While there are plenty of dry weekends during those months when a regular vehicle would be fine, you cannot know that in advance. Please take this warning seriously for those months. For the rest of the year, regular 2wd vehicles are fine.



Dogs are welcome! There is a limit of 2, with a pet fee of $50 per. Unfortunately, we can't accept cats. Sorry about that!

There is no trash service in the area, so please take your trash with you.you where to take it, Instructions in the cabin tell so you don’t have to take it all the way home! Alternatively, the house manager can take them for a tip of $5 per bag.

The Cowboy Cabin is one of two non-connected duplex cabins. The Cowboy Cabin is dog-friendly, with two dogs the maximum number allowed. We kindly ask that all dogs be kept on a leash while on the premises, for the safety of both our farm animals and your pets.

The cabin features one bedroom with a queen bed, one bathroom with a shower & jacuzzi tub, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable dining and living space, flat screen cable TV and Wi-Fi. Linens and kitchenware are provided. They both have a covered, wrap-around porch with rocking chairs and stunning views of the property, as well as an outdoor common area with fire pit and gas grill. Propane and firewood also provided.

The cabins are spaced out so there is no worry of being on top of other guests. The location is a short drive into town and about 20 minutes to the National Park. Honestly, the best part of our weekend was sitting on the porch in the rocking chairs watching the mountains, clouds and birds. The only item that was unfortunate was that there is no seating that is comfortable for watching TV. But we really didn't have much time for that anyway with the hot tub, swing and rocking chairs. We have a high speed Comcast internet to make it easier for guests to work from cabin, or watch your favorite shows. For the safety of the property and the guests, we recently installed a ring camera on the light pole . The camera cannot capture any activity happening outside or inside the cabin or backyard.

*Please be advised this is a Mountainous Property. The main and secondary roads are paved. However there are many side roads which are gravel or hard packed dirt surfaces. You may experience potholes, ruts, steep inclines and rough terrain. Most front wheel drive vehicles have no trouble accessing the property from these roads as long as you drive safely and slowly. We do not recommend low profile vehicles such as sports cars or motorcycles. During the inclement weather of the winter season such as snow or ice you will be required to have 4 wheel drive or tire chains. We also recommend Travel Insurance during winter months. We will consider service dog on case by case basis.
Please Note that we do not give refunds for road conditions and electricity outage that are out of our control. We strongly recommend a 4 wheeled drive vehicle or a truck to access this property during the winter season.

Communication with the property was so easy and fast, I asked about a couple details including the type of coffee maker (keurig duo) and they responded within minutes. We did have issues hooking up to the TV but it wasn't a top priority so didn't impact our stay. Cabins 9 and 10 are the first two you see when you drive in, so I can see how other cabins might be more ideal but we didn't have any issues with privacy even with tenants in the neighboring cabins. Notes for the future: bring charcoal if you want to grill, fold out chairs for the bon fire would be helpful (there's only a bench), and just FYI the bed is a queen size. Great stay. "
