Both beaches provide water sport hire, including paddle boards and kayaks. The coast path can be followed in both directions for either a gentle meander or a much more energetic walk.

Our hosts were extremely kind and welcoming." - "The property was ideal for the two of us for a one week stay, although we could happily have stayed longer.Great location to access Falmouth on foot and use the car to get further afield.Very accommodating host." - "Buzzard's Rest is easily one of the best holiday lets we've stayed in. Everything we could think of was provided and Diana and Thijs were so friendly and knowledgeable regarding the area. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The bed was nice and firm, the sofa was cosy and the decking area outside, overlooking the rugby field, was a lovely addition where we enjoyed a morning cuppa and bacon roll. We enjoyed many walks around the Falmouth area and will always fondly remember the challenge that the climb up Jacob's Ladder provided! Overall, it's impossible to give Buzzard's Rest anything less than five stars. Thanks to Diana and Thijs for allowing us to stay in their beautiful accommodation and, hopefully, we'll see you again sometime."

The Coverack Headland used to be a Victorian Hotel. It was converted into a select development of flats and cottages. The property is located in acres of unspoilt coastal scenery with a gentle walk down to its own safe, sandy bathing beach.
Within its private grounds there is also an all-weather tennis court. From the
Headland there are several delightful coastal walks rich with wildlife interest and
some of the most magnificent scenery in the country. The Headland stands in one
of the most southerly points of England, basking in the Gulf Stream. Within easy
walking distance is the fishing village of Coverack with its picturesque harbour,
restaurants, coffee shops ,a pub and a hotel.
This is a very comfortable self catering first floor one bedroom flat with a balcony and the most splendid uninterrupted views over its own secluded beach and uninhabited Cornish coast. The property is let on a seven-night basis from FRIDAY to FRIDAY.
The flat has recently been completely refurbished with a new fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. It comes fully equipped with bed linen, towels, television and a dvd
player. Free WiFi is also included.
There are lots of things in addition to walking to do in the area with the new Tate in St Ives and Barbara Hepworth’s house with many of her sculptures. St Just also
has several small galleries promoting local artists. Falmouth and Penzance have
larger galleries and because the county has a long tradition of painting there are
usually new exhibitions on.
The Minack Theatre built into the cliff side at Porthcurno with its dramatic seascape backdrop is a must for any visitor at all times of the year. Also, a trip to St Mawes via the King Harry ferry is most enjoyable.
Naturally there are several good pubs, tearooms and restaurants on the Lizard peninsula ,serving excellent local produce , in which to while away many a pleasant hour .
Further information can be provided on what to do, where to go and where to eat.
For the golfer there is Mullion golf course with its stunning coastal views nearby .
There is a lot to be said for sitting and staring out of the window.
Please note:There are currently no facilities at The Headland for charging electric vehicles and charging cannot be done from an extension lead to a 13amp socket

Quality in Tourism rated Gold Award. Our elegant 1 bedroom, 2nd floor apartment is situated within a converted Edwardian hotel set in one of the most spectacular location in South West Cornwall. The Headland is one of the most southerly points of England. Beautifully appointed above landscaped gardens and stunning panoramic sea views, the grounds also include a newly re-surfaced tennis court. A beautiful, sheltered beach is 2 minutes walk away and a further 10 minute stroll will be rewarded by the picturesque village of Coverack,a working fishing harbour almost untouched by time. The surrounding area is protected by the National Trust, with excellent local cliff walks along the coastal path. The Lizard peninsular offers a unique variety of landscape. The tranquillity of the creeks and woodlands along the Helford River contrast greatly with the rugged cliffs and seas that stretch from Coverack round the Lizard to Mullion and beyond.
- "Comfortable, clean, fully equip apartment with fabulous views over the beach below and panoramic sea views. Whilst the 2nd floor location is hard on the knees after a day walking, the fact you don't need to close any blinds mean you get the stars and the sun rise whilst lying in bed! Coverack Paris Hotel/pub is just 10 mins away, uphill on the way back to burn off dinner or a couple of beers. Beware the f&c shop is not reliable which in turn puts pressure on the Pub for evening dinner so you will almost certainly need an alternative if you are relying on supper out as options are a little bit limited. The little coffee/cake/sandwich place was always busy and the village shop is ok for emergencies. This property is a great location to visit all the little villages towards Helford and the coast around the Lizard."

A lovely welcome" - "We wanted a dog friendly, quiet location we could use to make visits in south Cornwall. Some were for research into my grandfather's Naval service in the First World War. These were the National Maritime Museum in Falmouth, which led to the Morrab Library in Penzance, and a house in Penzance where my grandfather stayed in the war. We visited Land's End, and St Mawes, including the Castle. The trip there and back was via the car ferry, which was fun."

