Private Guesthouse with full bathroom in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood with artificial lakes, small parks & a playground. It has its own AC/Heater, WI-FI, Mini Fridge, Keurig coffee maker, Iron, 55in smart TV, water softener-filtration system, & a separate power generator. 5 min drive to shops/restaurants & a 20 min drive to downtown or to S.Padre Island beaches.

Guesthouse was built in 2015. Measures about 200sq ft.
Guest access
Guesthouse is physically detached from the main home. There is no access to the main home.

We own 2 friendly dogs. They will be inside our house but may bark when we receive visitors or if they see you go in/out of guesthouse from our front window. (They are not constant barkers).

Our Bluff Guesthouse is just the right place for privacy, and convenience, located in a quiet neighborhood, but not too far from Corpus Christi beaches, restaurants, and nightlife. Built as an “Efficiency Apartment”, the guesthouse sits above a large detached boat garage, and includes cooking basics, a coffee maker, a stand up shower, and a washer & dryer in the sunroom. The guesthouse is great if you are looking to come home to a quiet, simple space, while in Corpus Christi.
The space
You will have maximum privacy, as there are no shared spaces. The main house is detached, next door. It is occupied by a renter.
Other things to note
The guesthouse is above a garage, so there are stairs to climb, in order to gain access to the space.

Quiet residential neighborhood, home originally built in 1960. One block from the water, and within walking distance to waterside parks. Private entry by the driveway. Well landscaped courtyard with table and chairs available. Fully light path to entrance.

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally located space. A cozy, quiet tiny peach of a space, less than 200 square feet, tucked in behind my garage. Perfect for a couple looking to unwind and relax! You have a private entrance and patio. Only 2 blocks to the downtown Heritage district of beautiful Rockport you’ll find plenty of beautiful shops, a public fishing jetty, the occasional evening music downtown, and less than a mile, our beautiful Blue Wave beach to enjoy!
The space
It’s very peaceful and quiet, set back from the street. Cozy and comfy, perfect for unwinding. Please note, if you are over 6’ you may bump your head on the Loft! I’m so sorry, this space is not suitable for small children.The patio has a charcoal BBQ (Bring your own charcoal), twinkle lights for the evening. Cushions are stored in the deck box (please put them away in the box at night). Small, under 30#, well behaved dogs are welcome, please pick up after them! There is a $50 pet fee. It’s appreciated if your pup is crate trained if you’re leaving them unattended. There is a local doggie day care, if you have an all day excursion planned. You can find info in my guide book. Pets must be fully vaccinated and on flea and tick prevention. I am sorry but cats are not allowed.
Other things to note
Your private area is completely fenced in. There is a water hose, rinse off area on the west side of the studio off the end of the patio. The entire backyard is also fenced in independently. If we experience a power outage, you must expect to lose Internet/ WiFi. I’m so sorry but this space is not suitable for small children under the age of 12.
We are on a regularly scheduled pest control regimen, however:
You may encounter wildlife including but not limited to: insects, spiders, snakes, lizards, possums, skunks, racoons, palmetto bugs, mosquitoes.
Sometimes the bugs and spiders and even the occasional skink (lizard) will sneak in the house without permission. Scoop them up and escort them back out; they won't hurt you.
There is a garden in the back yard so there is a lot of fragrance from the flowers resulting in bees and butterflies. In the Summertime you may expect to see wildflowers.
We encourage you to purchase Travel Insurance to protect your trip.
There are no discounts or refunds for wildlife or insect encounters, inside or out. For long term stays: You may Not receive mail at my home, it will be returned to the Post Office.

Quaint 1BR (queen) guest cottage right on the water. Located on 4+ acres with 450' of frontage on Copano Bay. Private pier, beach, fishing, kayaking and spectacular sunsets.
The 'little house' is next to a larger home that is seldom used. Completely remodeled after Hurricane Harvey, including new flooring and windows.
Minutes from restaurants, grocery stores, public boat ramp and Rockport Beach. An easy 20 minute drive to the Port Aransas for deep sea fishing.
The space
A comfortable cottage on a huge lot. Recent updates include new furniture, bedding, kitchen appliances, bathroom and wood floors, thanks to Harvey.
Our main house is occasionally used by our family, but not on a regular basis. If you don't want us hanging around while you are staying, please inquire when you book.
Guest access
If you have stayed with us before you know we had a beautiful, long fishing pier out back. Well, Harvey relocated that, but it has been rebuilt even better! Easy access to Copano Bay to wade fish or launch kayaks. Park your boat at the pier. Convenient to public boat ramp, bait stands, restaurants & shopping. 10 min to downtown Rockport.
Other things to note
We have 2 kayaks that are available for a small fee (much less than in town). If you would like to arrange a fishing trip or a family outing to St. Joe Island please let me know and we can help you out. We don't take guests fishing but hopefully can point you in the right direction.
