Working with Austin, our concierge, made it all so effortless. He was fantastic and full of information; he booked our lift tickets and a snowmobiling excursion with Back Country. The hotel is also a short drive into downtown Jackson where we spent our evenings dining and shopping at the local boutiques. We had our 7 yr. old granddaughter in tow so we also incorporated a horse drawn wagon tour of the Elk Refuge and a day at Snow King, riding the Cowboy Coaster, tubing and skiing...the Elk Refuge and Snow King were also a very short drive from the hotel. Also, dining/drinks in the bar at Spur, located on the ground floor of the hotel, was very casual, cozy and convenient. Don’t forget swimsuits for the pool/hot tub! "

Our anniversary was on Saturday and we were wanting to schedule a romantic dinner atop the mountains, however did not go to schedule til Thursday and they were sold out for the day and unable to accommodate, book ahead of time-lesson learned. The Chill Spa couples massage was amazing. Spa facilities were pleasurable and staff accommodating to our specific needs. All in all a fantastic 5 day vacay! "

The house was very clean. The kitchen had extras, like spices and aluminum foil, which was helpful. Two of the twin beds were up a ladder in a loft, so be aware that only kids may be able to get to those. I didn’t dare go all the way up, but looked from the top of the ladder, and there is a tv up there too, so again, kids may love this. I only slept in the king bed that’s on the same level as the kitchen (so I cannot speak to the other beds), but it really needs to be replaced. There is a huge indentation in the mattress on the side closest to the door. Love this location because it is just outside of town and more private. Instructions to get in were easy. Communication between the cleaning crew was lacking. I went through their instructions and received an email saying it was okay for us to check out at noon instead of 10am. However, the cleaning crew showed up at 10:15. We got a call asking why people were still there. The man I talked with was polite and understood this was just a miscommunication, so it was not a big deal for us, but I felt bad the cleaning crew was around, waiting for us to leave because they weren’t informed. Whether you enter Sundown via its garage/mud room or its purple front door, you quickly realize that this three-bedroom home has personality. In West Jackson’s Indian Trails neighborhood, which is popular with local families, this split-half-level home is colorful, minimalist—wood walls give all the public spaces a Scandinavian vibe—efficiently laid out, full of natural light, chic, well-decorated and fun. Rather than a built-in Sub-Zero, the refrigerator here is a Big Chill (a modern appliance brand that makes retro designs). The sofa in the living room isn’t leather, but maroon velvet. The gas-burning fireplace isn’t set in a stacked stone surround, but is freestanding.

Sundown’s western half is dedicated to bedrooms. The master suite has a king-size bed, above which hangs a gorgeous piece of textile art. Still, as eye-catching as the textile art is, the star of the suite is the deep, freestanding copper bathtub. Also in the master bathroom is a generously sized walk-in tile shower and a double vanity.

The two other bedrooms here share a Jack-and-Jill bathroom. One bedroom has three twin-size bunks and a loft with a play area and a fourth twin-size bed in it. The second bedroom has two twin beds, which can be converted to a king size bed, and a loft accessed by a built-in ladder with another twin-size bed in it. The shared bathroom has a dual vanity and a walk-in shower.

On Sundown’s lower level, a TV room has a large, overstuffed sofa in front of an oversize television and also two twin-size daybedsAlso on this floor is a laundry room with a stackable washer and dryer.

While the downstairs TV room is certainly meant for hanging out, it’s likely you’ll find yourself in the upstairs open kitchen/dining/living room more often. There’s the aforementioned red velvet sofa. Also, a built in dining table with more than ample seating . In the opposite corner of this space, a custom bench built beneath an east-facing window is the perfect spot to enjoy a morning cup of coffee.

The kitchen has a five-burner gas range and an oversize island. Between the kitchen area and the dining table is a door to an outside south-facing deck. Behind the freestanding fireplace, a door leads to a second deck. This deck has stairs down to the yard.

Indian Trails is a residential neighborhood close to bike paths, local schools, and grocery stores. Downtown Jackson is about three miles away; grocery stores are even closer. A short hike popular with locals, High School Butte, is in the neighborhood. Bike pathways connect Indian Trails to downtown Jackson (about a 10-15 minute ride), Teton Village (a 40-minute bike ride), Wilson (a 25-minute ride), and Grand Teton National Park (an all-day adventure).

Located half way between Jackson Hole Ski Area and Grand Targhee, this is the perfect jump off point for starting your adventure. In the summer you are close to Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. Close by, the area offers hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, fishing, whitewater rafting and scenic float trips down the glorious Snake River - well you get the idea. There is also great shopping, art galleries and excellent restaurants.

The space
Your room in my home is bright and clean with a private bath. I am Donna and I enjoy meeting people from everywhere and from different walks of life.

