Visitors who plan to enter Yosemite National Park between 6 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Memorial Day weekend, any day between June 15 and August 15, or Labor Day weekend are likely to need a reservation. Visit the Yosemite National Park trip planning website or the NPS App for details, exceptions, and how to make a reservation. This system ensures all visitors, whether they plan in advance or decide last minute, can experience the park each day. It also spreads visitation across the day so that visitors have a better experience.
A reservation will be required to drive into or through Yosemite National Park on some days from May 24 through September 1, 2025, for those driving into the park between 6 am and 2 pm as follows:

Our Yosemite Dreams Garden Suite is the perfect set-up for a family vacation or a spacious romantic getaway. Located on a 2.5-acre fenced property, the 900-square-foot garden-level suite has two bedrooms, a bathroom with large soaking tub, a living room, a kitchenette, a library/game room and an expansive patio. The master bedroom has a California King bed, large closet and beautiful views of the gardens. The second bedroom has a pine trundle bed that can turn into two separate twin beds. The living room has a large couch and a comfy love seat. Please note: some roads from the East, such as Tioga Pass and Glacier Point are seasonal and are closed October through June.

- "Had a great weekend retreat here! Note that it is directly attached to 2 other rentals on the same property, which wasn't clear from the pictures initially. We couldn't hear our vacation neighbors when inside relaxing, so it ended up fine. However, if there is a large group renting out the 2 places next door it can get pretty rowdy at night. Place was very clean and we enjoyed the private hot tub very much!" - "I absolutely loved staying here and would definitely come back. When we drove up there were about two dozen deer just grazing on the property, it was picturesque. The view from the balcony was unreal and we woke up to snow one morning. Previous review I read mentions something wrong with the oven but we used it just fine. The hot tub was working beautifully the first night, but seemed to decrease in temperature slightly the following nights no matter what we did. A minor complaint, as it was still warm and we used it every night. The place was immaculate and I had no problems checking in or out."

South Gate of the Yosemite National Park is 17 ml away and Bass Lake beaches are 12 ml! Manzanita Lake is a beautiful small lake with warm and shallow water that is great for families with kids, just 25 min drive from our property! For sure, you will enjoy spending entire day there! There are some barbecue sites. Chuckchansi Casino is 14 ml away with a lot of staff to do there!

- "Me and husband two twins age 5 enjoyed our stay at the raccoon Haven! It was very clean and Comfortable! We left it exactly how we got it ! just waiting on our deposit wondering when we’re going to get it back? Ty Sincerely Corral and Petit family" - "Great location! 15 mins from bass lake recreation area. There’s a grocery store, Big 5 and places to eat nearby. Very clean house with basic necessities to cook a meal." - "When arrived took off shoes to find the floor not clean enough to go barefoot, we had to wear our shoes the whole time. Found Blood on the Comforter and mattress pad. The mattress pad looked like they tried to wash but was still there. Unacceptable especially during Covid-19. We asked them to remove the comforter that day and it took 2 days to remove. Measuring cups were dirty the BBQ was dirty had to clean before we could use. There was a dirty sheet under the table near the sleeper couch from previous renter that housekeeping missed. The table was so wobbly one move and we spilt our drinks. We tried to play games and no one could touch the table else the dice kept rolling. So uncomfortable situation repeating to the kids over and over do not touch the table. The spa smelt so strong of chlorine we did not even use it. We ran out of paper towels and there was no back up. We ran out of TP we started with 1/2 roll and only had 1 back up. checkout is 11:00 and we got a call at 10:15 are you out so we can send in housekeeping. It could have been said nicer like "Thank for staying with us, just a friendly reminder checkout is 11 please text when you are out so housekeeping can get started. Thank you, come again". We felt uncomfortable and unwelcome. We replied we will be out by checkout time at 11:00. We left and texted owner at 10:59 proof that we were out of the rental. They charged us a late fee saying that we were not out on time. We were outside loading our luggage. Are we being punished for being in the parking lot. Both my niece and I have contacted the owner several times with no response. Its been 11 days and I still do not have any of my deposit money. They don't seem eager to make this situation better. There was a note on the fridge mentioning that they are 5 star and please keep clean. I feel they are unprofessional and certainly not a 5 star experience. I 'm from Las Vegas I work in a 5 star Casino and know what is to be expected to be called 5 star. It is adorable and a good location. I wish it could have been different. At least make a professional effort to your renters even when stay is over. If they would address our concerns and issues and rectify our deposit this could be a whole new story. Like they were so nice and took care of all our concerns, but nothing! It's not enough to just have a cute place and good location especially when you want to be called a 5-star rental."

