Nestled on romantic Poldark's coastline, Island Watch is a small but beautiful, purpose-built apartment set on two levels with stunning views of Mount's Bay and St Clement's Island and a private balcony. The apartment makes a romantic, convenient and comfortable base from which to enjoy South West Cornwall: in December for the magic of a traditional old English Village Christmas, in the Spring for the walking and the flowers, in Summer for the beaches or, for one of our famous Indian Summers right into November. And every day when you rise or come home, you have the spectacular sea views to drink in from your lounge or the private balcony. It's a great spot for a honeymoon or special anniversary.

For Island Watch, made just for two, climb the simple wooden steps to your own entrance leading onto the first floor. Here you'll find the lounge with kitchenette and French doors to the sheltered balcony. Flanked by palm trees you can sip fresh coffee from the Nespresso machine and watch the wildlife in the sea and on the Island. The balcony is sheltered and quite a suntrap. The small wc and shower are also on this level.
Upstairs to the bedroom under the eaves. Here there's a very comfortable kingsized bed with good mattress (we renew regularly) and good quality cotton linen. There's also a small sofa, a selection of books (English, French and German) and storage space for your clothes. From the skylight you can see the Island again and if you leave it open, fall asleep listening to the sound of the water lapping on the shore some 50 metres away.
Parking right in front of the apartment gives you peace of mind in coming and going - so much of Mousehole has no reliable parking to offer. The flat is equipped with: TV, DVD player, Ipod dock and radio, Wifi, microwave/small oven, two plate induction hob, fridge with freezer compartment, Nespresso coffee machine, tea, coffee.
We live next door to the apartment and are happy to welcome you and leave you to yourselves or be on hand for any questions you may have or tips you need during your stay. If we are on holiday ourselves, my mother lives nearby and is on hand for any needs you have.
The house is neighboured by the gardens of the Old Coastguard Hotel, a boutique hotel with 13 rooms and a very fine restaurant. This is a quiet establishment and a lovely place to dine - but do book.

Only a minute's walk from the harbour up a little lane, ‘Seaview Meadow’ is on a hill with wonderful sea views across the bay. Facing south you can watch the sunrise over the horizon & sit on the terrace & gaze out to sea all day. Have morning coffee watching the sun slide across the sky & wander down to the sea for a swim. Decorated to a high standard ‘Seaview Meadow’ is a cosy retreat for those wanting to escape for a while.

Cobbles Loft is nestled within a terrace of pretty stone cottages and is less than a minute’s stroll from the harbour front. Cobbles Loft is situated on the first floor and offers a very stylish, light and airy two bedroom accommodation in a great location. Perfect for couples or a family of up to five. During high season check-in day is Saturday and bookings are for 7 days. Outside of high season the check-in day is flexible as well as the number of nights.

The front door from the courtyard, which is at the back of the property, leads to a small hallway and stairs to the first floor. At the top of the stairs you come into a bright and airy living space comprising of an open plan sitting, dining and kitchen. The windows above the corner sofa look onto the courtyard. The kitchen is fully equipped with an induction hob, quality cookware, fridge, washing machine, oven, kettle, coffee machine and microwave.

There is a large comfortable corner sofa and small dining room table. A stair gate can be fixed at the top of the stairs for younger guests.

Cobbles Loft is decorated throughout in a stylish and uncluttered decor with a seaside theme. Many of the prints on the walls have been bought from Mousehole galleries.

There is a large freeview TV, a DVD player and free wifi throughout the apartment. The apartment has a number of board games, books and a large selection of DVD's for you to enjoy.

The main bedroom has a large double bed with fitted wardrobes. There is plenty of storage. John Lewis mattress and bedding are used. There is a DAB radio. The bedroom is to the front of the property. Looking out of the bedroom window to the right you can see glimpses of the sea.

The second bedroom is slightly smaller with a full-sized double bunkbed (3’ on top and 4’6” on the bottom) against one wall. There is also a wardrobe and a tallboy drawers for storage. This bedroom is also to the front of the property.

A travel cot and high chair are available by request.

The bathroom consists of a bath as well as an over the bath power shower.

All rooms are heated by central heating in the colder months.

