I was able to walk to Bellacino’s pizza for dinner and Walmart and other shops. It was a short drive to the center of town where we found fun dinner and shopping. Breakfast was delicious and consisted of pancakes, eggs, vegetarian omelettes, bacon, turkey sausage, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, and wide variety of yogurts, danishes, muffins, toast, and bagels. There were plenty of condiment choices for syrups, jellies, butters, peanut butter, Nutella, and even salsa. The tea and coffee selection had even more variety. The pool was clean and enjoyable. The pool was heated and they kept the air temperature warm as well. The hot tub was a perfect temperature, not too hot so the kids could also warm up with us. The gym was conveniently located next to the pool and there was a window so I could check on my family while I worked out. The room was comfortable. The beds were ok, more on the firm side. The pillows and covers were soft and cozy. We chose the extended room that had a couch and a pull out bed. The room was so spacious. I really enjoyed having a refrigerator, microwave, and Keurig coffee maker in the room. "

This cosy 1930's cottage offers the opportunity to step back in time and immerse yourself in Lewisburg's roaring 30's (but with modern comforts!). This freshly renovated cottage has an amazing history - it was home to several local identities (including Eileen Kramer, an Australian National Treasure dancer and acclaimed local furniture maker Ozzi May and his wife, Verdie). The cottage is our favorite place for hanging out with family and friends - particularly as we can walk everywhere (and leave the car at home)!. We love using the cottage as a base for exploring Lewisburg and know you will too! It's the perfect 'home away from home'!
The house is small (great for 1-4 people) and has a spacious, well equipped kitchen (with new appliances), comfortable living area, study area with large desk, two comfortable bedrooms (with luxury linens) , separate laundry, a cute upstairs bathroom (with a clawfoot bathtub) and wonderful new large downstairs bathroom (featuring plush towels). .
Original artwork and crafts by local artists, (including my Dad, Ronald Refsland), is found throughout the house.
The large covered porch is perfect for relaxing anytime of the day (even when it rains), people watching or for outdoor dining. A beautiful historic home one block off Main Street on a quiet street set in a beautiful garden. The rental is one whole side of an 1835 side-by-side duplex. Has its own private entrances and patios for relaxing. Beautiful spaces with large windows and high ceiling and a gas fireplace during the cold season. Basic rental is two bedrooms with 1 1/2 bathrooms. HOWEVER an adjoining additional bedroom is available with a queen size bed and en suite bathroom, for an extra $75/night. staying. Furnished with comfy couches, cotton linens, and a completely outfitted kitchen with clothes washer and dryer. All bedrooms are up stairs on the second floor.
Although the house is one block from the center of town, shopping, restaurants, theater, antique shops, galleries, etc it is quiet and has a private setting. A walk down a garden path to your private entrance takes you into a country kitchen/dining room and a comfortable living room with mantels carved by Conrad Burgess, high ceilings, lots of windows and original wood floors.

A few more minutes east of Lewisburg, ( home of the WV State Fair), you can be in White Sulphur Springs for the annual Greenbrier Classic. We have the Greenbrier State Forest and the river trail within 45 minutes. Babcock State Park, Pipestem State Park, Grandview State Park, New River Gorge, Twin Falls State Park, Sandstone Falls, all within surrounding counties. Excellent area to kayak, horseback ride, trout fish, bike ride or bring your ATV's. Welcome to hike around the farm and see all the farm animals and wildlife.

- "What a wonderful stay! The house is perfect! We had 6 total, 4 adults and 2 teenagers and had lots of room for everyone to spread out. The house was exceptionally clean, had absolutely everything you could probably need or want, and the location across the river was nice. - "Easy communication. Spacious rooms. Pretty quiet. " - "We had a lovely relaxing stay at the salt cave lodge. We came in the day before our booked spa treatment and stayed at the lodge. The accommodation was incredibly well thought out and provided a relaxing experience. ZEN!!! The bedrooms looked like rooms in a cave with curving walls, soft lighting, large salt lamps that glowed and even crystals embedded in the walls. The details – the wood tables, blankets, rugs, were impressive. The main room was a living room/dining room/kitchenette. They did have a large tv in the living room area and had wi-fi (relaxing without being disconnected). There were also salt lamps in all of the rooms so even watching tv gave off the salt cave vibe. Outside our rooms was a fire pit that could be used – but I would recommend bringing bug spray in the summer – just in case. Parking and the spa were right there and check-in very easy. Salt cave session was included so we booked that for the next day prior to our spa appointments. The spa location is outside White Sulfur Springs and at least 15 minutes away from Lewisburg. The onsite café opens at 10 or 11 so we ran over to Lewisburg for an earlier breakfast and had a later lunch at the onsite café. With the microwave and frig you can bring food in or drive to one of the nearby restaurants (check their schedules). If the lodge shows rooms available but the spa looks booked online call the spa to double check their availability. I would definitely repeat the entire experience! Amazing!"

Light-filled and spacious. This beautifully renovated 1940's 4-bedroom, 2-bath home is the perfect place for you, your family, or group to gather and relax. Nice hardwoods through-out with lots of natural light and original art work on the walls.
