We enjoyed the extra touches such as warm cookies in the lobby. The included breakfasts were delicious; not your standard hotel fake scrambled eggs. The owners and staff were invariably helpful and friendly; we had questions about local restaurants and how to escape the Jackson downtown area, which was always jammed when we were there. Instead, we went to Teton Village and to hiking spots at Jenny Lake and Taggart/Bradley Lakes. The hotel location is perfect for a wide variety of activities. Our room was cleaned daily; very comfortable bed. WiFi was decent. I think this was a great value and a memorable experience."

Horseback Riding. Saddle up on gentle, sure-footed horses and head out for an easy one to two hour ride into The Teton Wilderness Area.

RIDING IS NOT MANDATORY! You can still experience this unique adventure with family and friends.

Western Cookout. Settle in around the fire under a canopy of lodge pole pines. Relax while we prepare a real western cook-out as the sun sets, followed by a cozy campfire and star gazing.

Overnight Accommodations. Retire to your private lantern lit wall tent. Sleep on comfortable bunks. Early risers have the best chance at spotting deer or moose roaming near camp.

Breakfast. A country style breakfast is served in the large cook tent warmed by a wood stove on frosty mornings.

Welcome to 211 Lodge. The Bear Room is located on the basement level with the guest laundry conveniently near by. Like all our guest rooms it has its own full bath with a walk-in closet. The Bear Room also has a king size bed, two night stands, and blackout shades. The game room and theater are also located down the hall. The game room has a bar with an oversized microwave. INCLUDES BREAKFAST

The space
The Lodge is located 6 miles west of Driggs, 1 hour/47 miles from the Jackson Airport, 1 hour to 1.5 hours to Teton National Park, and about 2 hours to Yellowstone depending on what entrance. Times vary depending on traffic and road conditions.

A few other things to note: All 4 rooms have their own walk-in closet and full bathroom. The doors have keypads for entry. Common areas include the great room, kitchen, dinning, loft, theater, game room, and back patio.

Breakfast is served every morning at 0830. It is a full service breakfast. Breakfast burritos to go is another option to accommodate early starts. Make sure you sign up on the board located on the guest refrigerator for breakfast.

Other things to note
We often have moose on the property. Please do not approach them, they may seem tame but are wild animals and are dangerous. Less dangerous is the lodge mascot, Stitch, he’s a 6 year old French Bull Dog and loves guest. He’s quiet unless someone comes through the front door. It is also important to note that he sleeps in the host quarters and will put himself to bed.

We do complementary kayak trips (time permitting), bear spray to barrow, and if you’re here on Tuesday Michelle does taco Tuesday. We also have complementary guest laundry, guest refrigerator and dedicated spot in the pantry for food.

Nature lovers will revel in the streamside tranquility of this guesthouse / studio apartment nestled in the Tetons.
