Our property in Deia, “Son Jazmin”, is a unique detached villa with a private heated swimming pool. (pool heating included from April to first Saturday in November) Set in an idyllic elevated location with spectacular sea and mountain views, yet within walking distance of the centre of Deia. Featuring beautifully furnished accommodation, exposed beams, air conditioned bedrooms, oil fired central heating and a cosy log burner for the winter months.
Electronic gates (controlled by remote) lead to the driveway and large garage with parking for a second car.
The comfortable living area is on the first floor with satellite LG Flat Screen TV. Freeview channels, free WI-FI and a Bose Sound Touch 20 Bluetooth Music System you can connect to your phone and play your own choice of music. Off living area the Master bedroom with four poster bed and glass doors to front terrace and on right of this another Double room between the two a shared bathroom with walk in shower wc and sink. Two stairs up on separate level a modern fully equipped kitchen. Large glass back doors with outside sitting/ sun bathing area and path to bbq and outside dinning al fresco. Path to salt pool area and sun bathing. Outside shower & wc and sink area . kitchen is not big but well equipped for gourmet lunches and dinners,, dishwasher, microwave, oven fridge freezer. . the house is next to the tennis court which you can hire via Es Moli hote, also a really quick 25 min walk to the beach to the infamous Cala Deai (night manager.

A beautifully traditional constructed villa with one of the most beautiful sea and mountain views in the world "Quote from Robert Trussel Lexington, Kentucky USA". Deia - Andrew Lloyd-Webber, one of our neighbors, wrote an article in the Times that Deia had, in his opinion, the best cuisine and restaurants in the Mediterranean. There are at least 4 world class restaurants in Deia, most of them within walking distance from the villa. The property is furnished to an exceptionally high standard, with Tempur-pedic matresses on all king sized beds and offering the perfect blend of true Mediterranean living with all modern requirements.
The private salted pool ( can be heated with an extra cost ) with nice steps into the shallow ends is bordered by a large terrace and mature peaceful gardens. The property, main house and guest house, is set in private gated land where you will find many palm, olive and endemic trees.
Of particular note is the large terrace that extends across the front of the whole property offering various seating and sun worshipping spots as well as a great outdoor BBQ area.

The house has the traditional Mallorcan high ceilings, wooden beams and terracotta floors, is furnished to a very high standard and decorated with artwork from local artists. Only 5 minutes walk from Deia centre and 20 min walking to Cala Deia Beach. Outside BBQ, table tennis, and gym.

- "We were so lucky to find this villa and stayed for a week there for our vacation in Deia. I don't know where to begin with. I think Deià is one of the most beautiful and peaceful parts of the entire island. The villa is situated in a sought-after area and has a breathtaking Mediterranean sea view. So picturesque. It was like a dream to wake up every morning in the villa, to open the window, and feel the comfortable sea breathe on me. There were everything we needed in the villa. We had breakfast on the terrace, swimming in the oversized pool, going down to Cara Deià. There were two restaurants in Cara Deià. The parking spaces are limited by the beach, but we always could get a spot before 12 p.m. We stayed in the beach club for a day for a change. Deià is not a big town, but there are a lot of restaurants ( casual to fine dining ), cafes, boutiques, art galleries, bike rentals, a pharmacy, and a few grocery shops within a 10-minute walk from the villa. We enjoyed great local foods and wines in the restaurants. We had an amazing Italian chef in the villa for a night and romantic dinners in fine restaurants in the town and nearby. The owner Rosa was a very kind, friendly, and sweet person. We had a concierge service too. Andrea helped us book restaurants, a beach club, a boat charter, a grocery, a chef in the villa, and even a massage in the villa. He made our vacation stress-free and even more memorable. One week was not enough! We can't wait to return."

The main floor has a spacious 37m2 living / dining room which comfortably seats 8 guests at the dining table and in the sofas. This lovely stone house is spread over two floors.

Ground Floor

The ground floor is of largely open plan design.

To the left is a spacious, fully equipped modern kitchen with breakfast bar and three high stools, dining table for six and French windows leading to a covered terrace with dining table and barbecue.

To the right of the kitchen is a bright and colourful living area with comfortable sofas, coffee table, fireplace and beamed ceilings. All in all, an ideal space for family gatherings or enjoying time with friends.

Off the living area is a separate sitting room/study, elegantly decorated with sofas, a beautiful wooden centre table, TV, fireplace and wooden beams. The perfect place to rest and relax in the evenings.

The ground floor also has a bathroom with shower and a utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer, iron, ironing board, hoover and sink. There is also a highchair for families needing one.

First Floor

This villa can accommodate six guests in three bedrooms which are located on this upper floor.

The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with bath with direct access to the terrace and from there to the pool.