Our home is located between Driggs and Victor, on the east side of the valley. Peaceful home with magnificent views of the mountains and the valley. Convenient access to the great outdoors. Easy access to Grand Targhee, Jackson Hole and Yellowstone NP. Comfy bedroom with queen bed, full sized bed, and a private bath. Eating area with microwave and mini fridge. Our place is great for couples, solo adventurers, small families, and business travelers.

The space
The private bedroom and bath are accessed by stairs through the main house to the basement. Lots of natural light with large windows. You will be the only occupants in the basement. The basement has an area to heat up food and a table to sit at.

Guests have access to the family room (downstairs) with a pellet stove, kitchenette in basement, and outside decks in front and back of house. See pics for shared areas. Master bedroom, office and guest bedroom are private and off limits.

During your stay
My husband and I are both working professionals and empty nesters. We are either working or playing most of the time. Even though you are renting a private room it may seem like you have the whole house. You may be on your own if you book during the week. We will be home most weekends, but typically out and about playing in Teton Valley.

We do have pets in the house. We have a wonderful female black lab, Piper. And a new puppy Aussie doodle, Boomer the dogs lives outdoors and indoors. Both are are very friendly and love interacting with people. We also have a cat who lives outdoor/indoor. Free roaming chickens live on our property, although during the winter they stay in their chicken coop because of the snow.

Linens, towels, and soaps provided for you to enjoy a stress-free vacation.

There is a red gate at the entrance to our property. Enter and drive left, toward the red cabin. Park near the sign that says “Guest Entrance”. Walk to the tiny home from there. It's a quiet and peaceful community, so please respect neighbors and surrounding private property.

Located right outside of little Tetonia Idaho, sits a spacious house with some of the best Teton views imaginable! The Aqua Room is on the second floor and has a shared balcony outside the room. The house sits in a quiet neighborhood without any close neighbors, unwind and take in the beautiful surroundings! Guests are welcome to use the shared spaces and game room until 9:00 pm. No children allowed under 7 years of age.

The space
The listing is set to accommodate 2 people in a private room with a shared bathroom and shared kitchen. Our house is one that will be hard to leave! Spend the afternoon shooting hoops, playing ping pong or pool, playing on the jungle gym. Wind down on the front patio while enjoying one of the best views in the valley.

Guest access
Guests will have access to all of the common areas, including all amenities. Access is granted to the kitchen and all cooking utilities, but no food or drink is provided by the host. Unfortunately, we have to put a 45 minute time limit on kitchen use. There will be other guests that would like to make a meal for themselves. Quiet hours are 9PM to 8AM. We ask that you do not cook, play ping pong or pool during these hours. We also ask that you use quiet voices so others may sleep if they would like to! No children allowed under 7 years if age.

We want people to arrive as guests, and leave as friends! We have been in the area for 35 years and want to help share the beauty and knowledge of this place we call home.

You will only be one block from Main St. in Victor, where you can walk to restaurants, the market and grab some coffee. Victor is the epitome of small town living. I live next door and am here to help you with any of your needs.

The space
The apartment has been nicknamed the "tower" due to its big south facing windows which look out to the mountains. Its high ceilings and light make for a very comfortable and warm space. Enjoy the large screen TV and comfy couch after a day of adventures in the mountains. And get a good night sleep on the super comfortable bed!

You will find everything you need in the apartment, including all cook's tools (blender, coffee maker, french press, toaster oven, etc).

Guest access
You will have access to everything in the apartment. I can arrange for space in the shed for your skis or bikes should you need it. There are two parking spaces in the driveway for your use.

I have lived in the area since 2002 and can help you plan any sort of adventure. I have worked as outdoor professional for most of my life and can help arrange any sort of adventure you are interested in. Teton Valley is a great place to bike, hike, fish, climb and enjoy live music. There are great restaurants here in Victor as well as in Jackson and we'll surely share our favorites! I have two 10 y/o Brittanys, who are very friendly. There is an E-fence in the yard, so you will most likely meet them. They like to bark and make noise when they get excited but are very loving and will likely want to get a good pet from you!

The Pines Motel * Guest Haus is an hour's drive over the Teton Pass in Driggs, ID, in the heart of Teton Valley, 12 miles from Grand Targhee Ski Resort. The grocery store is across the street, and many restaurants and shops are within easy walking distance.

We are the Pines Motel*Guest Haus, and our property sits on over an acre of tree-covered lawn. For your summer fun and relaxation, we have a fireplace, gas grills, picnic area, lawn chairs, and plenty of room for children to play. Besides our five upstairs AirBnB rooms, we have two other AirBnB rooms downstairs with private bathrooms, and dedicated parking in front of these two rooms.
