- "Loved this place! The views were amazing and the hot tub was a bonus. It was close to Shenandoah and the Caverns. The place is well maintained and clean. It was a perfect getaway for the two of us. If only we had more time to enjoy the hot tub. Hope to be back again!" - "I planned a trip out here with my wife while we had some time off to travel. She loved the Chalet, which I had picked out for our vacation. The property was very clean upon our arrival and easy to access. Everything worked that we used, including the hot tub, oven, stove, and new electric fireplace in the TV room. I read some older reviews before our trip that said some of the appliances didn't work and/or were outdated, we found that everything was in working order as of our trip! (Early Spring 2024) It's a 15-20 minute drive to Luray Caverns, and just past that there is a Wal-Mart where we picked up some groceries for our stay. Several National Parks are also in close proximity. We would definitely stay at The Chalet again, it's a quiet and relaxing place to spend a couple of days."

The Cabin is privately owned and family operated, offering all the comforts of home.

The Falling Leaf Cabin sleeps up to 4 guest, features 2 bedrooms with Queen Beds and 1 & 1/2 Baths. The main bedroom is a spacious loft, while the second downstairs bedroom has a private half bath. The fully equipped Kitchen leads to a Dining and Living area with hardwood floors , 18' vaulted ceilings with a Gas Log Stone fireplace. A cozy upper back deck has a beautiful view of the Massanutten Mountain. Outside, listen to the sounds of nature as you relax in the Hot Tub. Adjacent to the Cabin there is a fire-pit to enjoy camping experience. Security camera monitors yard and driveway.

- "This is the perfect location to get away from screens and get off the grid. Close and easy access to Shenandoah National Park, Luray Caverns, and the Appalachian trail. Andrea was so super helpful and solid with communication!" - "The property was charming and beautiful. The cabin felt very cozy. The kitchen was perfect, I loved all the appliances and it had everything you could need to cook. Pots and pans, dishes and bowls, mixers and utensils. It has it all. The hot tub was wonderful especially in the early morning when it's chilly. Perfect size charcoal grill that we cooked a couple of amazing meals on. The Wi-Fi is a little spotty but all in all worked surprisingly well. My son brought his gaming system and it worked quite well. I wasn't impressed with the cleanliness. We encountered a few things like the refrigerator was dirty inside and also the microwave. The oven hasn't been cleaned in awhile. Silverware, pots and pans were dirty and we found a pair of dirty underwear left in the dresser drawer downstairs. But even with that I would definitely stay there again. It was very relaxing and that was most important."

This beautiful cabin is calling all nature lovers. Sitting on the bank of the Shenandoah River, you will enjoy hearing the sound of the majestic water roll by throughout the day and evening as you partake in various outdoor activities or simply relax and take in the scenery from the large back deck of the cabin. The cabin is nicely appointed with updates to the kitchen and both bathrooms. Two rooms have queen beds and one bedroom has two full size beds. The large, open family room with river rock stone fireplace (gas) makes for a warm and enjoyable entertainment setting. There is an outdoor pit by the river for cozy "campfires" -- and an outdoor gas grill for cooking.

The cabin has been well equipped with all the household necessities -- you just need to remember to pack your own bedroom linens and towels to use because linens are NOT provided. (2 Queen and 2 Full). There is a washer/dryer at the cabin.

The town of Luray is less than five miles from the cabin. Luray offers shopping, dining, and entertainment options for the entire family. Luray Caverns is one of the largest and most popular attractions in the Eastern United States -- and, of course, it is hard to beat the Shenandoah Skyline Drive in the Fall. There are a number of local outdoor companies that provide kayak, canoeing, tubing, horseback riding, and many other options. Two ski resorts are within one hour of the cabin.

- "The cabin was just as pictured and had lots of space. Kitchen had everything we needed. Loved the area under the raised house--perfect for hanging our hammocks. Spent lots of time in the river and enjoyed the riverside fire ring. And, we were lucky enough to be there for a meteor shower. Short drive to Luray and Shenandoah National Park and all the great hiking there. I've rented riverside cabins in the area a number of times and, while they have all been enjoyable, this one was my favorite."

With recently installed Starlink internet providing speeds of up to 150 Mbps, you can enjoy seamless streaming and crystal-clear Zoom calls for the entire group. The cabin accommodates up to four guests (with the possibility of accommodating two additional guests upon request) and is fully equipped for handicap accessibility.

Inside, you'll find two queen beds and a double bed in the third bedroom, with sheets and towels provided. Air conditioning keeps you comfortable in the summer, while an electric fireplace adds warmth and ambiance during cooler months.

Outside, two spacious decks beckon you to relax amidst the trees, while a luxurious hot tub and gas BBQ grill offer additional opportunities for enjoyment.

Please note that we maintain a strict no-pet policy, with violators subject to a minimum cleaning fee of $100. The cabin is non-smoking and available year-round, with a potential minimum stay requirement of three nights and variable pricing for weekends and holidays.
