Not to mention the extremely thoughtful gift bag that was left for us upon arrival was one of the warmest welcomes we have ever experienced from people we have never met, that meant a lot to us, our fur babies also appreciated the goodies. I can't express enough, how wonderful the entire experience was for us. The location was fabulous, we had Snug Harbor Marina literally in the back yard, it was very convenient to be able to wake up and take a short walk for coffee, breakfast, snacks, and a view while we waited for our order. The only downside was, it was too short of a stay, but we look forward to staying there again! We would highly recommend The South Wind Cottage @ Snug Harbor!"

Warm and inviting. The cottage has the feeling of getting away but being close to it all.
The property has a calming vibe and don’t be surprised if you see little bunnies, birds, and even deer walking through.💗 Relax and unwind under the pergola. They left chocolates in the fridge, coffee, a Kureg machine, bottled water, and supplied body wash and shampoo and conditioner. They also left a dog bed, food and water bowl for our pup! Plenty of cooking pots and pans were also stocked, though we did not have time to cook. The home itself is a mixture of old and new, a quirky cute cottage feel, and the quirkiness just added to the charm of our vintage New England experience. Nice backyard with fire pit, (though we did not have time to do a fire either) The beds were comfortable with nice blankets etc. We wish the owners success in their VRBO business."

- "Amazing views and super clean" - "Our second year here. We have stayed at other houses at Point Judith and nothing compares to this one! The condo is clean, bright, and comfortable There are beach chairs, beach toys, boogie boards and umbrellas (super helpful not to have to pack all the beach stuff when traveling!) The views are amazing! Love waking up to the boats and ferries and sitting out on the deck in the evenings and listening to the waves. The walk to the beach was one of many reasons why we will continue to come back here! Quick and easy and after dinner we go back so our boys can run on the beach and we can watch the sunset We love using the clamming rakes that are provided and going clamming. The house is stocked with everything you need, Huge lobster pot and lobster crackers! Jim is very responsive and helpful!"

The host was very good about communication. We had a small issue with the door lock and she resolved it promptly for us. Overall a very nice stay and in a quiet neighborhood. Excellent location for being near the beach and not too far from a lot of things to do. I would definitely stay here again with my family in the future."

Our cottage sleeps 4 comfortably with a double bed in the bedroom and a pull out couch in the living room as well as a single futon. Easily walk or ride your bikes to East Matunuck beach, fish off our dock in front of the cottage and enjoy the local restaurants. We are located directly across the water from the Matunuck Oyster Bar and a few minute walk to Captain Jacks. Bring your canoe, kayak or SUP and enjoy Potters Pond. After a day enjoying the water and beach, you can cook dinner on the grill and end your evening relaxing on the dock and enjoying a glass of wine while watching the amazing sunset.

You will also see the oyster farmers bringing in thier catches for the day to the restaurant. Pretty cool. The sunsets are gorgeous from the dock. 30 second drive or 8 minute walk to East Matunuck beach- great spot. Last but not least, the outfoor shower was very spacious and refreshing. Jessica made check in and out a breeze. My only tiny complaint is the cleaning fee....seemed a bit high for being asked to strip the bedding, wipe everything down and dispose of your trash in the center of the compound. Overall excellence though!"