The entrance to the property is at the back through the courtyard which is great if you have younger children. Mousehole can get quite busy with passing traffic or visitors and so having an entrance/exit off the road is ideal.

Cobbles Loft has a lovely shared courtyard area with a large picnic table - perfect for eating outside in the sunshine. It can be a lovely suntrap. The area is also great for hanging out your wetsuits to dry and leaving your buckets and spade.

There is no dedicated parking at Cobbles Loft, but guests can drop luggage off just round the corner before parking. The closest car park is about 100 metres away. Like many areas of Mousehole, mobile phone signal can be patchy indoors but is good just a few steps away.

The Old Exchange is a unique cottage with garden and private parking. Just one minute's walk from Mousehole Harbour. The cottage is single-storey, light and bright, with comfortable, stylish furnishings .The sitting room has oak floors, two sofas, smart TV, WiFi and a wood burning stove for winter evenings. A fully equipped kitchen for those who like cooking, with range cooker, dishwasher, Le Creuset cookware and all the utensils you could wish for. There are two bedrooms - one with two single beds, the other with a luxury king size bed (5ft wide) and television. Netflix available. Quality linen and towels are all provided. Laundry room with a washing machine and drying rack.
Secluded outside terrace off the kitchen with table, four chairs and a chiminea for barbecuing. Another terrace with table and chairs at the top of the lawned back garden, while a further table and two chairs sit within the front garden.

Fantastic Find
My family and I had an amazing stay in this superb cottage. Everything was as explained and the layout of the cottage is super cute but also spacious. Our host, Anne, was one of the best Host's - so accommodating, friendly and responsive. She really is fantastic. Yes, the parking is a little tricky with a big car but its totally doable and worth it. I would highly recommend the property and the location is perfect! Right in the centre of this beautiful harbour village. If we ever find ourselves in this part of the country again, we would return 10/10 Thank you so much!

One of the prettiest seaside villages in England, Mousehole is a place you just can't help falling in love with. Quintessentially Cornish, its narrow streets wind past traditional stone cottages that compass an attractive (and much-photographed) little harbour. Flower boxes, sash windows, painted doors, and a peppering of small shops, picture galleries and eateries lend the village a romantic charm and make it ideal as a couples' hideaway.

We ask our guests for a £150 good housekeeping bond, which is pre-authorised against your card. This is in case there is any damage to the property during your stay. The money is simply reserved and then released afterwards if there is no claim. We will contact you nearer the time of your arrival to arrange this.

We didn't use it as much as we might have as a result - but having some outside space is still better than not, especially for an early morning coffee when the streets were still quiet. The only other issue is some damp in the downstairs entrance room, which is a bit smelly/musty each time you walk in (although the upstairs living space is not affected). Overall, a great open-plan cottage, and wonderful to be able to have the dog with us too."

The apartment is in the harbour village of Mousehole. Restaurants and amenities are close by. The village has a post office/general store, boutiques, and galleries. St Ives and the Tate, Minack Theatre, many stunning beaches and the Barbara Hepworth Sculpture Garden are in the area.

Yes. The easiest ways of getting to Mousehole are either train to Penzance or flying to Newquay (or Lands End from Scily Isles). There is also a ferry from Scily Isles to Penzance. If arriving at Penzance by train you can hire a car st the station or take a taxi or bus. Taxi takes 10/15 mins and costa £10-15. Bus takes about 30 mins and runs every 30 mins - it stops about 5 doors away from the apartment when it arrives in Mousehole.

If arriving at Newquay airport you can hire a car through Europcar or Hertz at the airport (and there are other car hire companies in Newquay town centre) or you can take a taxi. Journey is 50 mins-1hr 15 mins in general.

The eaves of the top floor have been opened up and insulted and sky light fitted in the back bedroom to create a nice light open feel and more space. Sea gulls do walk and rest on the roof so it is best to keep the velux window in the second bedroom closed and open the other window in that room if you want air - if you open the Velux you may have a seagull visiting you or depositing a not very nice present on your head!! I have put wax ear plugs in the guest cupboard in the bathroom (the one immediately over the toilet) - please help yourself to some of these if you think the seagulls' cries will bother you (just please let me know if you use them up so I can buy more!). Only a stones throwaway from the delightful charismatic harbour and beaches, 2 The Net Loft forms part of the original listed Net Loft property dating back over 200 years, once the hub of the fishing life of the village, where the fishermen treated their nets. Converted in later years to be used by local artists who set up their studios, to capture the beauty of this inspirational and stunning location.
We bought number 2 The Net Loft in 2012, and have loving restored and updated it to become a spacious, clean, home from home enchanting property.