The second bedroom has a double bed, the third twin beds, and both share a large bathroom with shower.

Please note that this property only has air conditioning and heating in the bedrooms.

OUTDOORS

The outdoor area is spread across two heights. The terrace/solarium on the first floor of the villa, which can be accessed from the master bedroom, has sun loungers and a sunshade, and is perfect for sunbathing and relaxing. Four steps lead down from this terrace to a lovely lawn with a striking bougainvillea, a large olive tree, sunbeds and the private swimming pool.

The pool area is closed off by a beautiful stone wall in traditional Majorcan pedra en sec (or dry stone walling) style. The views of the Tramuntana mountain range from here are spectacular.

There is a spacious covered terrace at the back of the villa, with barbecue area and a teak dining table with chairs for six. Perfect for enjoying romantic candlelit evenings.

Next to this is a lovely spot with a round teak table and two chairs: shall we start the day with an outdoor breakfast?

The rest of the property is surrounded by potted plants, flowers, bougainvillea and a wealth of trees.

Information:
All fees shown are inclusive of taxes and other costs. Payment of a 30% of the total rental fees is required for your rental to be confirmed. The remaining 70% together with the security deposit, must be paid 60 days prior to arrival or the initial 30% deposit will not be refunded. When a booking is made with less than 6 weeks in advance to your arrival, the total booking fee will be due.





Arrival and departure. Check-in is between 16:00 and 19:00; check-out by 10:00. Should you require to arrive or leave earlier or later, you must request this at the time of the booking. Joy Villa is an exclusive property located in the heart of Deia, by the village's church. The property offers tranquility and privacy together with a convenient location within walking distance to the shops, bars and restaurants. Its main highlight is a well sized infinity pool with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and its stylish decoration. This wonderful and stylish property it's located in a sloping terrain, common in this side of the island.

The house is distributed in three floors, main (0), -1 and -2. On the main floor we find the main entrance, a spacious living room with comfortable furniture and a fireplace, two dining areas (one in the living room and another inside the kitchen) and a modern and fully equipped kitchen with all you need in order to prepare lovely meals and enjoy some cooking time with your loved ones.

Deia is a small idyllic village on the west coast of Mallorca, perched high up with stunning views down to the crystal clear seas. With a stunning backdrop of the ‘Sierra de Tramuntana’, the beautiful village is typically Mediterranean with green shuttered stone houses and narrow streets of pretty boutiques, art galleries, upmarket restaurants, cafes and Mallorquin tapas bars.

It has been welcoming artists, musicians and writers for years and has a bohemian vibe. Visitors flock to the village not only for the outstanding beauty and character but also to visit the grave and former house, now a museum, of Robert Graves who lived here in the nineteenth century when the artistic scene flourished and continues today.

The Moors, who named the area ‘Ad-Daya’ meaning ‘village’, created the terraced irrigation system that slows steep hillsides to be cultivated and today the olive groves still cover much of the hillside in and around the town.

Cala Deia is a beautiful sheltered pebble cove, a thirty minute steep walk downhill from the village (or a five minutes drive) where you will find a superb rustic seafood restaurant overlooking the sea. Fishermen still set out their boats at night so you can enjoy their haul.

The island of Mallorca is a walker’s paradise as there is a network of paths and ancient mule tracks across the Serra de Tramuntana, so close to Deia. The area is also popular with mountain bikers who can enjoy the dramatic and stunning mountain and sea-view scenery. Tennis courts can be hired in the village and there are various golf clubs on the island, the closest being Son Termens about 18km away.

If you hire a car you can discover the beautiful island of Mallorca, especially the north-west corner which is a world away from some of the more touristy resorts on the island. The pretty town of Soller is a dramatic 10km drive away, here you can enjoy the ambience with a glass of wine on the town square with the Sant Bartomeu church or find one of the many walking paths, such as those to the picturesque villages of Biniaraix and Fornalutx.

The beautiful city of Palma is yours to discover and what better way to travel there than via the 1912 wood panelled train that takes you through the orange and lemon groves for the 28km journey from Soller to Palma.

Son Rullan is a former Templar monastery of the SIXV, located in the tramuntana of Mallorca, in Deia.

It is a building with 8 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms.

The house maintains its original structure, with large white spaces of plaster and lime. The rooms are double and maintain the essence of the space with simple decorations of the time.

Its architecture is very peculiar since the 3 floors in which it is distributed are intermingled and are accessible through 3 different staircases.

It has a semi-wild garden with corners in which to relax, and a swimming pool that complements the natural beauty of the exterior of the house.

Local products are offered during the season, please contact the owner.

It is important to emphasize that the Wifi signal works well in the living room, kitchen and office, but in some of the rooms and exteriors the signal is weak.

In addition, transfer to the airport is offered, to be agreed with the owner.
