Many restaurants / bars / ice cream parlors, supermarkets etc. in a family-friendly atmosphere can be reached in less than 5 minutes on foot.
The stylish Marina Cala d'Or with many restaurants is just 8-10 minutes away on foot, from there it goes seamlessly to the town center with other innumerable restaurants.
A tourist train almost leads from the house via the marina to the village, if you want to avoid the walk.

By car you are in less than 5 minutes in the beautiful fishing village of Porto Petro with a number of unusual restaurants.

Unlike other houses, the kitchenware, china and glasses were very well assorted. It had espresso cups, pasta plates, a lot of glasses, not just four or five. The bedrooms were also very comfortable and the closets did not smell like wood. Sometimes you find houses where the closets are nice but the wood scent is too strong that you don’t want to put your clothes there. The bathrooms were big with big mirrors with big showers. It took a while for the water to get warm but once you get “acquainted” with the shower it all runs smoothly. It was quite handy to have two entrances. We mostly used the back door and walked to some of the restaurants. We definitely recommend the Casa….. and hope you will have such a nice stay as we did."

The villa is on two floors. In the ground floor there is a well furnished kitchen with adjacent dining and lounge area, a bedroom and a bathroom with shower. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, each with exit on to terrace, and a bathroom. The kitchen has a glass door leading to a covered terrace equipped with table and chairs to be able to enjoy a good outdoor food.The swimming pool is exclusively for guests. The house is close all the amenities of Cala D’Or and there is a bus stop at 100 meters so a car is not really necessary.

Coast/Beach:
The nearest beaches are Cala Petita and Cala Gran at about 5 minutes walking. The beach of the natural park of Cala Mondragó is at about 10 minutes driving although there is a bus to go there.

Travel:
Palma airport is at 60 km. Use of car is not essential although is recommended to visit the island.

From the upper terrace you have a beautiful view to the south of the island of Cabrera, as well as to the east of the church of the town of Santanyi, which is also known for its colorful market days.
A large number of sandy beaches and picturesque bays can be reached quickly by car. The finca has a usable area of 350m2.

The whole east coast is hemmed by great beaches like Cala Figuera, Cala Llombars, Cala S'Almonia and Caló des Moro. Cala Egos surprises with a natural, rocky pool. The natural park Mondragó is quite close; nice for hiking or spending a day to the beach.

The village of Santanyí has all necessary amenities for an independent stay. Wednesday and Saturday takes place the local market, where you can buy fresh fruits and vegetables, clothes and crafts. Las Salinas is famous for its salt production, and there you can not only buy high-quality salts but also see mountains of white salt drying under the Mediterranean sun. The Finca Tres Halcones is a dreamlike property in the middle of a plot of more than one hectare between Santanyí and Cala Figuera. From the house you have a fantastic view over the sea to the island of Cabrera, to Cala Figuera, to the nature reserve Mondragó and to the mountains around the monastery of Sant Salvador. The finca is about 900 meters from the sea. It was named after the three hawks that nest on their roof every year.

Handtücher stehen reichlich zur Verfügung und auch sonst fehlte es uns nichts. Marga spricht deutsch und die Verständigung ist damit problemlos. Schon gelesen hatten wir von dem leckeren Gato d'ametla, den uns Marga als Gastgeschenk brachte. Indes haben wir das Rezept auch ausprobiert und es gehört jetzt zu unseren Lieblingskuchen. Die Finca kann man nur buchen, wenn man ein Auto dabei hat, da sie schon sehr ländlich liegt. Der Fußmarsch von 4,9km zum Strand Mondrago ist bei heißen Temperaturen schon eine kleine Herausforderung. Wir wünschen Marga und Salvador noch viele aktive Lebensjahr und immer zufriedene Gäste! Start your day with a cool dip in the amazing chlorine pool while the little ones enjoy the children pool. It sizes 10 x 5 metres and the water depth ranges from 1.2 to 2.2 metres, except for the children area that has a 0.5 metres depth. You will find a beautiful terrace around the pool with palm trees, pots and 8 sun loungers where you can enjoy the sun together with an exterior shower in case you want to wash off under the spray outdoors. The exterior presents very romantic corners to enjoy a peaceful walk surrounded by trees and greenery. The porch with barbecue, with views to the pool, and the exterior kitchen is the favourite place of the family chef. At the same time, this finca is the home of different animals like hens, goats, dogs and pigs that are located in a separated facility of the property. The plot is fenced and there are no neighbours around.

The house, decorated in a beautiful Mallorcan style comprises just one floor. The building has in fact two floors although the top floor is closed and not available. When you enter you find the living room, with its comfortable sofas that invite to relax while watching the satellite TV.
