- "Listening to the ocean is awesome" - "Our stay was great! The staff were friendly, helpful and present on property even at night as a security measure. The location of this property can't be beat! We arrived earlier in the day with intentions of hanging out on the beach before check-in. We were able to park in the hotel lot and our room ended up being ready a little bit early. The property was as expected for Misquamicut beach - relatively no frills, no on site restaurant (although they did have a soda vending machine and coffee available). It is not a luxury property no is it intended to be - you are there for the beach! The room and hotel in general were very clean. There is no closet in the room but there is a dresser and hooks to hang a few items. It was a great place to stay for 2-3 nights. If you are staying longer or traveling with more than 2 people, you may want to look for more spacious accomodations. Overall, we were very happy with our experience and will be back soon! "

A totally renovated 2 bedroom cottage with 2 bathrooms and an outdoor shower. Brand new private wooden staircase to 50 feet of private beach. Outdoor seating area with a fire pit on top of the sea wall overlooking the Atlantic ocean. There is a brand new wood deck that follows the sea wall and holds a large table and umbrella with seating for 6. Also a natural gas grill for all of your grilling needs next to the outdoor shower. As you enter the 700 square foot 2 level cottage, there is a brand new high end kitchen with quartz countertops, Wolf dual fuel range, Subzero refrigerator and wine cooler, and Bosch dishwasher. The quartz island holds 3 stools and the table in the corner has seating for 4. The remainder of the downstairs living area has a 3 seat couch and a 48" flat screen Smart TV . There are ocean views on the first floor from the south side windows. A half bath and bedroom with 2 queen bunk beds, a twin pull out trundle bed and a washer and dryer that complete the first floor. As you climb the spiral staircase to the second floor loft/bedroom, there is a view of the Atlantic ocean from every window. This floor has a full bathroom with custom tile shower, rain shower head . The bedroom/loft has a queen bed with a large dresser.Every room in cottage provides high end paddle fan.
The street side of the yard has plush grass and new landscaping. The native pea gravel driveway with parking for 4 cars is lined with Belgian blocks. The entire property has been landscaped with native species including hydrangeas and peonies. There is natural rock stepping stones leading from the driveway to the main entrance of the house and also from the deck to the wooden staircase that leads down to the sandy beach.

You need to bring your own linens, pillow cases, sheets, towels, beach towels, hand towels, dish towels, etc. There are 3 queen beds and 1 twin size bed in the house.

This cottage is at the Watch Hill end of Westerly, far enough away from the traffic, but close enough to all of the amenities that Misquamicut Beach has to offer.

Prime location! Two bedroom, 1 bath cottage situated in quiet Weekapaug Rhode Island with fabulous large screened porch. Five minute walk to The Innlet for morning coffee and newspaper and delicious sandwiches for lunch on Fenway Beach, a great beach for young children because of it’s gentle descent to the water. The house is still exactly as portrayed in the photos and description. We found the property to be very clean with comfortable beds and high-quality linens. There is a large screen, smart TV in the larger bedroom on a rolling stand which can be easily moved into the living room. The TV is equipped with Roku. Internet speed is good. The showers had a nice strong stream and there was plenty of hot water. The kitchen had modern appliances and was exceptionally well equipped. As an added bonus, there is tasteful art displayed throughout the house. We used the house as a base for travelling to wildlife refuges. There are three refuges within 15 minutes of the house and one that is about 25 minutes. The beaches are 5 minutes away as is the Watch Hill Historic District. The house is in a residential neighborhood which was very quiet except for some traffic sounds from Winnapaug Rd and the occasional private airplanes from the nearby airport, neither of which bothered us. Best to use the driveway on the Knollwood Drive side of the house as the driveway from Winnapaug is REALLY steep. Andrea and Tom were very gracious hosts and responsive to our texts. Andrea was kind enough to arrange an early check-in for us. We would definitely stay at this property again and would recommend it to our friends."

Adorable 2 bedroom cottage. Although small in size, it is bright and airy with all the necessary comforts, including central air, ceiling fans in the living room and both bedrooms, wood floors, dining table, gas stove and a sleep sofa that can sleep a couple of extra guests. Outside there is a patio with table, chairs, umbrella and gas grill in quiet wooded area just off route 1. Outdoor shower available April to October.
The cottage is less than 2 miles to Misquamicut and Westerly beaches as well as downtown Westerly. Watch Hill and Charlestown and numerous restaurants are minutes away. Connecticut casinos are less than half an hour away as is Narraganset and the Block Island Ferry.

- "We stayed here for almost a month because we've moved to the area, but our permanent housing wasn't ready yet. The home and neighborhood are cute and quiet and also conveniently close to the beach and downtown Westerly. There are grocery stores and restaurants just a couple minute drive away. The home is comfortably furnished with nice beach inspired decor, kitchen was well equipped for cooking and it's great to have the washer and dryer. The host was very responsive, friendly and helpful before and during our stay. I highly recommend this getaway."

The Misquamicut State Beach is a 1 minute walk from the apartment and another town called Watch Hill is just a 5 minute drive away. Did I mention there are kayaks included in your stay? A spacious backyard where you can relax and enjoy the sunset or grill out.