- "Total Renovation … Emma thought of everything … a totally pleasant surprise 😎 Dan & Virginia" - "First impression pulling up was that it was in a commercial area, and construction was going on directly below our suite (was obnoxiously loud early in the morning, and woke us up around 6-7am). The inside of the suite was super cute and clean, but upon trying to take a shower, we got super frustrated. No water in the bathroom would get remotely warm, and stayed ice cold for over 10 minutes of trying to shower. We stood there trying to allow it time to warm up, but both gave up and took ice cold showers after the 10 minutes of waiting. Most miserable night of our whole vacation. Upon texting the host, not one apology was given or any helpful comment. Just a "we'll send someone out to look at it" after we had already checked out. Be careful before booking with this company."

This charming cottage is one of 3 cottages on the property (Blue Door, Orange Door and Red Door). You will go to the cottage with the Red Door and use the personalized door code provided after booking to access the home.
The proximity to Yosemite and Bass Lake from Sky Ranch make the Red Door Cottage the perfect location for visiting both.
The living room features open beam ceilings and a stone fireplace. Off the dining room is a private deck overlooking the backyard and wooded views. A well appointed kitchen includes a blender, a programmable coffee maker, dishwasher and utensils.
Special attention is given to guest comfort. Each bedroom has a king size memory foam bed with luxury bedding, down pillows and alternative filled pillows. The bedrooms and bathroom have individually controlled heaters. The bathroom has a shower/bathtub combination, hand soaps, toilet paper and fresh towels. From the back deck you can look over the fenced yard. In the back of the property is a barn and meadow where you can walk around and stretch your legs. This home is not elderly friendly, as you have to climb stairs to get into the lofts to sleep. It is mostly geared towards those guests seeking to explore all the area has to offer with a fun and memorable place to recharge.

Pool is typically available in the summer and early fall months. It is not heated. The hot tub is available year round! There is NO lifeguard on duty for the pool. Please use at your own risk.

Home has a shared driveway but has it's own parking space (nearest homes are over 100 ft away and mostly out of sight). There is parking for 2 cars. Many of the local roads are privately owned and privately maintained. We appreciate you not exceeding the maximum parking limit.

All bedsheets, pillowcases, bath towels, spa towels, and hand towels are all brought in fresh every single stay from a professional linen company. It's a major extra step for us, but very worth it to assure our guests are getting the most sanitized environment possible!

When relaxing at nighttime, you'll look up and see why we named it "Among The Stars".

This private apartment is below the Host’s main house (one an Artist, the other a Photographer)…… all on a hillside with views of the trees above Oakhurst. There are 2 private bedrooms, one with a king bed and the other with a queen bed and each has a cozy electric heater wall 'fireplaces' for individual climate control. During the summer/fall seasons the main house air-conditioner is controlled by the owner’s thermostat upstairs so this level tends to stay very cool all summer long but it can be adjusted on request via text or phone calls. The fireplace heaters can be used to temper cold air in any season.

There is a Tesla Type 2 Car Charger available with no additional fees that should fully charge your Tesla vehicle overnight. Please let us know if you plan to use it so we have the cord outside where you can reach it.

We have a short walking trail on our property that you may use to explore the upper section of our 2.5 acres (use at your own risk there are wild animals and itchy plants), and stay with young children at all times.

The living/dining area has a full size sofa, 40" Smart TV, very small dining table and kitchenette (sink, small refrigerator, single IH burner, toaster oven, coffee maker and microwave). There is a BBQ on the patio with propane provided (do not use briquettes or wood). Enjoy outdoor dining on the picnic table.

The full bathroom has a tub/shower combination between the two bedrooms. There is a separate external entrance and parking near the shaded patio. The inner stairwell to the rest of the house upstairs is in your kitchen area and will be locked.

Our mountain casual apartment is the perfect place to retreat, relax and enjoy nature, work on writing or painting and use as a home base to explore the surrounding area. It's common to see deer walking around the 2 1/2 acres filled with a variety of trees. Our place is an 8 minute drive to the shops and restaurants of Oakhurst and about 15 minute drive from Bass Lake. Yosemite's South Gate entrance is about a 30 minute drive and approximately 1 1/2 hours to the valley floor of this renowned National Park.

We are a husband and wife team; Lenny is a Realtor & photographer with a commercial drone pilot license and Teresa is an Artist and opinionated interior design helper.

