- "Our other rental fell through and we went on a last minute hunt for a new spot. We normally would have chosen a quieter rental but decided to go for it and see what life is like on top of an ice cream store. We really had no issues with the store below. They play music but you can’t hear it upstairs. My kids loved going down in their pajamas and keeping an eye on the line and getting ice cream every night. My only complaint would be when the store closes from 10-10:20 the kids pumped their music loud to clean up- but it was just 20 minutes and then they all left for the night. All the descriptions are accurate of the home. The two bedrooms are on opposite sides of the kitchen so you do feel like you have your own space if you are traveling with another family. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of pillows. The kitchen and family room were spotless. There was toilet paper, trash bags, cleaning supplies and hand soap. The air conditioning works really well and the washer and drier in the basement are huge and very clean. The road is busy- but we knew that coming in so no surprises. The owner of the home was extremely fast responding to us. We were able to check in early which was great. The location of the house is close to the beach and shops. There is a hose next to the storage unit which we discovered and were happy to use for our feet. Make sure to take a spin on the tandem bike!!! That was our kids absolute highlight! Thanks for a great getaway!!!"

Easy to put your car away for the week and walk to restaurants, grocery store, mini-golf, Fantasy Island, etc. The one caveat is compared to the rest of LBI the neighborhood is somewhat busy/loud (but it's not busy/loud compared to a place like Wildwood). The house is nice, and well updated. It's 4 apartments in a single house. One other word of warning, if your neighbors are ever particularly loud, you'd be able to hear them. Recent review.... "This is a hidden gem on the south side of Long Beach Island. You can see the water right from the living room. All the furniture is well-kept and modern, the decor is perfect for a beach home, and the place is very clean. Even the bedrooms have amazing views.

Both hosts are very communicative and check in was a breeze.

The area is very safe and all the neighbors greet you with a smile and a wave. The beach is less then five minutes away if you walk. The outside sitting area provides ample sun, nice breezes, and spectacular views at sunrise and sunset. There is plenty of space for a family to spread out and relax, and the high ceilings really expand the living room, dining area, and kitchen area. The unit comes with utensils, plates, and a fully-stocked kitchen with microwave, oven, and range.

The house has been remodeled and raised, which has provided nice bay views and better breezes - particularly on the deck area. An ADA compliant elevator (i.e. large enough for a wheelchair and aide) is available at $100 per week, with a refundable deposit. Some of the best restaurants are BYOB and most have week night specials for couples and families (check the weekly Sand Paper...). Four beach badges are included for use during your stay. The space
The upstairs apartment makes you feel like you are floating over the water with beautiful bay views. The kitchen is equipped with everything a chef may need and plenty of plates if you prefer takeout. There is an microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and dishwasher. A comfortable living room has a flat screen TV, Cable, Netflix, DVD player and WiFi. The sofa in the living room is a sleeper. Two bedrooms each offer views of they bay. One bedroom has a queen bed and sofa which is good for children. The second bedroom has two twin beds. A washer and dryer is downstairs in the garage and is available for use.

Our beaches on ‪22nd Street‬ are pristine and are walking distance to the Spray Beach Hotel, where guests have been known to take a break from the sun and walk over to their beach bar to grab some food and a cocktail. Our street is a surfing beach so bring your board! Four beach badges are included. You can rinse off in the outside shower when you return.

Back at the point, easy bay access from the dock, allows you to explore Barnegat Bay. You can crab off the side for fresh blue claws or take a kayak out to discover the bay area. A fire pit is located at the point for joint use.

Enjoy crab feasts on the deck while listening to the lapping water. There is nothing like watching the sun set, over the bay, creating the illusion of a million diamonds dancing on water.

The space
Perfect for a family of four with a master bedroom and two twin beds in the other bedroom with living room space for an additional guest. Handmade tidewater cypress and Alaskan yellow cedar paneling and cabinetry make the apartment one of a kind. Even the bathroom is paneled in honey-toned cypress, giving you the feeling of being in a boat. You have the choice of showering indoors or using a spacious outdoor shower with hot and cold water and a washing machine. A fully equipped kitchen provides the opportunity to cook delicious meals on the new stove or you may prefer grilling outside on the new Weber grill. Enjoy eating meals either inside or outdoors while you keep shaded from the sun under an umbrella. A large back patio is equipped with three comfortable, handmade chaise lounges along with additional seating. The backyard, surrounded by beautiful pine trees, is a great place to relax when you return from the beach. There are vintage bicycles you can borrow if you wish to take advantage of the great cycling available on the island.

Guests enjoy their own private apartment on the second floor of the house. A private entrance is accessed off of the back patio. Three cars can fit in the side driveway, which is provided exclusively to guests for their use.

Other things to note
From mid-June through Labor Day, we prefer renting by the week, Sunday to Sunday. In the off season (May through mid-June and September), we require a four-day minimum. Three-day minimums are available throughout the rest of the year. You are welcome to reach out with a request to stay for a shorter time in the event that we have availability.

We will rent to a maximum of four adults or a family of five with younger children.

Due to COVID-19, we are asking guests to bring their own bath and kitchen towels, sheets, pillows, and bedspreads/blankets. There is a double bed in the master bedroom and two single beds in a second bedroom.

We do provide toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, dish washing liquid and cleaning supplies.

Thank you for respecting our rental policy that parties and large gatherings on the property are not permitted (either inside or outside).

We appreciate when guests leave our home as clean as you found it when you leave. The arrival time is 4 PM and the departure time is 10 AM.

We are taking extra care to disinfect frequently touched surfaces between reservations. A full refund is available if LBI beaches are not open or there are compelling extenuating circumstances related to the corona virus.

This Charming 2 Bedroom Cottage is Located in the heart Beach Haven and comfortably sleeps 4 guests,w/ a queen bed and 2 twin beds (linens and towels are required), a complete kitchen, a full bathroom w/ shower, a comfortable Family Room, two additional outdoor showers. The backyard has a gas grilled seating for outdoor dining' as well. Washer and dryer are available. 4 houses from the beach, walking distance to shopping dining ,theater and amusement park. it's being completely renovated.

You may use the backyard for grilling and eating and use side courtyard for relaxing and sunning yourselves.Thats where the two outside showers are located for rinsing off after the beach.

Guest access
The entire first floor is yours to use. There is a front porch and a back porch that are private use for your floor. In the back yard there is a shared communal space that includes lounge seating, propane grill, and outdoor shower. Please be respectful of any second floor tenants.

There is a maximum of 2 on property parking spaces available. Garbage must be taken out at end of stay.
