- "This cottage was the perfect place for a friend and me to get away for a few days to relax and enjoy the Sonoma area. It is centrally located so it's a quick trip to the beautiful town square where there are many restaurants and shops. It's also a short drive to many other towns and wineries all around the area. The house is adequately equipped with basic furnishings and utensils, we went out every night so we didn't use many kitchen items. The bathroom can be a bit chilly during this time of year, but the host provides a small heater that gets everything warmed up quickly. Check-in and parking were very easy and convenient and the beautiful courtyard was the perfect place for a glass of wine before heading off to the dinner. The management was very easy to work with and responded quickly when I had a question about the TV one evening. Everything is keyless entry so it was no problem when we arrived late due to travel issues. I think one of my favorite aspects of this cottage is the cute store that sits on the property. It carries all sorts of homemade soups, sandwiches, and salads. It has a wine store attached with tastings available and a cute coffee shop and boutique all in one. It was so convenient for us to grab a sandwich and chips to have for a picnic lunch while we were ziplining and driving around the Russian River area one day. If I am ever back in this area, I would definitely stay in this cottage again for its central location and cozy vibe. "

The property allowed me and my 2 adult children to spend a few days together in a safe roomy environment During the pandemic we had not been able to see each other and this trip allowed us to safely spend time together while still having plenty of room social distancing. Before our stay, communication with the owner, Si, was smooth and easy and they were very responsive to all of our questions. Upon entering, the whole house smelled wonderfully of cleaning product (which in these Covid times is very much welcome) and everything inside was pristine. The huge outdoor deck overlooks a gorgeous mountain range and faces the sunset. Every room was spacious and neat. The downstairs apartment unit with it's own bed and bathroom is super cozy and has a huge couch for friends to gather. Coffee and tea were provided as well as some seasonings and cleaning supplies. This house is gorgeous and has everything you need. Will definitely be looking to rent this home again in the future!"

Fresh herbs and fruit trees available throughout the property. All within walking distance to many great locals eateries, including El Molino Central, Sonoma Eats, Spread Kitchen, Barking Dog Coffee, Cielito and the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn. Fairmont which offers great outdoor entertainment with live music and excellent food is only 1/2 mile away! Easy access to Sonoma Valley bike trail. 2-miles to Sonoma Plaza and 5-miles to Glen Ellen. You are in the heart of Sonoma Valley! Access can also be arranged for the golf enthusiasts at Sonoma Golf Club! (A-frame & entire property is available to rent also.)

The home was absolutely immaculate; comfortable, clean, quiet, and 100% as advertised. Deb's home is an absolute perfect opportunity to enjoy Sonoma. 10+ star rating" - "What a beautiful log cabin to stay at. The private gates to enter the property were nice and made you feel safe. The yard was beautifully landscaped! The cabin was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need in the kitchen plus more! It was very clean and updated and we really enjoyed the surroundsound Alexa sound system. Our only obstacles were that the rental property said the yard was completely fenced and it wasn't secure enough for our 2 dogs. There’s a beautiful creek that runs through the property that isn’t fenced and VRBO didn’t describe it as not fully fenced, which we thought it was. That was a challenge for us. Also, the second bedroom is up in a loft so you need to climb a ladder to get to it. There is another house on the property so the outside is shared with others. The 8+ security cameras made it a little awkward at times with very minimal privacy, but we understood that it was for security purposes, especially being near a creek. Very beautiful cabin, delicious restaurants very close by and there’s a big grass park next to the backyard where it was nice to take the dogs. It was only about 10 minutes to the square. The hosts were always very helpful and responded instantly to anything we needed."

Property features 2 separate houses (other is A-frame). Both houses can be rented together, if desired.

Swimming pool is shared with other house on property.

Pool does not normally require heating in the summer months. Additional charge for using pool heater.

Pool safety features; electric cover and lockable gate.

This property has shared spaces with the A-frame, such as pool, bocce, fire pit, BBQ and ping pong/dinning table.

Electrical panel for both properties is located on the outside deck of the log cabin. Access may be required.

Property has a seasonal creek running through it and is not fenced along creek.

Modern and spacious with glass enclosed porch, high ceilings and lots of French doors, skylights and windows. Close to town in the very nicest area within a mile of downtown, walkable, or bikeable with my cruiser bikes. You’ll love the views, the location, the goats, quail running around and delicious cafe next door. We just lost our mini horse 7/27 :( we had 16 years, sorry if you had planned on meeting him, it was a sad loss for us.

The space
Wake up to view the hills and little goats in a very peaceful quiet setting. Unique, modern and with a wine country, rustic feeling. It does not have a full kitchen. It has a dorm size refrigerator, small sink, coffee maker and barbecue on the back deck. I only use all natural cleaners, soaps, shampoos, no harsh chemicals or sprays. I don't use any pesticides or herbicides outdoors, all organic, trying to save the bees, and people too!

Guest access
It's easy to access, just drive down the main driveway to the back house, stay to the left, park by the stairs on the left of the cottage, that is where the motion lights come on at night. I will let you know where the key is when you book! If the gates are closed for some reason you have to get out and open them by hand, I close them to keep the deer out at night otherwise they are always open.

Other things to note
Our well water is very good and safe to drink!
Feel free to use the fruit and vegetables in the garden when available. The goats love treats such as apples and carrots, and Chip the black and white one loves to be petted!
Please leave money if you charge a movie on the tv, appreciate it.