Dating back to the 1890’s this traditional fisherman’s cottage with its whitewashed stone exterior and newly refurbished interior, creates an utterly charming family retreat within the coastal town of Porthleven in West Cornwall.
Set just a few minutes’ walk from the harbour and seafront, this is a lovely base for storm-watching in the colder months and sun-filled coastal excursions in the warmer. Offering a ground floor living space as well as two delightful upper floor bedrooms, the cottage, thanks to its original features; feels spacious and airy while at the same time quaint and cosy.
There's also a surprise up its sleeve…a fantastic garden to the back which has been cleverly landscaped to create a large, contemporary outdoor space that's ideal for fresh air dining and for spending time in the sunshine. Cooking is a joy in the home’s modern Shaker-style kitchen where ample worktop space and a range of appliances provide all that guests would need to rustle up a few home-style classics, while the breakfast bar invites morning gatherings where chats about the day’s plans can be shared over a coffee.
Set within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and with sweeping views towards Mount’s Bay, Porthleven is wonderfully positioned and offers visitors an unspoiled taste of West Cornwall’s beaches and coastline. Town life centres around its historic harbour and quay which bustles with the activity of fishing boats offloading their daily catches, and there’s an authentic atmosphere of the 'real Cornwall' here, where its historic fishing roots have carried through to modern times. A wealth of award-winning restaurants serve up delicious offerings using the freshest of fish and seafood caught in its very own waters, and for those wishing to curate a home-cooked feast of their own, the famous Quayside Fishmongers is where you'll find some of the best scallops, lobster, Rock Salmon and Wild Bass (to name just a few).
Ideal for families, Porthleven’s three-mile beach is sandy and golden and when the tide is out, the neighbouring beach of Loe Bar is a 2 mile walk away. Nearby the Penrose Estate’s rich farm and woodland make for a lovely day out, while the Lizard Peninsula and Land's End are within easy reach by car.
- "This is a fabulous little cottage, wonderfully decorated and kitted out, in a brilliant location for exploring the very best of Cornwall. The only thing missing was a sea view, but when you’re such a short walk from the harbour and beach you really can’t complain." - "Absolutely stunning property. Extremely well thought out and you can tell the owners have considered everything, whether it be the comfort of the essentials such as beds and sofas to the immaculate kitchen and shower room, to the outside space. We couldn’t haven’t asked for me. Parking could be slightly tricky but we were there at one of the busiest times of year, shouldn’t be a problem the majority of the time. Would thoroughly recommend this cottage to anyone looking to stay in Porthleven - it’s not cheap, but you certainly get what you pay for."

- "Within walking distance to all Porthleven amenities, wonderful clean accommodation. Would stay again and recomend to friends." - "We returned to picturesque Porthleven for the first time in eighteen years, choosing the Gables as our accommodation. Location was good - barely a 5 mins downhill walk to the gorgeous harbour. Gentle slope to climb on our return. We liked the fact our accommodation had recently been refurbished. It was light and airy with a very comfy superking bed. However the linen was poor quality & pillows flat as pancakes. The kitchen area was spotless with new appliances and nice grey units. Sweet shower room with huge arched windows, great towels, but shower and toilet were a tight squeeze. Shady outside seating area."

The upper part of the property is undergoing refurbishment during the winter, however the associated 100 foot covered veranda and adjacent lawns are available, offering the possibility of outside barbecue and dining, and contemplation of glorious river sunsets. A quirky riverside studio is also available by arrangement.
The apartment accommodation includes a double bedroom, a family bath/shower room; a central living room with sofas, wood stove, dining area and open-plan kitchen; as well as a twin/double bedroom with roll top bath/shower room; and a cabin like twin bunkroom.
The eclectic, rambling and comfortable interior is being refurbished bit by bit with an abundance of old pine, blue slate and loose rugs, but Miele dish washer and washing machine help with practical chores. Night store and oil-filled radiators are available to top up heating if it is cold. Double doors open from the living area straight onto a covered balcony with outside dining table and chairs overlooking the river. From the apartment, rambling woodland garden paths lead down to the quay and foreshore through glades of magnolia, huge gunnera and tree ferns. Ancient oaks and holly, stone walls and paths cushioned with moss predominate the 4 acres of woods sloping down to the river. Ratty from Wind in the Willows would feel at home! Boats may be moored on the outhauls off the slipway with an anchorage beyond. Sailing, motor and rowing boats may be hired locally and fishing off the quay may procure; bass, wrasse, bream, mackerel etc. Tremerlin's grand position overlooking the tidal Helford river is also exceptional for bird watching. Hoopoo bird, perigrine falcon, egret, kingfisher and even pelican have been observed. Dolphins and seals and even otter are occasional visitors to the river as are deer, fox and badger to the woods.
The Lookout, a magical one room studio perched on the foreshore just up river below the house, may be rented for an additional £200 a week. Built as a painters studio and retreat it exudes peace and tranquility.

From here, head out to the huge back garden; steep steps lead up to the decked terrace and lawned garden. Glimpse the sea and take in the sea air whilst sipping a gin and tonic or two.
The beautifully appointed bedrooms are on split levels, the first floor home to the master bedroom with a king-size bed and of course, those sea views. A 'sea view' twin bedroom is just across the landing, as well as the family bathroom. The third bedroom, also a twin, is up a further three stairs; this room overlooks the garden and, just like the other bedrooms, boasts luxury bed linen and comfortable beds. Trevarrow Cottage really is a perfect seaside retreat for all the family at any time of the year.