- "We needed to book a beach getaway with one weeks notice....we got very lucky finding this perfect 2 BR apt 100 yards from the Beach on VRBO. Our host Tom was outstanding! He fixed up this little apt complex 1/2 block from the beach, but it also has a very cute backyard with family games, a firepit for the evening, on a pond with free use of kayaks, paddleboards, beach gear. He even provided a very nice folding cot as needed for one of my sons just for better sleeping space. When you just want to be able to park your car, and be able to walk everywhere from there on to hit the beach, restaurants, shops, etc this place was terrific. My two sons 20 & 14 had a blast using the paddleboards and hitting the beach. Tom the host owns a business next door and lives across the street so he is pretty much always available to help with any problem or inform you about the area attractions. The apt is an older complex but the place was very clean and had all the needed necessities. The view from the large deck overlooking the pond was gorgeous and a great place to eat breakfast and have your coffee. It is an older beach apt without a/c but we did not need it as we had cool seabreezes. There is some street noise but to be expected due to the great location, it did not bother us at all. We had more fun at this place then hotels costing 3 times as much. If not for the excellent host, I was almost hesitant to write this review for fear of more people discovering this place."

A spacious beach house (with dock), that sleeps eight and is set on the breach-way, which enters the ocean and/ or salt pond. Bring paddle boards, floats or even a boat or jet ski to enjoy this spectacular get away. We have two kayaks. You will have passes to the Misquamicut beach, which is a five minute walk (remembers to bring your own beach chairs). We can actually sleep 8/9 people if you bring a air mattress. - "This an excellent choice, a great value for the cost and an ideal place to be with family and friends. Please do take good care of it! The location of this property is just ideal. That was the very first characteristic we looked for and it was even better than we expected. It’s so simple to walk to a beach (passes provided at property). It saves you from the need to drive and park! Nearby there are countless things to walk to, Salty’s, Dell’s Lemonade, Weekapaug overlook, Weekapaug Inn, the beaches. Up the main beach drive is a drive inn movie theater! The property itself is just ideal for groups of varied ages and interests. Some can sit on the dock and enjoy the view of the breach water constantly changing directions during the day of tides. Some can play PacMan on the upstairs arcade! Some can cook on the Viking range. Some can watch a movie in the AC. It’s just so large and open and with differentiating environments it’s perfect. The WiFi works well! The upstairs balcony has a great view of the salt ponds. The property was clean, and the owner and family are not only accessible, they go above and beyond to quickly respond to all questions and needs. You can have your privacy but if you have any need at all they are very near by to help. I’ve traveled much of the world and this is one of the top properties I’ve experienced in cleanliness, accessibility, owner care, location and flexibility."

- "It was a great location with private beach. The hostess was wonderful, very helpful and made us feel right at home. Was available and great personality." - "We loved being right on the beach. House is spacious, we had plenty of room with multiple adults and a 2.5-year-old running around, toys, etc. The only downfall was while sitting on the deck the top railing blocks the view of the ocean's horizon. Also, the deck off the master bedroom had seagull poop all over it, so we didn't take advantage of that area. I understand on the beach that would be hard to maintain. Definitely will go back! Joe was very easy to work with and very responsive."

Kitchen: Featuring most everything you'd need to craft a Michelin Star-worthy meal, the open kitchen includes a four top electric GE stove and oven, GE microwave, GE refrigerator and freezer combo, ice maker, toaster oven, high-end Viking pots and pans, cooking utensils, cookbooks, and a generous selection of complimentary oils and spices. Dishwasher pods, dish soap, and garbage bags are provided for your convenience. Three stools at the kitchen island allow for several seating options in living space.

Living Room: Large windows and a skylight allow for wonderful views of the ocean and plenty of natural light to illuminate the space. A sizeable and remarkably comfortable sectional couch offers fantastic views of the TV, water, and living space. Turn on the electric fireplace, snuggle in with the cozy throw pillows and blankets, and experience a level of relaxation you didn't know was possible.

Dining Area: With space for up to six people, the Crate & Barrel natural white oak solid wood dining table is the finest gathering spot for all of your meals. Washer & Dryer: A GE double-stack washer and dryer are provided for your use. A complimentary starter set of detergent and dryer sheets are provided.

Televisions: Experience streaming like you never have before. The Saltbox features 43" Samsung 4K Picture Frame Smart TV's in the living room and bedrooms. When not in use, these televisions turn into works of art with no blue light.

EXTERIOR
Oceanfront Deck: Featuring a fully covered, unobstructed view of the water, the oceanfront deck is the perfect place to drink your coffee and watch the breathtaking sunrise of Watch Hill. The large outdoor couch, coffee table, and bar cart are wonderful for connecting over a meal outside.

Bayside/Village Balcony: Breathe in the saltwater as you watch the sunset on the balcony facing the marina bay with a cocktail and snacks. With two swivel patio chairs and a coffee table, you can go back and forth from watching the sailboats depart to people watching as crowds make their way to the waterfront shops of Watch Hill.

Storage: We have a small storage unit located underneath the condo. We invite our guests to use the high chair, pack and play, beach chairs, beach umbrella, footballs, boogie board, casino card games, Say Anything card game, What Do You Meme card game, Spikeball, Can Jam, 76 can cooler, and 32 can cooler. We just ask you to return the items to where you found them.

MOST IMPORTANTLY:
We're pet friendly! We welcome up to two furry family members during your stay at The Saltbox and offer complimentary doggie bags and treats.

Bring the kids! We have a pack n' play and high chair for your family.

Guests will have exclusive access to The Saltbox during their stay. This is a must have during the busy season where public parking is VERY limited. Access to both Napatree Point Beach and East Beach, both less than a five minute walk from The Saltbox.