This charming cottage style apartment, which sleeps two, is approached by external granite steps bedecked with flowers leading up to well presented, comfortable and appealing accommodation.
The door opens into the lobby where shoes and coats can be hung and there are beach chairs and umbrellas for our guests to use.
The inside door opens into the spacious open plan style lounge/dining area with tv and DVD player. The fully equipped kitchen has oven, hob, fridge, washer dryer and microwave. There is all the crockery needed for four settings, cookware and kitchen utensils to ensure it feels home from home. We provide games, dvds and maps for your use during your stay. We provide all the cleaning products you might need plus tea towels, apron and oven gloves.
Off the living area are a separate double bedroom fully equipped with double bed with king size bedding, wardrobe with wooden hangers, dressing table, hair dryer, length mirror etc.
The good size bathroom has bath, shower, heated towel rail and luxurious large bath sheets and hand towels are also provided. Attention to detail is reflected throughout the fully equipped property to ensure your holiday is perfect!
We take bookings Saturday to Saturday July to September, but any length booking of 2 nights or more during the rest of the year.

We are adhering to the strictest cleaning and disinfecting rules and regulations as set out by the government and Airbnb. We have a wall mounted antibacterial pump in the lobby for your use before entering the property and a free standing one in every room.

Summer or winter Mousehole is a perfect place to stay. With the little harbour sheltering a safe sandy beach, brightly coloured fishing boats and sailing boats. Where better to while away a lazy summer afternoon? On stormy days in winter you can feel the power of the Atlantic crashing over the harbour walls as you sit in the pub or local restaurants warm, well fed and with a drink in hand.
‘Seaview Meadow’ is set up the hill in Mousehole with wonderful sea views across the bay. Facing south east you can watch the sun rise up over the horizon and sit on the large terrace and gaze out to sea all day. You also have the private use of the front garden where you can sit and sun bathe, read, look out to sea or even have a little doze! Blankets and garden furniture can be borrowed if required.
Decorated to a high standard ‘Seaview Meadow’ is a cosy retreat for those wanting to escape for a while. With a brass double bed, a sitting room/dining area with sea views out over the garden. There is a new kitchen with oak worktops, ceramic double sink and bright clear lighting. Both the kitchen and shower have warm and cosy under tile heating. This is all laid out in shining white and Cornish sea glass colours.
‘Seaview Meadow’ is a minute’s walk from the beautiful harbour where you will find a shop and post office, a welcoming pub right by the water, three great restaurants, a few cafes and many little galleries. There are busses from Mousehole to Penzance every half an hour. There is wonderful walking and exploring and we are within fifteen miles some of the very best beaches in the world. Whether you are a surfer, a swimmer, someone who just likes to doze, read, and pass the time on the beach or simply a lover of nature – then ‘Seaview Meadow’ would be a perfect base for your holiday.

Your self contained apartment has access to your own private terrace looking out to sea. Hopefully you will have everything you want but we live next door and are always on hand to help if you need anything. There is parking on the road right outside 'Seaview Meadow'.

It is intended to combine the amenities of an elegant hotel suite with the convenience of self catering accommodation to combine the best of both worlds.

The space
Sunny Corner has its own entrance into a downstairs entrance hall and stairs up to the first floor living, kitchen and dining area with a separate double bedroom and en- suite shower room. Outside is a terrace area (approx 9 square metres) with views over the passers by below and of the sea through the roof tops opposite

The kitchen area is equipped with an oven, microwave, two ring electric hob, fridge with ice box, dishwasher and combined washing machine/tumble dryer, cutlery, china and adequate cooking utensils for times when our guests prefer to cater for themselves.

The whole of the apartment, including the entrance lobby and the terrace is for the sole use of our guests.

Other things to note
We include a complimentary bag of logs and kindling with each booking. We ask guests to use only the kiln dried logs which we will supply at cost (£5.00 per bag) on request.
