The kitchen was fully stocked with breakfast essentials (and then some): smoked salmon, yogurt, oatmeal, eggs—anything we requested! It was luxury from start to finish. The views are simply breathtaking, and the expansive deck is the ideal spot to soak them all in. The upstairs bedroom is spectacular, with panoramic windows that make waking up feel like a dream. We’ve stayed in many places over the years, but this one tops the list. "

You occupy exclusively a cabin complex of four units linked by covered decks around a carport outdoor space. These provide lovely and comfortable holiday "Glamping" accommodation for a couple with a TV lounge that can be configured as a second bedroom with two full size single beds or a king double.

Hot water, stove and barbecue via gas. Somewhat limited electricity is via solar panels and batteries with a petrol generator if needed.

Close the oversized solid timber gate for complete privacy for your cabin and deck. Enjoy a drink and cook a snack on the outside covered barbeque. A beautiful quiet spot to enjoy a weekend or midweek getaway.

The cabin is nearby but completely separate and private from the main house "The Tawnys" which is also an Airbnb property.
Once the outside door is closed guests have a completely private and secure bedroom ,bathroom and covered decking area with built in BBQ and water supply along with magnificent views over the islands to the Paihia Wharf and the sparkling night lights of the township. Also be entertained by the passing parade of boats and ferries.
It contains all the essentials for your stay including bedding, towels ,heating ,cooling, fridge, jug, toaster, cutlery plates etc. All you need to bring is food and drink!

If you want, a walking track will take you by foot to town. Our property borders the highest point of Russell. And you could have your tea or coffee at the gazebo. You will hear Kiwis at night time and during the day enjoy Weka and Tui life.
The bach has a double bed, a kitchen with everything you need.
We offer basics amenities.
Enclosed outdoor shower on the deck and a good old fashioned long drop compost toilet.
