, from which you can catch fresh lemons in season, a 100 m2 wooden deck around the pool, which at the same time is surrounded by 100 m2 of lawn. The private saltwater pool of 10 x 4 m (with 1.1 m at the shallow end increasing to 1.85 m at the deep end), located in the middle of nature, is superb. In the pool area there are four loungers for sunbathing. The house owners will leave pool towels for our guests. Kids will find some toys for playing in the pool. Just off the living-dining room you will find a private terrace with garden furniture to enjoy great evenings with family and friends. It also has a barbecue.

The house of 140 m2 is distributed over two levels. It has three bedrooms on the first floor, overlooking the countryside or the mountains. Two of them are twin-bedded, and one is double-bedded and has an en-suite bathroom with a shower. In addition to the en-suite bathroom, there is another bathroom with a shower on the first floor, and a toilet on the ground floor. A cot is available if needed.

The living room, very bright, has a sofa and two armchairs perfect for reading a good book, watching satellite TV, or just relaxing. The dining area has a table and chairs for 6 people. The separate kitchen includes a glass-ceramic hob and is equipped with all utensils you need to cook comfortably while on holiday. Our youngest guests will find some toys in the house; they will enjoy a lot! There is a washing machine, an iron and an ironing board. There is A/C in all bedrooms, in the sitting-dining room, in the kitchen and in 1 bathroom.

The centre of Alaró is close to the house. Alaró is a small charming village in the middle of the Serra de Tramuntana, where you can enjoy the genuine Mallorca. Several hiking trails leave from the village towards the Serra de Tramuntana. The Castell de Alaró is a wonderful old fortress that you can see from the house and worth the trip to admire the view of the island. Every Friday a market is held in the main square, where you can buy fruits and vegetables from local farmers. In Alaró you will find all facilities possible: banks, shops, pharmacies, restaurants and bars. Orient is a small beautiful village in the mountains a few kilometres away from Alaró. The beaches are a few kilometres from the village, easy to reach in half an hour.

No parking at the house, but there is the possibility to park in the street or in a public car park just 150 m from the house.

- "We had a fantastic break. We loved the house and the village. Normally we stay in traditional/old style properties but it was a pleasure to stay in a place with a modern, well designed interior. The house is easy walking distance to the village centre and it's not as steep as some places we've stayed. The sun is not on the garden/pool until late morning/lunch time and is gone by 5.30pm (we were there in June). But we didn't mind too much this time as we were exploring the island and the house was a perfect base for this. Our host was very welcoming and helped out when we needed assistance. It was all round wonderful experience, we felt relaxed and energised by the house and the holiday. "We loved our holiday. Thank you so much. It was perfect for us to relax and also act as a base for us to explore the rest of the island. Please see our public comments as this hopefully tells you how much we enjoyed our time. " Just three comments: The smell in the en-suite continued. We moved to one of the twin rooms to sleep as it was unpleasant to be around the smell. For the price that we were paying we wouldn't expect this. Better instructions for the waste/recycling. It would be good it bags were provided as we were unsure what to do with the rubbish at times. A cool box/bag for people to use would be a nice touch. As it is such a great base for exploring the island - we think people would appreciate it :) Other than that - it was just fantastic. This beautiful house has a private saltpool with a size of 4m x 2.5m and a depth of 1.5m. After a refreshing swim you can take a shower outside or relax on one of the four beach chairs, maybe with a good book. The pool has no lights but the patio itself is illuminated at night. The porch of the pool is furnished and invites to barbecue. This beautiful house is located in the village of Alaró and is surrounded by some direct neighbours.

From the patio you have access to the bright living room with air conditioning, where you can watch a movie with the children on the satellite television, read a book next to the wood stove or have extensive conversations. In Alaro there is a grocery store, some good restaurants and cafés.

Regarding to the beaches, you can choose between sandy beaches in the south, like Palma beach, with fine sand, or rocky coves of the mountains, including Port des Canonge and Cala Deia. By car you can go to the part of the south-west and visit the beaches of Palmanova, Portals Nous and Illetes. The salt pool of 8m x 4m and a depth of 1.4m is only available to our guests and it is surrounded by a lounger area, interspersed among the pines. You can swim accompanied by unique views of the valley of Alaró while the only sound you hear is the birdsong. Several terraces invite you to relax and enjoy an outdoor dining. Those who do not want to give up the sport during their holidays, there is a tabletennis table, table football and a volleyball net. The owner is an artist and you'll see different works like statues made of stone in the garden. The plot is fenced and is ideal for those seeking tranquility and nature.

