The fenced in patio in the back of the home has plenty of room for guests and their pets to take in the picturesque mountains. At night guest can enjoy the beautiful night sky and get a glimpse of the milky way.

The patio also includes a gas grill ready for entertainment.

The kitchen is fully stocked with a refrigerator, coffee maker, dishwasher, and electric stove. The pantry has all basic utensils and pots and pans for guest to cook while they enjoy theirs stay. There is also plenty of space for storing any pantry items.

The living room has a 45 inch tv and has dish for guests to enjoy programs after their long day of hiking.

The home also come with a stacked washer/dryer combo so laundry will not be a problem.

We welcome all guests to bring their horses as we offer a separate pen adjective to the home for an additional $50.00 per horse/per night. The fee covers hay and water.

This quaint cabin on 21 fenced in acres is located in rural Clark Wyoming and lies in the shadow of both the Beartooth Mountains and the Absaroka Mountains. It is minutes away from two destination towns, Red Lodge, Montana (40 minutes) and Cody, Wyoming (35 minutes). Enjoy a 68 mile scenic drive on the Beartooth Highway referred to as "the most beautiful drive in America" by Charles Kuralt of "On The Road" or fish for blue ribbon trout in the Clarks Fork river as there are numerous access areas just minutes from the cabin's door. This area borders the Shoshone National Forest affording the visitor numerous outdoor opportunities. Our nation's first national park, Yellowstone National Park, has two entrances (Northeast and East) within easy driving distance from Clark.

The area is home to numerous wildlife such as pronghorn antelope, mule and whitetail deer, bighorn sheep, mountain goats, black and grizzly bears, elk and coyotes.

The area abounds with history. In 1877, Chief Joseph of the Nez Perce evaded the U.S. Army by passing through Clark and traveling out the mouth of Clark's Fork Canyon on his attempt to reach Canada. Take a drive on the Chief Joseph Scenic Byway (Wyoming Highway 296) and follow the route of the Nez Perce.

The interior has been recently renovated and redecorated with modern western finishes. The large living room features soaring ceilings, comfortable seating, and a large television. Need more sleeping room? The sofa and chair both fold out into beds. The well-appointed chef's kitchen offers plenty of counter space, seating for four at the dining table and two barstools at the island to watch the prep. Living room is extra cozy with thick snuggling blankets, comfortable throw pillows, and extra long sectional couch perfect for an extra sleeper or watching movies. Again, just a small suggestion but overall we had a wonderful experience and would certainly stay again!!!"

Pets are not allowed on the property but there is a great dog boarding facility just down the road for your furry friends! We are only 8 minutes from town in a beautiful rural part of Lovell.

Located in a quiet neighborhood of Powell. Our home is just 30 miles from Cody and about 75 miles from the east entrance of Yellowstone National Park. (Takes about an 1.5 hours to drive to the east entrance) Billings, MT, the Big Horn Mountains, Pryor Mountains and many other Wyoming treasures are also within driving distance.

The space
The main guest bedroom has a queen bed and full detached bathroom right next to it. If you are group that needs an extra bedroom, there is a bedroom directly across from the main airbnb room that can be rented as well. (A total of 4 guests can stay).

If you are interested in renting the extra bedroom with a queen bed, please contact me so I am aware of the extra space being rented.

Although the house is shared with the hosts, we will not invade your privacy. The room has a mini fridge, microwave, cups, plates and utensils for your convenience. The kitchen is also available if you need to cook or if you need more space to refrigerate food.

Guest access
You are welcome to use the living room in the basement during your stay as another place to sit and relax. Please DO NOT use the living room as a place to sleep.

The kitchen is also available for you to cook meals, use dishes, and/or eat.

The space
This is a one room cabin with two lofts. There is a queen bed on the main level and a twin mattress in each loft.
There is NO kitchen but there is a microwave and ice chest cooler.
The bathroom is attached BUT DOES require outside entrance.
In the summer, enjoy air conditioning and a propane stove will keep you warm in the cooler seasons. (Not however in the 0 and below temps we experience periodically in winter. Please be aware.)

