This is our permanent home. We live on the same floor so you may see us around during your stay. Your space is locked from the rest of our house and has a keypad lock to ensure the room stays secure when you leave. IT IS NOT DETACHED.

We also have dogs- you WILL hear them from time-to-time but they do not go in the room at all.

Our basement apartment offers two roomy bedrooms with full size windows, a full bathroom, and sleeps 5 (possibility of added guests with permission). We boast a very comfortable living room. The stocked kitchenette includes a large fridge, sink, double hot plate, microwave, coffee maker, and all the necessary dishes/utensils. Fire extinguisher, fire alarms & carbon monoxide detector. Safe neighborhood. Close to Quantico. 40 miles to the DC National Mall. NO clothes washer.

The space
At the front of the basement apartment there are glass double doors that light the living room within. The bedrooms are located across from each other, Primary bed to the left and twin beds to the right. The back of the apartment has the kitchen/ dining and full bathroom.

Guest access
Guests will park in front of our house. Take the path towards the backyard on the right side. Notice the lighting. The keypad door code will be texted to you. We must limit guests to TWO cars.

Other things to note
This is the basement in our home. We live upstairs with our sons. The basement has been a comfortable place where numerous friends and family have stayed over the years. We ask that you are respectful of our area, but also RELAX. We know it's "well loved". In other words don't hesitate to throw your suitcase on top of the dresser or kick your heels up on the coffee table. It's okay! :0) If there is anything you need just text me, I'm upstairs and I'll likely have it.