In the spacious living room with air conditioning you can watch a movie on satellite TV, listen to music or read your favorite book. In the typical Mallorcan kitchen you will find everything you need to prepare a banquet, including a gas cooker and a dining table with chairs. - "Property was beautiful and we enjoyed our stay however there were some elements that mean we wouldn't go back (unless altered). The weather was very hot (38). We could not use the bedrooms upstairs due to this. They had no air conditioning and the fans did not provide relief. It may be that if we were used to such temperatures it would have been accepted but we were not. Luckily there were only four of us. If there were more and we had to use the upstairs it would have been quite unpleasant. We like cooking. The kitchen was not the greatest. One hob (the one we used most) was flaky. The oven didn't appear to be at the heat indicated. There was no aircon in the kitchen. Given the 38 degree temp outside it was sometimes a challenge to cook. As so often with rented accommodation, the kitchen knives were poor. Blunt and of low quality. The TV had mostly German TV stations. One or two English one's (news) and the sound quality was poor. We have two small children and ended up watching an iPad every night. The pool was good though the owner seemed to want us to keep the long cleaning tube in place at all times which was inconvenient and (frankly) a hassle for the kids. I repeat. We enjoyed the stay and were not unhappy. Just could have been better. "

The exteriors of the house are really beautiful and will make you not to get bored at any time. After having breakfast under the porch, you can spend the morning cooling off at the private pool, sunbathing on the 8 sun loungers, playing table football and billiard and, the littlest ones, in the wooden house or running around the lawn. Then, you can prepare a tasty barbecue in an absolutely magical place and just start over again, back to the pool! This is chlorine and measures 10 x 6 m large and 1 to 2 m deep. The majestic house is distributed into two floors. Once you come in, there is a spacious living room with A/C, where you can watch TV-SAT, a DVD movie or listen to music. Likewise, on the left side, you have access to the dining area which is open to the kitchen, equipped with gas hob. Right from there, a corridor leads you to the laundry boasting washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board, as well as to a bathtub bathroom and a two single beds dormitory. Upstairs, there are two more bathrooms, one with shower, the other with hydromassage bathtub and shower. As well as this, there are also 4 more bedrooms, two of them featuring double bed and two having two twin beds in each. One of the dormitories has terrace with beautiful views too, and all of them have wardrobe apart from air conditioning. There is availability for 2 cots and 2 high chairs. The finca belongs to Búger, a small village situated at 4.5 km, but even close to Sa Pobla, at about 1 km. In both towns, you can find the basic services such as bars, restaurants, etc. Puerto de Alcúdia beach is the nearest, at 14 km or about 10 -15 minutes driving, as well as the golf course of Pollença, at 16 km. There is a large and lovely terrace with a saltwater pool and living and dining area, a barbeque and a beautiful garden. The hall is open to the dining and living room. There is a big and full equipped kitchen on the left, and a bedroom with a bathroom en suite on the right. There are a lovely bedroom and a bathroom next to this suite, facing the back of the back of the property, where the pool is. Upstairs there are two bedrooms with bathroom en suite, and one with a large dressing room. Downstairs there is a charming living room and a bathroom. This lovingly renovated country house from the 16th century combines history and modernity. Originally it was a mill that was expanded and expanded into 2 separate houses. The salt pool of 8m x 4m and a depth of 1.4m is only available to our guests and it is surrounded by a lounger area, interspersed among the pines. You can swim accompanied by unique views of the valley of Alaró while the only sound you hear is the birdsong. Several terraces invite you to relax and enjoy an outdoor dining. Those who do not want to give up the sport during their holidays, there is a tabletennis table, table football and a volleyball net. The owner is an artist and you'll see different works like statues made of stone in the garden. The plot is fenced and is ideal for those seeking tranquility and nature. In the spacious living room with air conditioning you can watch a movie on satellite TV, listen to music or read your favorite book. In the typical Mallorcan kitchen you will find everything you need to prepare a banquet, including a gas cooker and a dining table with chairs.