Please remember this is a rustic cabin with the goal of offering an experience somewhat different than a typical hotel. We hope it helps you to imagine the lives of our stalwart pioneers (hopefully without the toil it took to survive in earlier times).

We live on the property as well and guests are welcome to explore property. The fence line does define our private space/living area.

The cabin bathroom is for cabin guests only and is not shared by us or other guests, the Homesteader Cabin is the only guest home on our property.

As mentioned we do live on the property and may be outside working in the yard, garden etc. and are happy to visit with you if you like or give you the space you may need.

Other things to note
The bathroom is heated and has a shower. Access to bath is about 5 ft down the walkway from front door of cabin. Yes, outside. Robe and slippers proviided🤗

Friendly pets are welcome, we just ask that they do not get on the beds.
No unattended pets in the cabin.
Pets need to be on a leash when outside as we do have free range chickens and geese during the day and cats that roam.

we do get a moth migration that comes thru every year (dusty millers) - the bears, in Yellowstone, depend on these, they arrive USUALLY mid to end of June and can be around a couple weeks, so there may be moths in or around the cabin and the bathroom. We do our best to keep them out and detour them but during the worst of it (which is unpredictable) there is not much we can do - they invade our home as well and all our neighbors etc.

Everything you have ever heard about the Wyoming sky, stars and sunsets is all true! Absolutely a must see and experience.

GPS is not as accurate in Wyoming as you may accustomed to. Google maps is the most accurate app for directions to the cabin.

This sheep wagon is completely off the grid. No AC/heat. There is an outhouse as well as a shower house. The shower house is attached to a black water tank. The water heats up with the sun. If it’s a hot day, the water will be warm by the end of the day. If the weather is cool, the water won’t heat up as much. Just make sure to enjoy the water by the end of the day, because it will cool off when the sun goes down!

The space
You’ve got the back of our property to yourself. Feel free to explore up to the fence line. But watch out for snakes and cactus! There’s also corn hole boards and bean bags (inside). Feel free to enjoy!

The sheep wagon has a solar panel setup. You can charge your phone or anything that uses a USB connection. There are no other electric plug connections besides USB. The solar panel runs the lights inside, as well as small fans.

The outhouse sits on a 4 foot vault tank. Be careful not to bring valuables inside, or you will be responsible for retrieving something that may fall in the tank.

Guest access
Feel free to fill up your water jugs at our water hydrants by the main house. If you would like to prepare a meal, you may use our portable propane camp stove, which is up at our ‘Grill and Chill’ area by the main house. From the sheep wagon to the main house, it is about 1/4 mile.

I understand that this can be an inconvenience for meal prep, especially for those arriving late, but we had a fire in the back of our property in 2021, so we no longer allow cooking at the sheep wagon area. The only water at the sheep wagon is what is in the black water tank attached to the shower house, so if something were to happen fire-wise, there's no access to water.

For cooking, we provide pot/pan/cooking utensils/plates/silverware/salt/pepper/oil. If there’s something else you need, simply ask!

Other things to note
This is glamping-the sheep wagon gets hot during the day, but cools off at night.

You do have to walk to the outhouse as well as the shower house, keep that in mind for nighttime. There are two small flashlights for your use. We have small solar lights to light the path, but it’s not a significant light. Remember that this is glamping. It will be dark, possibly cold at night, and there are bugs.

This is a smoke free rental. Absolutely no smoking inside or outside of the sheep wagon!!!! $250 fine. Please refer to house rules.

We’ve seen owls, snakes, deer, antelope, rabbits, mice, and foxes on our property. If you get lucky, you might get to see some wildlife! All of that being said, please make sure to shut the sheep wagon/outhouse/shower house doors when not in use.

Welcome to our spacious 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom, 1000sqft apartment located on the 2nd level.
Nestled in a peaceful area of Cody, our apartment is just 6.5 miles from town and 58 miles from the east entrance of YNP. The serene surroundings offer a perfect escape, while still providing easy access to local attractions.
Please note that our property is situated on a rough dirt road, so we recommend a 4WD or AWD vehicle. If there is rain, the road condition will be worse due to the mud.

