Not to mention the extremely thoughtful gift bag that was left for us upon arrival was one of the warmest welcomes we have ever experienced from people we have never met, that meant a lot to us, our fur babies also appreciated the goodies. I can't express enough, how wonderful the entire experience was for us. The location was fabulous, we had Snug Harbor Marina literally in the back yard, it was very convenient to be able to wake up and take a short walk for coffee, breakfast, snacks, and a view while we waited for our order. The only downside was, it was too short of a stay, but we look forward to staying there again! We would highly recommend The South Wind Cottage @ Snug Harbor!"

Warm and inviting. The cottage has the feeling of getting away but being close to it all.

Plenty of cooking pots and pans were also stocked, though we did not have time to cook. The home itself is a mixture of old and new, a quirky cute cottage feel, and the quirkiness just added to the charm of our vintage New England experience. Nice backyard with fire pit, (though we did not have time to do a fire either) The beds were comfortable with nice blankets etc. We wish the owners success in their VRBO business."

We love how close we are to the beach and especially love waking up to the sound of seagulls and getting to watch the ferries and boats. Being able to walk over to restaurants and ice cream is a huge plus! The home is very clean and perfectly and thoughtfully decorated with so many “beach” touches. Cottage located on Potters Pond channel across from Matunuck Oyster Bar! Just a short walk ( 0.4 miles ) to East Matunuck State Beach and several restaurants. This 2 bedroom cottage is a great place to relax and enjoy the ocean. Fish off the docks just outside your door, enjoy beautiful sunsets and salty air. 1 queen bed, 1 full over full bunk bed. 1 bath. Outdoor shower. Grill. You will have quick easy access to all the attractions in Rhode Island including Block Island, Point Judith, Galilee, Narragansett, etc
No PETS. NO SMOKING.