The full first floor of the 3 story house (excluding the garage) will be your private space with a large shaded outdoor patio off the front door. The property is on a hillside that has steep sections and wild animals, so we request that you keep a close watch of your children. You are welcome to walk the short path at your own risk (but do not allow children to play there unattended).
Other things to note

We have solar and back up batteries so if you stay with us we will have power when other locations are shut down due to safety blackouts during high winds and high fire risk.

Children:
We made every attempt to make the house safe for children but it is your responsibility to watch them. Some sections of the property are steep and there are wild animals that should not be approached. It is also important that you do not try to feed them. There might be poisonous plants in the brush as well.

Toys are provided in large bedroom closet but parents please check for age appropriateness for their safety. There are wipes under sinks if you want extra caution, we cannot clean every toy between guests.

It is very important that you never leave minors unattended in the house!

Water quality: We have a high end, whole house water purification system which we regularly have serviced. You can be confident that our water is safe for drinking, bathing and cooking. Also, we have a tankless water heater so your entire group will have ample hot water for baths and showers.

Surveillance cameras: to ensure safety for our family and our guests, we have installed surveillance cameras on the property. They detect motion and record video if they "see" anything. Of course there is no surveillance in any of the interior spaces and no audio is recorded. If you have any privacy concerns, we'll be happy to turn off the camera next to the Airbnb during your stay.

During Winter (and early Spring) months, check weather and road conditions before booking and again 2-3 days before departure. Yosemite requires you to carry tire chains in case of snow during winter/spring visits, even if you have all wheel drive vehicles. Our driveway is steep and may be difficult to manage in snowy or icy conditions. All wheel drive cars are recommended. But in severe weather you may need to cancel and find another accommodation.

The studio is completely tiled in Mexican Saltillo tile. There is a small sitting area in the main room with two couches - intimate and comfortable. One corner of the studio is dedicated to a small library - we like books! The private high fenced patio is the entrance to the studio.

Although the shop is not used, it is also not maintained regularly. You will need to enter through the shop to access the door to the apartment. This should not reflect your experience with the apartment.

Other things to note
The apartment is all electric (no gas). Everything is powered by electricity, including the well water pump. If power goes out, so does the water.

The A/C Heater is a wall unit located in the kitchen.

The 2 extra beds are the Futons. Linens are located underneath, simply lift the bottom to access.

Please park by the garage and do not block the driveway.

The space
Every season is beautiful here, each one unique. If you want to be near easy access to Yosemite National Park, recreation at Bass Lake, and in a gorgeous mountain setting, this is your choice.
Our place is quiet, peaceful, romantic and surrounded by trees and wildlife. Deer and turkeys have us on their daily walking route. You will be greeted by 2 dogs and our friendly cat as you drive into your pine tree studded mountain retreat.
Only 15 minutes from all the conveniences of Oakhurst but feels like it's far from the hustle and bustle. It’s approximately 30 minutes from the gate of the amazing Yosemite National Park and 15 minutes or so from beautiful Bass Lake, So much to do here with easy day adventures.
Your retreat is a detached, over garage large loft space. You will find stairs to the separate entrance with a private deck area and a safe comfortable sitting space. Large bathroom includes plenty of shelves to put your things as well as a shower with a tub. The loft has a full kitchen and a full size refrigerator/freezer for your snacks and drinks. There's a dining table with the chairs. It is very spacious and restful and private.

During the wintertime we have a cozy wood-burning stove as well as a heater for that true mountain home and experience.
In snowy conditions you may need car chains or 4Wd . Please check your weather.

This spacious loft, surrounded by pine trees and an abundance of wildlife, is just what you are looking for! Remember to step outside to view the awesome stars we often get on our fabulous cooler evenings. It is a wonderful place to come if you want to just get away or to adventure daily.

~NELDER GROVE has beautiful Sequoia trees about a 40 min drive.
~BASS LAKE is within a 15 minute drive. This beautiful mountain lake has water recreation opportunities and lovely sunsets. Fun for photographers.
~LEWIS CREEK TRAIL is a beautiful hiking trail along a creek with some waterfalls and easily accessed from the road to Yosemite.
~MILLERS AND THE FORKS have lakeside boat rentals (kayaks and paddleboards also) and great burgers!
~DEUCEY’S AND MARINA BAR AND GRILL offer great takeout or lakeside dining.
~ SOUTH GATE BREWERY is one of the top 10 craft breweries in California and is another great place to eat and taste the local brews, located in the town of Oakhurst 15 minutes away.
~IDLE HOUR winery is open for tasting local wines. They also have a wine and craft beer bar open in the evening with live entertainment sometimes, check out their websites for details.
~GOLDEN CHAIN THEATRE it’s a place to view local acting talent with live performances.

