Our apartment is on the 3rd floor of a grand and elegant 19th Century building very close to Galata Tower. It's characterful, graceful and homely, with stunning views right across the Golden Horn from the shared roof terrace a few floors up.

Our apartment is on the third floor - three flights of original marble stairs - of a grand and elegant 19th century building very near to Galata Tower. The building entrance is on a characterful cobbled street, packed with intriguing boutiques and cafés. A few floors up on the roof-top, a shared terrace has gorgeous views across Golden Horn to the Old City.

It’s about 3 minutes walk to Sishane metro station, less than 5 minutes walk to Tünel funicular and a short downhill walk to connect with the tram for Sultanahmet. Famous Istiklal Avenue is less than 10 minutes walk up the hill.

The apartment opens into a welcoming hall. The living room with flat-screen TV and comfy sofa is right next to the dining room, adding up to a versatile area for relaxing. The bay windows in the living room overhang the characterful street below: great for people-watching. There are two double bedrooms, one of which has a stylish en-suite shower room. This same bedroom connects to the third, small bedroom, ideal for a child or close friend. All bedrooms have high quality crisp white linens. The additional family bathroom is spacious with a large shower. The kitchen is contemporary, chic and well-equipped with high-end appliances including dish-washer.

This apartment is 130 m2 in total, with lovely vaulted high ceilings retaining original frescoes. A few of the walls have been stripped back to brick that gives a cosy atmosphere. The bedrooms comfortably accommodate five people.

Elegant 19th Century buildings line cobbled streets, with discoveries waiting around every corner. No matter where you wander, you’ll always find your way back to Galata Tower, which has been a well-loved landmark for the last 700 years.

Metro, bus, tram and ferry stops are all only a couple of minutes’ walk away. You can be in Sultanahmet (for the big sights of Ayasofya, Topkapı, Blue Mosque etc.) in about 12 minutes by public transport or 20 minutes on foot. In the other direction, by Metro, you can be in Şişli (for Istanbul’s biggest shopping mall) in 10 minutes or Levent (for Istanbul’s business district) in 15 minutes.

Where new materials are needed we source them locally, prioritising products that are designed and/or made in Turkey.

Our apartments are uniquely situated amongst mosques, churches, synagogues, a mevlevi ‘whirling dervish’ hall and other sites of religious significance. We encourage guests to sense the history of religious tolerance and hopefully! to experience something of it themselves during their stay.

Our apartment is on the third floor - three flights of original marble stairs - of a grand 19th-century building with lion motifs, right next to the beautiful Galata Tower. From some windows, you feel you can reach out and touch the tower. The living room overlooks the lively pedestrianised square below, while the kitchen and one bedroom have glimpses across the Golden Horn.

The bedrooms are stylish: two doubles and one twin, each with chic velvet headboards and high quality crisp white linens. One of the doubles is very big with lots of space for an additional folding bed. There's a contemporary and chic, well-equipped kitchen with high-end appliances including dish-washer. The separate dining area is just outside the kitchen. In the comfortable living room there's a feather-cushioned sofa, armchair and bar table with stools overlooking the tower. The shower room has a smart rain shower plus loo and there's a second separate loo along the spacious hallway.

This apartment is big at 120 m2 in total. It's bright and welcoming with large windows and lovely high ceilings. The exposed floorboards are all original and the wooden panelled doors have been retained. The living room has it's original ornate white plaster ceiling and the overall feel is of space and elegance. The bedrooms comfortably accommodate six people.

Our apartment is on the ground floor of a grand and elegant 19th Century building very close to Galata Tower. It's characterful, graceful and homely, with stunning views right across the Golden Horn from the shared roof terrace a few floors up.

Galata has a genuine, very welcoming and diverse community with an intriguing mix of cafes, restaurants, small grocery shops and artistic boutiques. Elegant 19th Century buildings line cobbled streets, with discoveries waiting around every corner. No matter where you wander, you’ll always find your way back to Galata Tower, which has been a well-loved landmark for the last 700 years.

Metro, bus, tram and ferry stops are all only a couple of minutes’ walk away. You can be in Sultanahmet (for the big sights of Ayasofya, Topkapı, Blue Mosque etc.) in about 12 minutes by public transport or 20 minutes on foot. In the other direction, by Metro, you can be in Şişli (for Istanbul’s biggest shopping mall) in 10 minutes or Levent (for Istanbul’s business district) in 15 minutes.

10 minutes waking to beach , see

It is so important for me that my home is peaceful. For this reason, I live in Kosuyolu, a decent neighborhood. It is both centrally located and far from the city noise. For example, it is possible to do a morning jog in the grove which is 5 minutes walk from our house. In addition, going to Kadikoy and Uskudar lasts 15 minutes. Metro (Subway), Marmaray and Metrobus 5 minutes by minibus, you can easily reach these central points.

The space
Most of the guests who discover Istanbul think that the Asian side is more suitable for accommodation. This side has fewer people, less vehicle traffic and less noise. You'il love this continent. What's more, you can reach the historic European side in just 30 minutes.

I want to talk about some house details; is a duplex apartment located on the top (4th) floor of the building. Every room in the house is getting sunshine and it has a nice view over most apartments in Istanbul.

Believe me, you don't have to be in central Kadikoy. You can reach the center already with a very practical, convenient and short-term minibus ride. When I was living in the center of Kadikoy, I was constantly getting sick because of air pollution. Keep this information in your pocket. :)

My house is on the 4th floor. There is no elevator in the building. So you need to use the ladder.

Two young girls stay in the other rooms on the floor where your room is located. They are kind, hospitable girls.
The girls will share the bathroom, toilet and kitchen on the ground floor.

Welcome to our lovely apartment! Our cozy and comfortable apartment is located in a prime location, providing easy access to all the main historical sites of Istanbul.

The apartment features a bedroom with a comfortable double bed, a bedroom with two single beds, a living room and a fully equipped kitchen. We provide everything you need to feel at home, including all shower equipment, towels, shampoo, and toothpaste.

We also have a 65inch TV with Netflix and Youtube accounts, an air purifier, central heating, and air conditioning, ensuring a comfortable stay throughout the year.

One of the biggest advantages of staying with us is the ease of transportation. With taxis available right outside, you can reach all the main historical sites, such as Hagia Sophia, Sultanahmet, Topkapi Palace, Grand Bazaar, Basilica Cistern, Galata Tower, and Taksim Square in just 5-15 minutes for just 3-5 €.