- "We had an excellent stay at Trevarrow Coverack. We loved the natural feel of the village and the surrounding area. The beach was so convenient for the kids once we had learnt to navigate the rocks and set our watches for low tide. Trevarrow was a comfortable and convenient base to explore the Lizzard & had enough space for all to enjoy. We especially enjoyed eating & drinking on the front overlooking the cove. A handy tip is to keep a look out for the fishing boats when they return to harbour to buy lobster crabs & fish - Incredible value and delicious as you can't get any fresher. Other highlights were eating at the New Yard Restaurant which delighted with superb food matched with excellent provenance & sustainable ethics, Dinner at The Bay Hotel where Sam Jones is a highly accomplished Chef and offers good value & of course Elizabeth's Cornish Pasties (about 10 doors down Elizabeth makes & sells pasties from her own home) which are a must! Our only negatives were There was not enough plates & cutlery for 6 people to eat two meals so you ended up having to use the dishwasher after each meal. There was not any recycling bags for card / paper & bottles - This was annoying and the refuse collectors were how can I say it challenging but we got them to take it in the end. It would have been a nice touch to have had implements for cracking crustaceans. We found Sheila (house keeper) most helpful & responsive. Overall and excellent stay."

Secret woodland gardens, glorious views and seclusion. Tremerlin apartment, sleeping 6, comprises the lower ground floor of the house, and enjoys an elevated position with sublime views of the Helford river from all the windows.
Change over day Saturday.

The Trengylly Wartha pub, Potager Garden café and Constantine village's Tolmen Centre music venue are all five minute's drive away, or less. It's a ten-minute drive to Port Navas, fifteen minutes to Glendurgan and Trebah Gardens, and twenty minutes or so to both Falmouth and Helston. We're surrounded by beautiful creek and woodland walks, and within easy access of local beaches and coastal walks between Falmouth, the Helford Passage and the nearby Lizard peninsula.

Our little one bed apartment is perfect to take in the sights of Falmouth. Whether you are visiting the award winning beaches, or stopping for the fantastic food in any of the pubs or restaurants.
It is great for couples in the comfy king size bed with orthopaedic mattress.
You can also have your breakfast on the balcony looking out over the woods.
The Studio is a self-contained accommodation that has been lovingly renovated from an old threshing barn by my partner Sam and I. It's got all mod-cons (think underfloor heating, speedy internet, and a powerful shower) in a building full of history (WWII soldiers were stationed here).
Particularly suitable for walkers, artists, music lovers, and solace seekers.
We’ve dropped the price as the garden is having a makeover and so won’t look its best. We won’t be doing major works during stays.
The space
Bring your vinyl for our record player, your boots for walking the salt path, your tastebuds for the amazing local produce, and your camera to take pictures of all the wonderful things you'll see in this lovely pocket of West Cornwall.
The Studio is (as to be expected) a spacious studio apartment overlooking a petite Cornish garden on the ground floor. Inside you'll find a luxurious double bed, en suite bathroom (we are blessed with incredible water pressure for fantastic showers), kitchenette, dining area, comfy sofa, and a TV with a Firestick (so you can watch Netflix, Disney+, iPlayer, the lot). Located in the middle of a quiet and safe little village close to a pub, village shop and lots of beaches.
Bathroom: Powerful shower, loo and basin. We provide bamboo loo paper from "Who Gives a Crap" (an ethical plastic free loo paper brand). For the time being we will not be providing shampoos, conditioners and body wash as a result of Airbnb guidance. We will however provide anti-bacterial handwash.
Sleeping Area: Cast Iron double bed with luxurious sheets from Linen Bundle and all-season duck feather and down duvet (4.5 tog, 10.5 tog, or 15 tog) . Both side tables come with a double plug socket and reading lamp.
Kitchenette: Suitable for making good simple meals with a combination microwave grill, two ring induction hob (and compatible pots and pans), slow cooker, toaster, kettle, sink, fridge with freezer compartment, and crockery, cutlery and glassware (including champagne flutes) for four people, with a dining table and chairs.
Living Room Area: book case full of books about art, history, boats, and more. Games including monopoly and a puzzle. TV with Firestick so you can log into your own Netflix, BBC iPlayer etc. accounts. Comfy sofa and antique chest coffee table and Record player with a small selection of our own records. The walls are adorned with prints from local artists.
Outside Space:
Table and chairs for two to sit and enjoy the afternoon and evening sun. You are welcome to herbs from our vegetable patch and in times of abundance some vegetables too. A little note, we are in the countryside and as with all rural villages noisy tractors can drive past from time to time, and we have a school in the village so in term time the road can get a little busy for drop-off and pick-up times.
Guest access
Parking is on street. There is one small step up to get into the studio but it is entirely flat within.
Other things to note
We provide fresh home-made sourdough, butter and milk on arrival and have a good stock of store-cupboard essentials. If you are vegan or have any other dietery requirements please let us know in advance and we can amend things accordingly.
Co2 Alarm - Our electricity and heating is provided by an eco-friendly air source heat pump and we have no gas on the property so don’t require a Co2 Alarm.