Our "Pink Bedroom" has a queen size bed. A "Blue Bedroom" has one full size and twin size beds. Large living area has a queen/full size sleeper sofa. All beds are very comfortable-to-sleep on! There is a bathroom with a bathtub and sliding doors. Linens, towels and toiletries are provided for no additional charge. Laundry Room located in the main owner unit and available upon request. The owner is offering a complimentary assistance with a laundry if guests want to save their time to enjoy what they planned for their trip.

The space
Ouzel Creekside Cabin is the upstairs portion of a historic Sugar Pine cabin once owned by the foreman of the Sugar Pine Lumber Company. If you are looking for a unique cabin in an amazing setting, this is for you!

Sugar Pine is only a few miles to Yosemite's South Entrance. At 4,300 feet elevation, you can experience a true mountain setting with cool summers, snowy winters and shady pines and Dogwoods.

Originally built in 1926, the cabin has been rustically remodeled and decorated to maintain historic character.

Enjoy the sounds of Lewis Creek from the shade of the old Oak tree. Patio features seating area with gas fire pit, table and chairs and a 4-burner gas grill.

The living room is large, welcoming and perfect for putting your feet up after a long day of hiking. Features a 50-inch flatscreen SmartTV (no cable).

Spacious kitchen includes all large and small appliances needed for cooking (refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, blender, juicer, crockpot, waffle maker, coffee maker (coffee & sugar packets), pots, pans, cutlery, selection of seasonings, etc.)

Large main bedroom has a king size bed, dresser, closet space with hangers.

Second “bedroom” is more of a side-room with a twin bed. The space would be perfect for a child’s room, but would also work for another adult.

Bathroom is “Jack-and-Jill” style with doors to both bedrooms. Features a small, stand-up shower (no bathtub). We provide towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap, hand soap and lotion.

Listing includes the upstairs portion of the cabin only. This is a two-unit “duplex”. Parking, entrance, patio, etc. are all private. No portion of home or patio as shown in the pictures is shared. Guest's downstairs have street parking and their own separate entrance and deck. The only requirement is that you observe a quiet time from 10:00pm to 8:00am, and do not use the outside stairs on the side of the house to ensure their privacy. Downstairs guests have the same requirement to ensure your comfort and privacy.

We also ask that you be aware and respectful of those sharing the home. We also observe "quiet time" between 10:00pm and 8:00am, and refrain from loud music, loud television, etc.

This top unit in the duplex property cabin features a large private deck overlooking a lush forested yard. This convenient location is near Yosemite, 4 miles from hiking, fishing and water sports at Bass Lake, within 4 miles of supermarkets, pharmacies, a movie theater, shopping, and antique shops, and 12 miles from entertainment at a large Indian casino. Children can enjoy the large play area here or can walk down the hill to the private community park and swim hole (with parent supervision).
This newly renovated and newly furnished 3 bedrooms, 2 bath property is equipped with: a master bedroom with a Cal. King bed, LED smart TV with satellite and Netflix and an adjoining bathroom. The second bedroom has a Queen size bed. The third room has a full over full-size bunk bed and LED TV with satellite and Netflix. There is a second full bathroom in the hallway and an HE washer and dryer with detergent provided. Bed linens and towels are also provided. In the living room, there are two couches (one with a queen size sofa bed that is not recommended for adults) and two recliners. The wood burning fireplace adds to the mountain atmosphere and may be used during designated burn season. Free WiFi is provided and you can watch a movie with the family on the large LED TV or have a family game night (games and cards provided). The dining table has to seat for 8. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to cook a perfect family meal, including a large refrigerator with icemaker, microwave, full-size range, dishwasher with detergent, coffee maker, waffle maker, crock pot, coffee, tea, sugar, and some spices. A gas BBQ grill and picnic tables are located on your private patio. This cabin sleeps 8 comfortably (4 adults and 4 children recommended for your comfort). This home has air conditioning and central heating.

Other things to note
No cancellations due to weather, rain, snow or shine, the Park is open all year long, you would need to be prepared for all weather conditions.

Sorry, there are no early check-ins, late check-outs, dropping off items before check-in no exceptions. The Housekeepers need from 10AM to 4PM to properly prepare the unit.

Please do not exceed the number of guests permitted, thank you!

When you check out please put dishes in dishwasher and run, take out your trash and just tidy up the place. Leave linens on the bed and towels in place. No major cleaning is required.