The space
This apartment has a living room with Roku TV, one bedroom with a king-sized bed, a walk-in closet (fire escape in floor of closet), a laundry room with washer and dryer, one bathroom with standing shower, and a full kitchen and dining area. Please note this area is located in Cody but outside of city limits. We are on a rough dirt road, so vehicles with 4WD or AWD are highly recommended and vehicles with some ground clearance.

The Pocket Homestead is a tiny house built by the local high school vocations program. A light design of "white"-washed wood and high ceilings invites you to relax while offering room for 3 comfortably. The house offers two lofts, one with a twin bed and the other with a queen-sized bed. A ladder leads to the small loft, a fun adventure for kids and those young at heart. Stairs give access to the larger loft. The kitchen is the perfect size to prepare meals or enjoy a morning coffee. There is a microwave, multi-function air-fryer, hot plate, refrigerator/freezer, and all of the cookware you need to prepare a delicious meal. The house also has a full bathroom with a walk-in shower. Finally, an outdoor patio allows you to grill on the propane grill, relax around the fire pit, or enjoy the day on the outdoor furniture.
Guest Access
Guests have access to the property to walk around. Horse boarding is welcome. Guests can pet the horses that are on the property. There is a garden that guests can access to pick a tomato, zucchini, or cucumber to use for a meal. There are also plumb trees, an apple tree, and grape vines that guests can pick from when the friut is ripe.
There are two campers available (The Comfy Camper and The Cave) that can be rented to accommodate a larger party.

Guests have access to the property to walk around. Horse boarding is welcome. We have a corral with a shelter that is completely separate from our horses. We also have certified weed-free hay that can be taken to the National Forest. Guests can pet the horses that are on the property. There is a garden that guests can access to pick a tomato, zucchini, or cucumber to use for a meal. Other things to note
Take a day trip to Yellowstone via the east or northeast entrance. Both are just about a two-hour drive. Visit Cody and enjoy all of the shopping, historical sites, and museums. Closer attractions include the Big Horn Canyon National Recreation Area, which includes the stunning Devil's Canyon Overlook, Pryor Mountain Wild Horse Management area, Horseshoe Bend Lake and marina, and the Two Eagles Interpretative Trail. You can also visit the visitor center or the Kane Museum in Lovell on your way to the Big Horn Canyon National recreation area or the iconic Medicine Wheel up at the top of the Big Horn Mountains.
Hungry? Two of the best restaurants around are less than a 5-minute drive. The Bull Pub in Cowley and Wyoming 310 in Deaver.

Guests will enter our home through the shared front door and approach the living room entryway area. Please look left to the stairway where leads downt to your bedroom in the basement. A guestroom with 2 queen sized beds. Separate Shower room and a kitchenette : microwave, Keurig coffee machine, and a mini fridge. Laundry and dryer are provided in the basement, too.
Extra towels, blankets, and pillows are available upon request.
For quality stay, please do Leave Your Outdoor Shoes in the entry shoe rack. Quiet hours : 10pm to
7 am.

Guests will share the particial living room connects to the frontdoor with hosts. The basement space is private to guests during their stay. Laundry room might be shared with hosts when necessary.
Host's kitchen and upstairs area are Not open to guests to use. Trailhead neighborhood trails are open to the public.

The Roost is a custom build with quality craftmanship. It's set among old growth cottonwood trees in a relaxed older neighborhood that feels like the country. You'll have the entire guesthouse to yourself, a small patio outside to bbq and a yard with fire table and 4 adirondack chairs to enjoy the many birds and deer in the summer. Downstairs is a queen bedroom/bath with a trundle in the loft. Fully equipped kitchen with small stainless gas range, apartment sized fridge and dishwasher.

The space
The Roost is a new construction build (2021) that offers modern farmhouse charm- with white quartz counters, locally made custom cabinets, locally milled rough sawn floors and beetle kill ceiling and trim. It also has two mini splits in the downstairs area, offering air conditioning and heat. Enjoy on demand hot water, a 32" in smart HD fire TV in the main living area downstairs and internet that is hardwired to the cabin for high speed and better security. The Roost might be small but it feels spacious, even for a group of four.

