It’s about 3 minutes walk to Sishane metro station, less than 5 minutes walk to Tünel funicular and a short downhill walk to connect with the tram for Sultanahmet. Famous Istiklal Avenue is less than 10 minutes walk up the hill.

The apartment opens into a welcoming hall. The living room with flat-screen TV and comfy sofa is right next to the dining room, adding up to a versatile area for relaxing. The bay windows in the living room overhang the characterful street below: great for people-watching. There are two double bedrooms, one of which has a stylish en-suite shower room. From some windows, you feel you can reach out and touch the tower. The living room overlooks the lively pedestrianised square below, while the kitchen and one bedroom have glimpses across the Golden Horn.

The bedrooms are stylish: two doubles and one twin, each with chic velvet headboards and high quality crisp white linens. One of the doubles is very big with lots of space for an additional folding bed. There's a contemporary and chic, well-equipped kitchen with high-end appliances including dish-washer. The separate dining area is just outside the kitchen. In the comfortable living room there's a feather-cushioned sofa, armchair and bar table with stools overlooking the tower. Villa Kibele overlooks the sea on the exclusive Cukurbag Peninsula, close to the historic town of Kas. Villa is located at the best area both view and location. Designed and built by its' architect owners - no attention to detail has been spared both internally and externally. The villa is completely surrounded by beautiful gardens (bouganvillea, jasmin, lemon, banana, olive and orange trees to name but a few) which are enclosed within stone walls giving both security and privacy. The villa offers a large private pool/terrace along with numerous sun bathing areas within the gardens. The owners have created the villa which offers a unique insight into Turkish culture and many of the furnishings and art are representative of this. All in all Villa Kibele is the perfect place for a special family occasion/holiday or for groups of friends wishing to experience a luxurious and relaxing holiday. The villa can accommodate a maximum of 24 people but smaller groups/families are welcome.

The Cukurbag peninsula is west of Kas and is surrounded by olive and almond trees. Villa Kibele is situated on the lagoon side of the peninsula and is only 3 kilometers from the town of Kas.The friendly town of Kas is only five minutes by car.There are plenty of taxis available in Kas. Minibuses pass at every half an hour in front of the villa.Cultural sites are within easy driving distance.There are lots of agents which organizes cultural trips.

Staff : Staff carries baggages in your bedroom and he is on call for your needs. Staff maintains the garden, terraces, swimming pool, collects refuse and makes daily light cleaning of the villa.
Maid service is provided once a week for cleaning and the change of towels and linens. Additional cleaning is available at local charge.

COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS

1- After each guest, 24 hours will be reserved for disinfection and cleaning operations and the new guests will be welcomed 1 day later.

2-All the rooms, bathrooms and living areas will be disinfected by ULV machine ann there will be hand disinfection equipments at the entrence.

3- Your temperature will be measured with a infrared thermometer by our staff at the check-in.

4-All the luggages will be disinfected by our staff at the check-in.

5- Daily cleaning is not available during Covid-19 period. Garbages will be picked up every day.

6- Pool and the open areas will be cleaned and disinfected every day.

7- Pool will be not allowed to use after 10:00pm for cleaning and disinfection.

The apartment building is very well connected to public transport and taxis are easily available. It’s 500m from Galata Tower, only 4 minutes' walk from Sishane metro station, 3 minutes' walk to Tünel funicular and a short downhill walk to connect with the tram for Sultanahmet. Famous Istiklal Avenue is around 5 minutes' walk up the hill.

Our apartment is on the 2nd floor of a grand and elegant 19th century building very close to Galata Tower. It's stylish, spacious, graceful and airy, with stunning views right across the Golden Horn from the shared roof terrace a few floors up.

Our apartment is on the second floor - two flights of original marble stairs - of a grand and elegant 19th century building very near to Galata Tower. The building entrance is on a characterful cobbled street, packed with intriguing boutiques and cafés. A few floors up on the roof-top, a shared terrace has gorgeous views across Golden Horn to the Old City.

It's about 3 minutes walk to Sishane metro station, less than 5 minutes walk to Tünel funicular and a short downhill walk to connect with the tram for Sultanahmet. Famous Istiklal Avenue is less than 10 minutes walk up the hill.

The four bedrooms are stylish: three doubles and one twin, each with chic velvet headboards and high quality crisp white linens. The comfortable living room is very spacious and light, with a newly-upholstered vintage sofa and chairs, feather cushions and antique pieces. This is a small Turkish-British family project. Julia and Tarkan used to live in Istanbul then Singapore and are now balancing life between England and Istanbul. If we're in Istanbul during your stay we'd love to meet you.

Galata has a genuine, very welcoming and diverse community with an intriguing mix of cafes, restaurants, small grocery shops and artistic boutiques. Elegant 19th Century buildings line cobbled streets, with discoveries waiting around every corner. No matter where you wander, you'll always find your way back to Galata Tower, which has been a well-loved landmark for the last 700 years.

Metro, bus, tram and ferry stops are all only a couple of minutes' walk away. You can be in Sultanahmet (for the big sights of Ayasofya, Topkapı, Blue Mosque etc.) in about 12 minutes by public transport or 20 minutes on foot. In the other direction, by Metro, you can be in Şişli (for Istanbul's biggest shopping mall) in 10 minutes or Levent (for Istanbul's business district) in 15 minutes.

There are many taxi ranks around and some secure car parks too.

For each confirmed booking we arrange a tree to be planted in Turkey (via TEMA) to offset part of the carbon dioxide emission from the resulting flight. We encourage you to plant more trees: easily arranged during online booking.

We use local maintenance and cleaning services for the apartments and in this way we provide a good income for 2 families who lives nearby.We do everything we can to preserve all the original features and materials in the apartments. Where new materials are needed we source them locally, prioritising products that are designed and/or made in Turkey.

Our apartments are uniquely situated amongst mosques, churches, synagogues, a mevlevi ‘whirling dervish' hall and other sites of religious significance. We encourage guests to sense the history of religious tolerance and hopefully! to experience something of it themselves during their stay.