You will have your own parking next to the porch and a small area outside to enjoy bbq’ing, looking at the stars and listening for the owls that live here. Or sit in the private courtyard and warm up by the fire table. We intentionally don't have patio lights in the courtyard so that you can enjoy the beautiful night sky by campfire.

The Roost is one hour from Yellowstone (east gate opens early May and closes early Nov and winter travel by snowmobile starts in December). The Roost is about 5 minutes to downtown.

We do not allow pets but if you need to board your dog you can pre-book with Bed and Biscuit. The boarding facility is just down the road from our guesthouse and they have a nice facility for dogs.

No smoking or vaping on property. Please take a walk down the road if you must smoke.

Please treat The Roost like your own. We worked really hard to build the space.

We live in the main house just behind the guesthouse and we have a black lab named Pepper that doesn't bark. She wears a wireless collar that keeps her in our yard so please don't call her to come up to the guesthouse.

The Roost is located close to the airport and a quick bike or drive to downtown. There is a short trail close to our house that would make for a nice walk. Its also located 2 blocks from an elementary school with 3 playgrounds.

There is a parking spot just in front of the porch. It easily fits one car or two small cars can squeeze in. You are welcome to park along the road as well. Please don’t park in our driveway, it can make it difficult for us to get out.

Other things to note
Between each guest all surfaces are bleached, light switches, lamps including on/off knob, door knobs or handles, railing, stools, chairs, grill and anything else a hand might touch. All bedding, including the duvet, is washed in hot water and changed between guests. Having a clean space for my guests is very important to me.

This Spacious Victorian-style home filled with antiques and historic decor, has 4 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, and we also provide air mattresses, a toddler bed and 3 Infant Play & Packs; based on your needs. In this 3700 sq. ft. 2-story home, guests have access to a large kitchen with a ranch-style stove with double ovens, dishwasher, fridge, toaster oven, rice cooker, mixer, pots & pans, dishes, glassware - pretty much everything you need! Washer and dryer are also available in the laundry room for free guest use. Guests also have access to a living area, dining room, 1/2 bathroom on the main floor, and there is a large office space with 2 desks available. You may also use the back patio with large bbq grill, as well as the front yard and porch with porch swing. This Country-Victorian house is in a pretty little neighborhood with Parks & Tennis Courts in the area - and is only 1 mile from Downtown Cody where all the extra fun begins! To top it off, the Cody Recreation Center has a fabulous gym, running track, basketball courts and beautiful pools for children and for swimming laps!

Guests have their own Kitchen Counter stocked with a Keurig Coffee Maker; Electric Tea Pot; Organic Coffee & Tea; Purified Water; Organic Fruit & Organic Eggs!

Guests are allowed to park in front of the house, as there is room for approximately 4 cars. You are also welcome to park behind the garage in back by entering through the alley to the back driveway.

The home has multiple solar-powered, motion-detector lights in the front of the house as you unpack your cars in the dark. It is very well lit!

June through September, guests are enchanted with the beautiful flowers and 2 Gazebos that grace the front yard for guests who love sitting on a long relaxing porch! You may also enjoy the bunnies playing in the yard and the deer who roam through!

Although, you could fit more guests into the home than 10, this is the legal limit the City of Cody has established. Thank you for honoring this number of guests.

* This charming house is a home. It was built in 1966. I have owned the home since the year 2000 and raised my 6 children here as a single mother. It's one of my amazing "miracles" and a true treasure to my family. We worked hard to remodel everything we could and make it charming! We actually had no idea it would become a Guest House and we could share it with you until 5 years ago! So, please be grateful when you come to stay. It's not perfect and it's never finished. Ha! There is always something to improve! But, we are extremely kind and generous - and we want the house to be your home while you are here! So, we do everything to make it a special and unique experience for you! We hope you will soak up the love and the charm and feel it is "home" for your Cody moments - as you make memories with your loved ones!
